The 2nd half of Mark and Jisung was probably the best performance wise I've seen in the Mix Max duo!! I didn't quit like the song but their dancing skills are on another level!! I'm starting to think Mark is not human at this point, cause when does he rest???

I watched all of the Mix & Max performances and Mark and Jisung's was FIRE 🔥. The answer of when Mark rests is NEVER!!!!! Or at least, he just takes catnaps at this point I think.
I have to say this. Mark and jisung performance is probably one of the best studio choom performances ever in terms of everything. The concept, the dancing, the expressions, the styling. I was really left speechless.
I also love the fact that they asked Jisung and Jisung asked Mark to do it with him 😊.
I really enjoyed Mark and Jisung’s interpretation! I agree, it should have been longer.
Jisung is underestimated main dancer.......and probably mark and jisung have proved their ability to battle any dancer....technicality wise and performance wise
Not gonna lie the jisung and mark one felt so short to me as well😅😅
I must hv been too invested. I just loved the facial expressions. Especially for the robot part, jisung didn't look like he was even breathing towards the end but that could just be me.
I just love how different their dance styles are but yet somehow it works together😊
Yeonjun in fact said in a interview for studio choom that Hueningkai is the member closest to the way he dances and that Kai’s strength are his facial expressions, so he had no worries

Mark and Jisung! Just OMG! Stunning!!!
I love how everything in Mark and Jisung's piece was in service to the story. The music chosen was perfect to showcase especially Jisung's background and it's something that they aren't going to have the opportunity to do in a larger NCT context so they revelled in it here. The desperation to survive as the human characters and the cold beautiful precision of the AI characters after their "death" was so beautifully expressed by the texture of the movement, the facial expressions, the costuming, the lighting and the hair and makeup. That is a complete work of ART and they are amazing storytellers!
(I understand what you mean about Mark's posture especially in solo moments where he is in his own style however whenever I pause this video (and I have paused it throughout multiple times) the pictures he makes are just exquisite. Any of my screenshots of the two of them could be blown up into a poster to advertise an upcoming show from a dance company....
I watched these myself and Yeonjun is such a great dancer. He's been my favorite since TXT debuted. I agree HeuningKai isn't as clean with his movements, but I was impressed bc he still held his own beside him. Now what I'll say about the second video, Mark has definitely developed his own style of dancing and although he's not as hard-hitting & clean as Jisung, he's just as energetic! So great to see their evolution as artists.
I'm pretty sure in like 20 years we'll find out that Mark is in fact twins, if not triplets, because how tf could he be in every group, every collab stage...that or time travel. 🤣🤣
my dream is to manage my life the same as Mark manages his schedule
Your take on Hueningkai is interesting cause he was really excited and motivated to try this dance style with Yeonjun because it's a new side to him that he hasn't been able to show. I think we're all aware that Yeonjun is on another level, but I also think Hueningkai should be praised for his performance here. Personally this is the most confident I've ever seen him perform (here and in the Frost performance video) He has so much charisma and his expresiones are on point.
I saw another youtuber who does kpop analyses mention how hueningkai extends his neck a bit too much and it makes his moves not look as clean and pretty (also hurts his neck) so maybe that's something he could work on. In this performance I definitely felt like his moves looked awkward next to yeonjun.
Agreed!! They both are amazing performers and i personally loved seeing him paired with Yeonjun! Kai def deserves more credit❤️ his frost performance was amazing and kills the psycho/ crazy vibes
so mark style hip hop jisung is popping and in here one dancing in more muscular style the other more fluid and showing more emotion , they are portraying different emotion even in their ai state

Ever since I saw NCT U's debut music video, my description of Mark has been, "he boogies." Because I learned of NCT through Ten's participation in the 'Hit the Floor' competition series, I expected to watch Ten closely, but Mark kept stealing my eyes.

Now, I really enjoy watching Jisung dance. Always have. My description of him is "drum kit." He hits every percussive sound and is smooth about it. There's a Street Man Fighter dance challenge video viewing of him and Shotaro side by side. I thought I'd mainly watch Shotaro, but no, my eyes stayed on Jisung. Love how he kicked the drum at the end.

I know right! His such a versatile dancer... And he keeps surprising me many times with his dancing capabilities that I just discovered thanks to his tiktok dance challenge videos. His footwork in "Blue Check" tiktok dance challenge, his Isolation in "unntouchable", his musicality in "Saebbang", and his implosive dance style in "smoke" tiktok dance challenge. I know theres more that Jisung havent shown to us and as his fan I cant wait to see him grow as a dancer and an artist.
one personal thing for me is when choom creates these specific duo projects it would be cool for them to play more w the DUO aspect. there is so much room for contact/ partnerwork in the concepts/ choreo - and yeah it takes time to figure out, especially when it involves shifting the responsibility for your body weight to someone else, but it makes for so much good chemistry and trust and genuinely ingenious performance. it doesnt fit every concept and duo, and maybe with these that wasnt the point here (plus it may just be my own preference as a contemp dancer lol) but i find that especially with video - you can captivate an audience w out staring at the camera the whole time. its awesome to see two dancers' attention on EACH OTHER too. in mark and jisungs their movement quality was beautiful esp for the latter half but it felt like the duo aspect didnt get anywhere. or idk i didnt feel it
I think what gives Kai alil more disadvantage is he’s bow legged so some moves are harder to do. But with that being said he still does a great job!
Yeahh for sure. Vernon is very much bow legged too but he has found his own style and is one of the stronger dancers in svt.
@@Koko3opit might just me but it feels like Kai was better dancer at debut/ pre debut since then his body changed so much / puberty he got taller & his body changed a lot & with ppl mentioning his disadvantage with body type
This just me speculating…he might still feel awkward in his body especially in dancing since this in not the body he trained in especially that hybe tricked him into dancing like suga
Cuz he mentioned this but in singing before puberty he could hit every note

@@meli-d3637 its not necessarily a BAD bad thing but it can be little unflattering sometimes when he does certain dance movements but like the reactor said in the video he does make it work and its one of the reasons why his dancing feels unique

I dunno if it’s gonna sound just me making excuses for him but I think Hyuka has always had an issue with his spine? Hence his dancing is sometimes affected by that, especially with dance moves requiring him to go lower or something, because with Sugar Rush Ride it’s quite evident that he’s unable to go as low as the others during the chorus part and like days before that comeback the members have stated he has some spine issues.
Anyways despite being a MOA I definitely enjoyed Mark and Jisung’s performance more than my tubatu babies (honestly wanted a newer style of choreo that would fit them more and not something so storyline-heavy).
Hyuka's spine is totally fine ,he once had an injury before sugar rush ride but he overcome that and also had a solo dance performance on their latest world tour ,act sweet mirage
He is really good at what he is doing right now ,he may not be on the same level as yeonjun, also yeonjun's body is completely different from kai's ,so there may be some difference but still they both executed it well

@@asiyan3190 yeah I was able to attend their last concert for act sweet mirage here in PH last August 13th, and saw his solo live and he is an amazing dancer 😍
Please don’t take my comment negatively, I just wanted to point out a possible reason as to why his dancing can sometimes be limited.
Yeonjun training period is 5 yrs
Huening Kai training period 2 yrs
You see now what I meant by main dancer and other one tries his best 😂 For txt, i would love to see Beomgyu with Yeonjun, i liked his performance in Sugar Rush Ride and feel like he improved a lot. For Dreamies I think the concept suits Mark well, the robot part mainly. Jisung slayed. Low key wanna see Renjun do this concept and maybe Jaemin?

for me NCT lacks expression...you really can't connect youre just watching 2 good dancers showing a dance moves but doesn't know what they're dancing...While TXT you can feel every beat and moves of it not predictable which makes it more excitable.
