3:20 they did have horses but they weren’t super useful for combat in thickly forested areas which is where they mostly resided so they didn’t use cavalry that much in the period.
I've had a couple of experiences where I played Vigour & Ardour but wiped out the enemy unit so there was no withdrawal, and I had to keep the fatigue.
