Our schedule ain’t nothing we ain’t seen before. Same teams, some of them just have a higher preseason ranking. Don’t mean a thing. Still gotta put the pads on and they still have to play us. A lot of them have to bring their ass to the swamp too.
Ya it's just a tiny bit harder florida and tn always have the hardest schedules in the country

Tennessee is in a great spot and should be a playoff team. Nico is a difference maker! Defense is vastly better! WR room is deep!
only weakness is secondary...but they could and should be better than last year.
People arent talking about Cam Seldon, he's a blazer at 225 Ibs, him and Dylan Sampson are a dynamic duo! Id send them both on wheel/fly routes! If Jaylen Hyatt could fly down the field and get wide open then so could the two of them!
Cam Seldon more than likely out till October he had shoulder surgery
Peyton Lewis has a chance to be very special. Should have been a 5 star.
No Olympics for Harbor. Harbor and Tim Hall, South Carolina’s track and field head coach, came to a mutual decision for Harbor to forgo the trials and a chance to represent his country in the 2024 Olympics in Paris because his chances of qualifying were a “long shot.”
Nico brraking containment is the x factor this season. There are some other things. Everyone is right about Bru, and thats because we saw how he plays. And we know exactly how that opens up go routes and those previously mentioned scrambles. Exactly why sampson going over 1ooo is one of my bets on being a major contender. Guess it doesnt hurt nico is accurate and those crossing routes are possible again. If huepel uses what he has the right way, then this is going to be a really really good season.....and thats only after we beat OU and UF
Been saying for awhile Florida will surprise some. They have talent and I think it starts in week-3 when they beat soundly aTm.

Florida won't surprise anyone if they don't make it to a Bowl Game. Let's not forget that Florida hasn't won a Bowl Game since 2019

The fact that Saban has an office in the stadium, tells me he isn't going to let Bama fall to the wayside year one after his "retirement".
This offense has to go vertical with Nico right off the bat and I think they will trust him to do so. It should be better than the 22 offense. Respect to Hyatt but there are a couple of guys on this team just as fast as he was if not faster.. and Nico is supposed to be a better passer than Hooker who was a dual style QB. Both Nico and Hooker are dual threats but different style QB's. This should equal some big production on offense verses last year. I'm impressed that thye improved Joe as much as they did to 9 wins in a season but from a Tempo Spread point of need for a QB, Joe was never ideal for that style of offense. Coming out of HS with accuracy in the 46% range and getting a QB like that out of the portal amounted to a year setback in 23 compared to what it could have been.
If we go 7-5 that’s pretty damn good for a 3rd year coach that took over a mess of a program with this schedule. Recruiting will improve and they will come lol players will be flocking to Gainesville if we can be 7-5 or even 8-4 We will definitely be better on defense I know that for sure!! 🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊🧡💙🧡💙🧡💙
I think the staff made some huge gaffs with Joe and we have to look at it this way. They didn't scheme him to throw very vertical at all. By the time the Bama game, they had no choice but to let him loose a bit and it went well for the first half, 20-7 lead on Bama. But not going vertical with him or too conservative for him vertically starting at the beginning of the season was a huge gaff by this staff. Joe could only get so much better by limiting him from doing this. "We will let Joe do what he does best". Mistake. Every QB in their first full start under this offense has to go vertical or the offense suffers and you do even worth added the injuries. With the Patriots now, Joe is making vertical look routine and many think looks better than Drake Maye.
As a Tennessee fan I don’t think we will go 10-2. Nico has only played one game. He’s still young.
Well go 10-2 or 11-1 we simpily have to easy of a schedule and to much talent to be the same as last year
This guy must have missed the last month of recruiting news. Deboer has been on fire pushing Bama up for a chance to compete for the number 1 class AGAIN. Meanwhile Auburn is down around 13
To bust through their ceiling, Tennessee can’t keep finishing #7 in the conference in recruiting. Being around 11 through 14 in the country is good, but not so much when six SEC teams are ahead of you every year. Looks like the same scenario again in the 2025 cycle.
I agree completely. The one hope is the transfer portal now days but even still, they need better recruiting
You are correct when you only look at numbers. Tennessee is bringing in the right guys. Went 11-2 and beat Saban with half the talent this years team has. Coaching and development is what really matters. Especially with top 15 classes
