Lovely film. I was luck enough to visit New Zealand in 1992 for 4 weeks and loved the country, What a fantastic house your friend has overlooking the Bay of Islands.
Welcome to NZ once more, we have just started following you both and love your catamaran! Enjoy sailing in NZ with the challenging weather, the remoteness, raw beauty and little surprises along the way. As New Zealanders and new sailing/cruisers of 5 years we have seen a different side of our country via water and love every minute we are onboard. Thanks for sharing your stories.
I just found your channel, I love it so does my wife, we're in the market for a catamaran and an Outremer at that we have a four-year wait though so we just have to carry on with our current boat. Hope to see more of your amazing content, keep up the good work.
With so many slots sold you might get lucky and get an earlier one. Especially if you’re aiming at the less popular ones in the European fall or winter
Thanks guys. Seeing this video reminded me of how cold NZ summers are. Beautiful country, beautiful people, a lot of crap weather 😁. Keep the awesome videos coming
@@taniac1860 Kek...C'mon Kiwi m8, NZ doesn't get a real summer. This video reminds me of the 6 summers I spent at Mt Maunganui. The last summer's 16* average temp was enough for me to move to Queensland...lowering NZ's IQ in the process 🤣
Great to see my home country again.. I have t been home to New Zealand in over three years (Covid and other reasons) unfortunately it’s spring and there for a lot of unsettled weather.
Kia ora! Haere mai, welcome to Aotearoa :) I've loved catching up with your channel. I'm on the Coromandel with an FP. If you're down this way and want to check out some local spots by boat or land let me know!! :)
Spring in NZ can be challenging 😄 can expect any and all type of weather, even on the same day, but will get better and better 👍😄 Looks like you’re having a great time though 👍
where in Whangarei are you? my friend Renate could say hi she has much local knowledge in case you need any. (she was the first german woman firefighter in the 80's)
No pictures allowed here in the comments but a Tokyo Mule in 8 in Whangarei costs 18 dollars (nzd). Really hope this will help you in your decision to come over or not
New Zealand most beautiful place on the earth thanks for your video.
Prachtig! Leuk om jullie ontmoet te hebben op de bruiloft!
Perfect temperatures and breathtaking scenery. Only the very lucky or cashed up need apply 👈
Hello darlings from Greatcircle... I hope to see you all if a stop in Auckland is on the cards. I am a huge fan of Greatcircle xox.

It’s really fantastic even with 5 rooms and a pool one level down and it might even be for sale….
Beautiful images, especially from the drone. Didn’t know the weather could be like this. On pictures it’s always sunny 😀😀
Hi Crew, so many beautiful Places, great. THX for this episode!
So nice to see you guys at the dock . We are sorry we didn’t get to spend time with you and hope we see you down the track ❤
We seem to be going to Whangarei as well…

It’s not summer in New Zealand yet. The warmer weather doesn’t start until January in general, but the warmest months are February and March.

New Zealand is a beautiful place. It's on my list of places to visit.
It should!

It’s perfect, blue skies in Kerikeri now
Don't you just love the booties on the NZ Custom's Dog so it won't cause damage to the interior flooring?
i m surprised with the weather...its end of spring beginning of summer....enjoy it anyway
Especially if you compare the latitude to the northern hemisphere it’s incredibly cold and rainy, the kiwis say this is not normal for them
Running into Impi.. nice! I've been subscribed to them for longer than I I've been to you... :-)
Real pioneers!
That bay is on my list. Spend time usually more S good shots
Really nice👍
nice to see a symbol of the Portuguese sailing culture "Peter café" at the Portugal antipodes NZ
You recognized it, it’s from our west-east Atlantic crossing in 2020. Elisa hopes to get her own in 24.
It’s still spring, summer doesn’t really start until late December. All the best weather is yet to come 😊
👍

We’re alongside on the pier before the marina office upstream
😀👍👍❤
Why you don't show us the prices from the restaurants, so we could make an idea of the costs of life?

Surely Elise is your daughter???
She could be or?
She looks like she is but I haven’t picked up she was.
Are Nina and Mario not sailing together anymore?
That’s more a question for them Ron
No life jackets?in dingys.
No peanut butter? In the jar.
