I love the subtle roast Peyton makes about it being the 2nd worse thing he's ever seen next to the movie "star troopers 4" Khaz and Tom were waiting in line for in one of the previous episodes. Khaz was super bummed that he missed the movie to help Sarah get her rare danian mugic.
I think he said Zombie Troopers, either way nice catch.
Tom and Kaz were going to see Zombie Troopers 5. Which means the fourth movie was the drop off of the series.
@Michael Taylor After the match because Kazz and Tom were mad about them backing out on their deal. So when they went to Parem after the match they were betrayed by Hearing for what they did to him

If a tree falls and nobody is around to hear it did it make a sound? The answer is yes, and it was the screams of the damned.
I know I'm late to the party, but I can see the charm in the season 1 animation style. Both types of animation (The cheaper season on, and the more expensive season 2-3) can help tell the stories in this franchise.
The one thing I wish that survived was the card game itself, the mechanics are interesting, but they're expensive now. Hopefully it does come back, eventually.
You can still build decks and play with people online, completely for free.
I'm thinking of getting a starter deck, then think I'll be able to play online. If that's not needed, I'd be all ears.
I only watch season 1, okay.

Generally, I prefer the art style of S1, but the animation in S2-3 is light years ahead.
18:09 I like Peyton’s reaction here. Compared to “A Flux Too Far,” when Kaz is sucked into a vortex after loosing his scanner, he instantly decides to follow him. While here, he is very reluctant on saving the other players but knows it’s the right thing to do.
Yeah, he knows those assholes wouldn't be grateful, but he's not gonna have their deaths on his conscience.
Kudos to the writers and the VAs for making Krystella and Klay so dispicable. I have hated many characters (Joffery Baratheon, Ramsey Snow, the Kanker sisters, Dolores Umbridge, Octavian, ect), but none of them made my blood boil like these two. It takes a lot of talent to make a couple of standard bullies who do nothing more than cheat in a card game and diss other players to be more rage-inducing than sadistic rapists, murders, tortures, traitors, and terrorists, but they managed to pull it off with flying colors.
ehh i just hate klay because of how he acts an his accent is really unpleasant I don't really mind krystella the only truly bad thing she has done is help klay out a few times by telling him peoples starts which they said out loud in exchange for some free gear that's pretty fair if you ask me
To me, they're not worth the ENERGY to hate
@@MrMisterman1honestly I hated them with a passion until this episode and it was right at the end even after saving their lives they still didn't want to give them the scans I mean really there's mean and then there's just downright pathetic at this point I just want to know who hurt them to make them like this and why does it have to be everyone else's problem they need to ha their scanners confiscated and get sent to therapy sure they were digital at the time but these two nearly killed Kaz and Tom what would happen if they are in the real world and they see something they want that someone else has these 2 need help

Okay so chaotic players destroying locations in perium deserves the code masters attention. But 2 players almost “killing” Tom and Kaz doesn’t? What the heck? I know the location thing is serious don’t get me wrong but I think your players almost getting killed certainly does.
Uh yeah actually it does make sense. If the players "Die" then it's more like a video game. Just get another scanner or profile and you can port back since the player in the human world is the original. However destroying locations can have massive consequences for all of Perrim, which is a living, breathing world.

@@marthagilbert3459 in the start of season 2 a bunch of kids where destroying locations in perim to make the scans they have of it much rarer and Tom was tasked by the code masters to infiltrate the group

Tom: You got that right! We were gonna get scans of it as well until they showed up!
Kaz: Yeah! And we're sorry that we couldn't stop them!
Khybon: That's ok! In fact, Jiggerax & I were gonna make some new Phobia Mask shipments! And as a result, we sent Zalvar, Rarran, & Dardemus to fetch some from the UnderWorld Market!

Love the idea, although I feel Khybon, like most Underworlders would rather just hate all humams, they tend to be docks

Thats what makes them underworlders, even the overworlders don't like humans all that much. The only reason things are different now is because Tom saved maxxor and multiple other overworlders whereas players like kaz and clay kinda just fuck around the underworld to get more scans
@@bgill6623 I'd agree. Like Najarin said, letting a chaotic scan you comes with a lot of risks. While they technically can't hurt you in this way, they get access to your memories, how you think, all that stuff. You could sell that info to opposing tribes for more scans of non-creature things like rare battlegear, locations, mugic. In that way you could then blackmail those same creatures to getting MORE scans, a vicious thing to be done by very few players, likely even Clay and Cristella wouldn't do something like that.
In general humans are a nuisance, and should generally be avoided, maybe eaten. But they could have their uses here and there, ask H'earring

However, that would be an interesting episode. Chaotic players who intentionally code others to remove them as threats in matches.

Like I said from the previous episode, Christella and Clay are the absolute worst bullies and cheaters ever and if I was a Chaotic player I would kick the code out of them in every match against them.
You'd try to at least. As much as I hate them, they are pretty good Chaotic players when they don't have their ego out in front. Add that to the occasional cheating, and it would be pretty hard to consistently beat them.
BRING CHAOTIC BACK! We must spread the word to get back this awesome cartoon and the game itself! We can make them really great with our current technology!

I think at the end, it would have been hilarious if Sarah PRETENDED the hypnosis worked, brought Payton the burger, then plopped it on his head. Sort of like the end in that Ben 10 episode.

Great to hear about Stone Pillar though, so assumedly they DID make those card/scan trades a couple episodes ago. After Sarah did them wrong like that. Kaz must've got Drakness back and they all probably shared the Stone Pillar scan reward in the end. I hope that's how he came about going there anyway.
I mean UnderWorlders aren't exactly a friendly bunch. Klay and Krestella have more UnderWorlder contacts than most people because they're rotten to the core...like most UnderWorlders that aren't in Chaor's inner circle are.
Call me crazy, but I wonder if this Opto creature is part M'arrillian? He's the only one we've seen outside the M'arrillians themselves that can mind control both creatures and humans.
If not, then him having the same power is an insanely eerie coincidence.

Mainly because they can't prove anything or matters to anything. Code Masters probably won't enforce Ante Ups, especially when they're played in the BetaDromes and they won't punish Klay and Krestella for their ATTEMPTED MURDERS without physical evidence of them trying to kill other players which only happens in Perim were the Code Masters aren't watching without personally tracking them.

If I were a Codemaster, I would do one of two things. One: Ban both Clay and Crystella from chaotic permanently. Or two: Hack into those scanners, and have those mask scans sent to Tom and Kaz’s scanners.

Both is good. Imthor would've appeared earlier or Even better Amzen Could've Done the same. She would be secretly watch the match without warning and bam, End of the episode and we get a flash back when Kaz first fought Amzen before the events of Codemaster Crellan vs Tom

Their acceptance of wins be default is just stupid. The whole point is that they can play the game in the way they can’t if it was just a card game. Why give that up? The only people they’d actually play against would be codemasters, who neither of them are good enough to beat. If their wins just keep wracking up without playing the game, what’s the point?

that'd only work if you did it on the earth-side, do that on the perem side and your just as bad as them, and in chaotic, they could arrest you

@@alakazamlover4908They really need to regulate these things so that Chaotic players get treated equally and fairly. They were certainly up for helping Tom and Kaz catch players literally bombing Overworld locations and potentially harming or, heaven forbid, killing creatures. Not to mention threatening other players into silence or compliance by threatening to frame them for the crimes. It was getting to the point Maxxor was getting pissed and if the terrorists weren't caught, there could of been a serious crisis between the Overworld and Chaotic on a political scale.
But I guess since this is considered a minor dispute between players, the Code Masters don't feel like they need to. But they really should since Klay and Krystella almost killed Tom and Kaz.

I remember watching this show years ago on tv saturday mornings and i never asked or wondered where the hell are there parents? Like i saw their teacher who was like the only adult in the entire 1st season like who is supervising this world ridiculously strong card fighting teenagers?
I mean the kids' original bodies are in the real world. These are just digital clones, so why would there be parent supervision needed? Whatever happened, the original body would be fine.

@@the_clutch-TAGCommunity Plotwise it isn't really necessary to involve adults since most of the episodes are 100% in Chaotic/Perim and very few episodes featured Earth
