You should’ve grabbed the backwards compatible PS3, the power switch is just a PCB board attached to a small ribbon cable that locks in place, the plastic would’ve clicked back in. I’ve fixed a lot of these, they tend to have a red beep of death due to overheating issues. Still would’ve been a good risk to take. Happy you grabbed the PS5 games, robocop is fantastic, at least have a go with them on your recently new PS5, you won’t regret it! Some great pick ups from the carboot. The carboots are back!

Well I traded in suicide squad and avatar for £41 cash so the way I look at it I’ve got robocop, hogwarts and ghost of tushima for £9 so can’t complain really!
@@retro_rummage_ Yeah i would have done the same, Suicide squad not very good and avatar is not bad but not much to do in it. Really good deal on them all i think Ghost is the star of them all you will love it.

Do it mate if you can get them for less than £5 normally works out okay. If you can’t fix them you can normally get most of your money back on eBay for spares 👍🏻

Kudos to you for carrying on mate. I stopped car boot hunting for video games because most of them are not worth it now. Even PS1 games unless mint and rare.

Final fantasy would have given you £18 voucher and death stranding would have been £16 voucher so might have been worth picking those up but if you're looking to keep one absolutely keep Ghost of Tsushima it's genuinely one of the best games out there

Nice finds. I picked that elite controller up and the guy wanted a fiver so I put it back. Did it work? I also got stuck trying to get out that day. The traffic was insane! I will have to say hello next time I see you :-)
Yeah sometimes it doesn’t pay to be the first person to ask how much. Once a few people walk away they lower the price. It works fine, I gave it to my sister as she has one already with the extra bits Etc 👍🏻
Hiya, yes Lakeside is a Corporate store. I prefer Corporate to franchise, as they are more lenient to trade-ins etc. Is this the same case for you? Also, where in the UK do you go to car boots? Many are just not worth the effort going, as many I see just sell a lot of tat?? Wish I knew the better ones to go to around Essex way....
I find its swings and roundabouts tbh sometimes corporate take things the franchises won’t and vice versa, I’m lucky I have both kinds of shops near me. I’m based in Essex mate near Thurrock. This one is willow farm, I also go dunton and sadlers in the summer 😂

Yeah the newer generation aren’t fussed with physically owning media. I still prefer to buy them physically though 👍🏻

What carboots would ypu recommend around the romford area, i like going, but only really got 1 decent one near me, i dont have a car so would rely on public transport
To be honest mate I’m not 100% sure as it’ll be difficult without a car. Willow farm is the only one I know in that area as the ones I go to are further into Essex. Sorry!

Mate great pick ups and gkad you've learnt that xbox controllers are super easy to fix. Great job on the PS5 games. My advice is get rid of suicide squad. It's a terrible game and the price is gonna drop quickly.
