Inverted Tang With Mammoth Tooth - Feather Damascus

In today's video I present a feather damascus with a fossilized mammoth molar handle.
This time I had a small problem with the filming and I ended up losing two parts of the video, both in the forging stage, but luckily I was able to complete it with excerpts from another video of a similar knife.
It is a model with a blade inspired by Gaucho knives, with an inverted tang, that is, horizontal, and the splints used at the bottom and top instead of sideways. The material of the handle is fossilized mammoth teeth, coming from Siberia.
A practical and very elegant model.

No vídeo de hoje apresento um damascus pluma com empunhadura em molar de mamute fossilizado.
Dessa vez tive um pequeno problema na filmagem e acabei perdendo duas partes do vídeo, ambas na etapa de forjamento, mas por sorte pude completá-lo com trechos de outro vídeo de uma faca parecida.
Ela é um modelo com lâmina inspirada nas facas gaúchas, com espiga invertida, ou seja, na horizontal, e as talas usadas na parte inferior e superior ao invés de lateralizadas. O material da empunhadura é dente de mamute fossilizad, vindo da Sibéria.
Um modelo prático e muito elegante.

No doubt skilled worksmanship. But it's really sad how many knife smiths don't even know the difference between forge welded and real true authentic Damascus.
It's not a question of knowing or not knowing, but of being able to communicate with people. Here in Brazil, for example, the overwhelming majority of people don't even know that legitimate damascus steel exists, we use this term for normally forged patterns. I know the difference, but I'm not going to harm my engagement and earnings because other people don't know...😉
