Funny, I’m also into darker fragrances this summer…rose is on my radar also! Wearing a lot of Mugler Alien Fusion loving this fruity dark jasmine. Still wanting to try rose Extase from Nina ricci
An affordale one I wear in summer (that a lot of people would wear in the fall) is Swiss Arabian Casablanca. At first it's a bit too much apple juice, but the drydown with the oud note in the heat is just beautiful, and I pretty much only wear it in summer and early fall. I also wear Rose Extase only in the summer. I love the drydown in the summer.
Hi Josephine. I have been wearing Marcel Roschas perfumes. I like them all. I also have been wearing a musk perfume by Alyssa Ashley that you might like. It comes as an oil concentrate and a spray cologne bottle which I purchased lately, but when I was younger, I had a small bottle of the oil to dab on. Take Care.
Great video diary. I love that you took risks and just wore your stronger stuff. This week the weather in London has been so mixed like you I've been reaching for non-florals.
What have I been wearing this week? Hmm.. White Woods by Clean, Trussardi Donna (still trying to figure out what I think of that one) and Cerruti 1881 are the ones I have been wearing the most ☺️
I’ve currently been wearing Delina by Parfums de Marly or Dior Addict. Addict is typically described as a winter fragrance but i love it for all seasons. 😊
Mancera is just sooooo gorgeaus!!! 💖💜💛. I love holidays from them. Otherwise I wear a lot of other strong scents recently. Baccarat dupes, sometimes even Dior hypnotic
I’ve been wearing Ariana Grande’s new perfume God is a Women.. it’s sooo good for everyday. My office mate, boyfriend and daughter love it. Also been wearing Rihanna Rebel Fleur for evening events or dates. Both cheaper options to smell divine!
The John Varvatos Vintage , is on my list as well as the Roses Musk, and Mancera Lemon Mint. I have been wearing warmer, more comforting fragrances as well. I’m going back and forth from Love Chloe, to Baccarat Rouge 540. As always great review💕
I have been wanted to ask you this question, How do you get away with wearing perfume working at the hospital? You mentioned you were by a patient room…I work in health care we were told absolutely NO fragrances! But I still smell fragrances on people at work, so I started wearing by light perfumes just to be on the safe side although I don’t work around patients. I enjoy watching you, such a beautiful classy lady!
Ok I love these choices but I should tell you that 'Sab'ha wa Oud" translates to "prayer beads (called Sibhah) and Oud" literally the two items that come in the box 😂 I have never tried wearing oud in the summer but I grew up in North Africa and thats standard year round to wear oud in our 40 degrees celcius weather. I will experiment with a touch of oud oil mixed with the freshies.
Hi Josephine - if you’re in CA - I’m organizing a FragCom Meet and Greet in DTLA - August 28 - let me know if you have an interest in attending and I’ll send you the invite
I don’t think that’s a proper fragrance for a hospital environment and seen so many people so sick because someone decides to come in the room with fragrance just a small amount of fragrance can bring people to chemotherapy or certain types of asthma into almost in to a Health crisis so my favorite thing ivory soap I even go with no perfume at work just a thought you’re very beautiful
its so funny when we dont like a fragrance at first and then end up loving it after a while. Happens a lot to me. lol
I should know this, right?
And I thought I was the only person having weird oud cravings in the summer heat...😄 Thanks for this vid!
You’re welcome!
@@NotesFromJosephine Omg I thought I was the only one with the rose extease.
I gotta say, I don't care about seasons, temperatures, or occasions. I pick up what I feel like wearing, and wear it! Great vid, Josephine! :-)
I agree - thanks for stopping by!
Very great video
I'm glad you found a way to make Rose Extase work!
Me too - finally!
Thank you everyone for making her hit 3K
Thanks cute nephew - love ya!
Hi Josephine. I enjoy your videos. You are pretty and charming as ever.😊
How kind - thank you!

You might really like it!
I love your videos so much! Today I wore Lalique Le Parfum. Also craving oud, thanks for the inspiration!
You’re so welcome!
Love your channel. I wish more men shared your amazingly emotional explanation of fragrances. Men like me would love it. Big fan of yours!
I love that you wear oud in the heat, we do here as well. I love the dreamer to wear to sleep
Dreamer is great for sleeping!
Ugh I really want that Rihanah!😩 I'm on a no buy tho lol... thank you for sharing those affordable gems.
Your time will come!
Sab’ha Wa Oud is my best blind buy of the year!!! It’s amazing
Yay - I love it!
Versace Dreamer smells beautiful on my hubby. I occasionally wear it too or spray our pillows with it 😂❤️
Great idea!
I grabbed Si Fiori secondhand here in Holland last week, its lovely!!
It is lovely!
I've been wearing Vanilla Bourbon (Mixbar) from Target and it smells delicious!!!
I love this, too.
Do you know of any other ones that smell good because I couldn't find anymore that smelled really good.

Glad you enjoyed!

I’m into rose perfumes and now i regret ever letting go of that fleur fatale when I saw it at the store😅
It’s quite nice!

Our policy states no strong perfumes so I try to be careful and push the boundaries every now and then.
@@NotesFromJosephine thank you.
Love your choices! Freshies are not my style.
Thanks!
Waiting for new videos :) ❤️🧡💚🤍

Awesome - thanks for letting me know!
Have you tried any of the other John Varvatos perfumes? I really like them all.
Many - and I like them too!
I've been wearing Jimmy Choo EDT and CK Eternity Now. Just ordered Nero Assoluto and BR Black Platinum because I am craving something non-summery 😂
I love non-summery perfumes!
You should write ✍️ your own books the way you describe your perfumes is quite captivating. ❤
