DAMN that photo comparison tho! Galaxy 10.1 takes much better pictures but cameras arent a huge deal breaker in a tablet, I get that. i have the 10.1 and been thinking of upgrading to something else.
My 10.1 has pretty good battery life, smooth graphics, but it can chug pretty hard sometimes.
I don't have the Tab A8 yet but surely Netflix in HD will be in place shortly. Other reviews stated it has widevine level 1 so Netflix in HD is possible

I just bought a new a8 last week. It takes 45 seconds to turn on every time. Is that normal? My 10.1 does not take that long.
Thank you so much , in my experience tab10.1 , 2019 is a solid and well built tablet but ram 2 version of this tablet is sluggish and can not jump from one media to another one easily or fluently.

I had a Tab a 10.1 and it's desperately slow since the first day. It takes at least 1min to open and load a single app. Is this one (A8) better?
Slightly. You may want to go up to s6 lite or tab p11 pro gen 2 that I just did a video on
Been using the tab a 10.1 since 2019. The screen is haphazardly glued to the body and the glue started wearing out this year. Called customer service, they said it's no longer covered by warranty.
So yeah. The screen comes off of the body, but the device is otherwise working okay.

Same, just bought a 360-degree case back in January 2022 to make up for this problem. 🥹 Had this tablet since February 2, 2020.
I don’t even know why they bother with rear facing cameras on these things. Never once used it on mine
I just returned the A8. The screen is dim. I tried everything. Even on the brightest setting it just was so dim. I liked everything else on it.
Yes even A7 has better screen unfortunately
I got mine today for my 5 year old upgrade from tab a 10.1. Not its better pic but full charge on a8 only goy 4 hours. Tut tut.

I'd probably go iPad, but if you wait a week or two the new iPad 10th gen might be coming which would make older ones cheaper hopefully

The tab a 2019 has been a pretty robust tablet, it served me well, but it's lifespan has now reached 4 years and because of rough use, it's starting to fail. It's getting slower, the batterylife is getting worse and those symptoms started occurring 3 months ago. This tablet was amazing. But it needs to retire.
Going to get my tab a8 cellular next week.

Don't buy the A8. The screen is very dimmed. I liked the tablet and tried everything to fix it. Even on full brightness it was dim👎
My screen is kind of washed out, the colors don't pop like my 10.1 did.
The colors of the A 10.1 are so much better and warmer then the A8. Bought the A8 as the 10.1 was getting slower now but its a big regret buy now... watching things streams movies etc on 10.1 feels so much better cos of the color. Better off buying something else when it comes to color... A8 is a dissapointment for me

I had the A8. Returned it due to the picture is really dim, even on the brightest setting. I liked everything else on it. I'm thinking of the Samsung Fe 7. By reviews the screen is brighter.
