They look so beautiful. I love how u choose quality over quantity. Most nail tech just throw a set on and out the door u go. I would love to find a nail tech like u.
Catherine, I noticed you changed to the word “product” as discussed in the comments of your IG video. It wasn’t me that commented but it answered a question I had. Very sweet of you to consider changing terminology! You do such a wonderful job with Tatyana’s voiceovers. 🥰
Yes I noticed too! It wasn’t my comment either, but I agree that the word product fits a little better! I’m such a huge fan of yours, your translation skills are so good, and you have an amazing voice 💖💖
I love your videos so much! I was wondering if you could list your top nail art brushes. Like the ones you use to clean up the polish near the cuticle and ones you use for detailed nail art 💕💕🙏🏻
Wich gel do you use? Wich is the name of the White One ? Please, I don't understakd in the description below. Can you replay me with the exatly name? Thank you. I like It very much.
Thank you! This milky builder gel is from a Russian company, but if I find one that's similar on an international website I will definitely leave a link 😊
What kind of bit is that white, rounded tip bit she uses to remove prior product? I know she's mentioned porcelain in some other videos but I mean the full type/name/grit etc! I would love to upgrade the bit I'm using.
I don't understakd wich gel do you use . Can you specify me wich is because in the description below I don't find It. The White One. Please, can you replay with the exatly name of It? Excise me for my english bit I'm italian. Thank you.
She works using gel techique instead of acrylic one, and because she needs to build a proper architecture of the nail. that's what builder gels are for - base and top gels have thin, runny consistency and have different purpose
I'm so upset! My natural nails are long and I love this soft stiletto shape however the nail tech has filed the sides way too much so it starts to look very arched and not straight from the nail bed, if that makes sense. Is my only option to completely cut my nails and start over?
Perhaps Shorten them a little bit and see if that looks more balanced. I would think growing them out a little bit will enable the shape to reconfigured or realigned. It pretty interesting how the eye can be kind of tricked and appearance improved with simple effects & techniques- Particularly ones that change perspective and use depth or length to even painting designs to redirect perception. Something like putting a dark color in the middle and light on the outside will deflect ones gaze from irregular shape of them. and having very geometric lines can reorient perception of outer edges. For ex: a dark design that’s irregularly shaped- like a few bright flowers i middle with dots randomly around background or have a v/chevron shape the full length of nail which makes person recognize that angle instead of improper nail one. You could also try doing some dip powder gel nails until your nails grow out a little bit, it won’t wreck your nails as much as acrylics when u get them done/redone and after 1-2 mos or so depending on growth, or 2-3 applications, then you should eventually be able to redesign the angle . You just need to get a bit more length in the wider part of nail to grow up and to cut the improperly angled end down gradually (dont file sides until ur able to reshape entirely) and do this until you’re able to get a more pleasing shape. But I think the the dip nails may be able to add a bit of width to the nail and possibly “over line” the sides you want widened a bit so that in the mean time your nails are given some extra reinforcement. And since it does involve adding some thickness, I wonder if they can concentrate a bit more of the gel toward the end as well when they paint over the powder with polish each time it’s dipped. I’m not a nail tech but I’ve had my nails done this way several time but keep them shorter. I just know that it doesn’t take much to screw up the shape but U can often get around this by adding more length and trimming a bit offf the tip each time. Perhaps U need to round the tips a bit more until you get closer to the time when u can sharpen them out again. That actually may be another option call together - round them out and let them grow until the stilleto shape can be recreated. So that way they’re atleast a bit more of an attractive/normal shape- but I wouldn’t think you need to cut them down a whole bunch- just enough to make the ends match the sides in some attractive way. I can imagine that stiletto shape would be hard with longer nails since you have to be quite experienced and accurate About the point at which you start to narrow and the angle PLUS ensure both sides match. But she makes a good point in the video about speaking up if it doesn’t look how you want it to and to also ask them to do one nail first so you know they are envisioning the same thing you are. I’m just going to do that every time in the future because I don’t always go to the same nail tech or nail salon and have obvs had mixed results & skill levels & some just speed through it doing bare minimum w/o taking time to check their work & ensure the edges or sides are perfect/match each other. A couple times I’ve had people cut my skin or get aggressive with the clippers so that I bled without acknowledging it happened let alone apologize or make any effort to avoid aggravating that spot for the rest of the time. I think many nail techs hurry to get done and don’t care abt trying to be perfect bc they count on the fact that people don’t speak up when they make a mistake or want to question why/what the tech is doing. I am someone who will make sure I get what I’m paid for particularly when it comes to beauty services The other option is to just reshape them into a bit more of an almond shape for the time being because like I said, if they can a bit longer or a trimmed down a little then you can play with the angles and geometry of it all to make the shape look nicer. That’s sucks that it your real nails! But if they did that to all of them then they likely just weren’t experienced enough to know what to do and should have pulled out a reference picture or I asked you as they went along, did you not notice how are they looked until the end? Because it’s also possible they misunderstood what you wanted and often rely on the client to give them feedback or speak up if they’re misinterpreting their desires of the client. But an experienced nail tech would know what’s attractive and likely check in with you repeatedly if they thought your request was abnormal or Ask you to provide a picture and ensure y’all are on the same page. Maybe they realized they made the mistake on one and figured it would be better to make them all match… likely they were just not up on the trends and couldn’t envision it, but should have admitted it then looked up a reference However you probably could have done more too by giving them some feedback and raising ur concerns so that all of your nails weren’t done wrong. There’s prob several options for improving how they look until they can be reshaped- even applying some acrylic tips or silk wraps. People get ingrown toenails repaired by putting on a part of an acrylic tips so I’m sure there’s good options. And if you just got them done I would still try going back to the nail salon and talking to someone about fixing it because you might be able to get a discount since there was a misunderstanding, as long as you’re nice and maybe make some excuse like it wasn’t until you left and really started using your hands that u realized the proportions were off and that you were more focused on the painting or whatever and failed to notice that they were misshapen. By bringing it up yourself and saying since it was partly your fault could they give you a discount on whatever service they suggest to amend the look of them until you’re able to grow them out a little bit, and taking that type of approach might get you what you want but also not have to pay someone else to fix them full price.

The voice is not hers, but she definitely chose a really nice voice for her English voiceover.
The difference in the line of these nails just from getting the sides filed correctly from the line of growth is huge!!
