I need men. As a woman I can only speak to one side of experience in life, I need men to help teach me about their perspective so I can see life as it really is. That way I have more of a holistic perspective. Personally, I love men and the strength and understanding they offer. It looks different for each man, but men consistently bring an aspect of safety and compassion that when put into practice is deeply moving to me. Cheers to you brothers!

My ex was talking to her mom claiming that she didn’t need a man in her life like it was some kinda badge of honor or something. So I kicked her to the curb. I don’t waste my time with women that don’t value me or what me as a man brings to the relationships. I respect and want a women in my life.

Glad to hear it. My poor older brother married a girl he loved, and it seemed like she loved him too. But it turns out she loved herself more; or at least loved being the center of attention. She apparently didn't like me or my brother and I's parents. She even got me kicked out of my childhood home so she and my brother could have it all to themselves. She was lazy and selfish, but my brother loved her and tried to make their relationship work. In the end, she left him, and it took some time for him to get over it. He's doing fine now, and from what I heard, she's not.

I haven't had a girlfriend in the last 20 years, but the two reasons for that are I've been poor my entire employable life(min. wage sucks), so I can't afford to date, and the second being most girls these days are not the type of girl I'd want for a partner. Thinking I’ll start looking at church and doing the hobbies I enjoy. Hope you find somebody brother. I think I’ve healed up enough to start dating again so that’s my goal for this summer. This is a sad state of affairs. Young women have been so disillusioned with all the crap they have been fed over the last decade or so. We cannot survive without each other period... I do appreciate that the one girl said that men are useless and he got her immediately with asking if her day was useless, and she had to say no....

I need my man. He works hard for our family. And he needs me. He would be living off of mac n cheese and frozen pizza without me making him all his favorite foods. We jokingly say to each other all the time, “If you ever leave me I’m coming with you,” or “If you ever die on me I’ll kill you!” We have an excellent marriage, going on eleven years. These foolish young women and men will miss out on so much joy and fulfillment thinking that they don’t need someone of the opposite sex.

I can add that I work on a psychiatric ward. The young female staffers (about 25-30 years old) do not even know how to make oat porridge.
We have to make porridge in the mornings for the patients. The female staffers had to ask me how to make porridge and I asked them if they read the instructions.
One of the most simplest instructions or any food. I had to teach them how to make oat porridge. To this day they make lousy porridge, that the patients come to me and ask me to make porridge in the mornings.
@@ZergRadio of course cooking isn’t the only thing I do for my husband, and I’m not trying to imply that men cannot cook if they want to. My husband despises cooking so I do it for him. I also wash and fold all his laundry, do the dishes, homeschool our three children that we have together, etc. In theory we both could do each other’s jobs, but it works much better for all parties when we rely on each other to do the work that we are each suited for. I could not homeschool our children if I had to leave the home to go to work, and have a clean home and keep a garden. I suppose I could do some of those things, but not all of them. Something would have to give. And my husband would be the first to admit that he would be unable to stay home with the kids to homeschool them. He’s a wonderful, hard-working man, but not academically inclined. We each have different strengths. It’s beautiful when a man and woman work together to make a home. That’s all I was trying to say.

If women literally vanished from earth over night, society last less than 100 years (ignoring any and all other factors that WOULD have an impact). However, theoretically, if MEN were to vanish, society could probably last for many thousands. There would be "harvesting" of sperm and freeze them, so women could STILL populate for a long, long time. Of course, when the toilet stops working, the car stops running or the roof needs to be replaced.... there is NO WAY in hell society would continue that long. There ARE female roofers, plumber and such, but not NEARLY enough and there are just not enough women to fill all of those rolls.

I think the feeling of having your life together is a myth. My dad checked all the boxes in life. I'm a conservative and I'm happily single millennial. Every relationship I've had just ended up being an expensive power struggle between the two of us. Since I decided to be single I have a bigger house, I earn more money, and I'm happier than when I was in a relationship. I'm waaayyyyy better off by myself.
At 52, I own my home and property, and vehicle. No debts, and decent health. If I want sex with a female, I pay for it. My happiness and security would not have been possible with a female constantly in my life. Best of luck to the rest of ya, though!

While I won't complain, I'm a Gen Z male and I see no problems at all with the women of my generation. They're not as unfaithful and lazy as everyone thinks, and the men are also hardworking and know to be different to them. While we both have our advantages and disadvantages, some Gen Z need a partner and others don't, just like the older generations. I've spent lots of time around my elders, and all of us agree that all generations are equally hard-working, and have lots to improve on. We've had different experiences and events in life, but we still learned the same skills one way or another

I think when the question is asked people think “Do you need a man to pay the rent, buy food, etc..” and the answer to that is absolutely not. But there is the problem…men are viewed as ATM machines.
No one person has all the skills, all the knowledge, all the answers. Men and women are compliments of each other; where one is weak the other is strong. I wonder how many of these interviewees have any practical skills when the electricity shuts down.

Society is doomed in the west. The financial economy is weakening year after year and its more expensive to live which means about 90% of the men in society will take alot longer to reach financial sucess and stabilty where they feel comfortable to settle and have a family. Most women in society believe it's less risky chasing the 10% of financial successful men through out there 20's and 30's instead of building a future with a man from scratch. Now, many older women in society are single chasing commitment and have a career moaning on tik tok about paying all the bills alone and life isnt fair. Divorce and relationships with children haven't been fair for men for a very long time and now many women in society will get a taste of loneliness and living in hardship alone with no one to support them. Yes, they both need each other. Men's first need from women is emotional. Somehow your woman makes everything worthwhile. I feel 10 feet tall when I'm with her. Women often need their man to take care of them and men want to take care of their woman.
One advantage of women is that they are far more in tune with how people feel and their motivations. It's like I'm watching TV with "rabbit ears" and they are watching it with a huge radar dish on the roof. If that analogy isn't meaningful to you, a modern equivalent would be "I am looking at the night sky with a pair of opera glasses and women are using the James Webb Space Telescope (said to be 100 times more powerful than Hubble)." Some men ignore such advice and comments from women because they are clueless as to where it comes from. I treat as coming from an oracle in touch with God. I don't have to know how she does it, I just know it is going to be correct.
Men tend to be more mechanically inclined than women. Something stops working.

Me: I immediately start taking it apart to see if the problem is something simple that I can fix. Frequently I can but not always.
It's that women should be totally unmechanical. A woman should know how to change a tire in case she gets a flat when she is alone in the middle of nowhere. But don't expect me to sit there and watch you do it. There is something wrong with a man who would sit there and watch his wife change a tire instead of doing it himself and making sure everything is fine with his woman.
Men also tend to have a better sense of space. This is easily noticeable when packing the car's trunk. I can get a lot more into the trunk than she can. Don't bother trying to help; you'll only make it worse. When going away for a weekend, I'll pack one small suitcase. She'll pack three huge ones. I could fit my entire wardrobe in those. You know we are coming back. :-) I'm not sure why this is the case. Perhaps its that Y chromosome -- right next to the genes that say you will hog the remote and not stop to ask for directions. :-)
Scans show that differences between men and women's brains exist even before birth. Also, there has been a division of labor between men and women that has existed for uncounted 10s of thousands of years. You are not going to suddenly change the evolutionary effects of that simply because you like a theory as to how men and women should be. Ask any parent who an infant prefers to change and feed them. Daddy will do but they all prefer mommy. Yet, people on the left do not know this simple fact. There was a study reported in Time magazine that concluded the one person that infants prefer above all else is their mother. People in Time magazine were incredulous saying "It's hard to believe that only one person would be preferred" and other similar things. No, what's hard to believe is that you people are so ignorant that you don't already know that.
If men and women could just stay away from each other total equity could be achieved in a short time, although there would be no one around to celebrate.

my answer is, men and woman need each other to further humanity, without each other life would no longer exist. aside from that men can and have to do everything. we can feed ourselves by cooking and fast food, or hunting and gathering, we can protect ourselves, we can build and maintain things, we can lift/move heavy objects, we have always been tasked to do any and everything. now the woman side. they can feed themselves, they can cook or order fast food, but hunting and gathering may be harder for them unless they do it already. they can protect themselves with a weapon, but its not as easy physically (but without men woman have an easier task. for men its the same difficulty). they would need to become stronger than they are currently to be able to lift/move heavy things, so they dont "NEED" us for that but they kinda still do. they wont be stronger than us but they can become stronger than themselves to make lifting easier. life for woman would be vastly harder without men then life would be for men without woman. that being said we still absolutely DO need each other. we are meant to complete one another. what men lack woman have, and what woman lack men have. there is a level of support that we get from each other that we can only get from each other and even though men know we dont _NEED_ woman, we really do want and need them in our lives.

Long answer: Since we're just starting to be adults, we want to go slow and put our contribution into the workforce first: We prefer to finish high school/college, and then get a stable job and income first. For future relationships and marriage, the plan is usually to start and strengthen relationships in high school and college, and then carry them when we graduate. I also want to say that because we grew up with social media, people think we don't know how to be social or respectful, but what you see on social media represents hardly any Gen Z people: we hate tiktok and self-proclaimed influencers as much as the other generations. We also aren't as lazy as people seem, we're just still learning about how to manage wealth. We may or may not live similar lives as the Baby Boomers once we're old, but we're always eager to listen to the elders on tips about how to manage wealth and a stable lifestyle, and we get tons of advice at schools and with family
Short answer: Some people need the other gender and others don't, but for the youngest generation, we feel like there are other concerns bigger than marriage, such as employment and graduation

I like PragerU and these walk abouts but I think the question is too broad. What context is he referring to? The home, the church, wider society? Women should not need to depend on men to pay their bills as single women. Men should not need a woman to take care of them. In that case, the answer is no. But if the guy means in terms of the roles men and women play, then yes we need each other.

We don’t need each other but having each other has many benefits. I haven’t been in many relationships mainly do to my disorders and for the most part been on my own and fine with it. However like with my last relationship even though it was short I felt happier at the time. After having that filling and after have forgotten it before I’ve been missing it. Things have been getting worse for me with my disorders and I’ve been getting more isolated. So having each other can be good for your health.

My answer would’ve been we need and desire companionship. It doesn’t have to be from a specific gender and it doesn’t have to be romantic in anyway. There are people who don’t have partners and just desire friendship or find companionship in pets. There are also a lot benefits from having companionship as social beings.

It's why we have the term "settling down." among other tropes. I think this came from data analyzing female-to-male populations and their effects or it could be an observation from a historian. I'll edit this reply if I ever remember where it came from.

Additionally, the sum total of human knowledge and culture is incomplete without the contributions of both sexes. Attempting to treat men and women as having no relation to each other as if between an inanimate object and a random life form makes absolutely no logical, scientific, cultural, or ANY other form of sense. And attempting to sever 50% of the population's perspectives and contributions, regardless of which half we're talking about, would be suicide for us as a species to all of the above areas.

A gay guy or a lesbian woman don’t need the other in their life, as for children they can adopt because the modern world.
What a person needs is someone in their life that can do the things they cannot. My wife builds everything in our house and cleans up. I cook everything and have a job to support us financially. I don’t need a woman I need my other half the one who does what I can’t and she needs her other half that does what she can’t.
