I loved this video, due to the fact I am in my 70's and will never see a sail, as I am land locked by 4 hours. So couch sailing is my game and traveling with you and others makes it great. Keep up this great work so us couchies can enjoy the travels with you.
Brady, you are my favorite sailor on any channel. Miss seeing your videos of you sailing and exporing. I can't say how empressed I am on who you have become from that young wippersnapper collage student who was more party animal to the full grown man who seems to handle any situation with a leval head and confidence. God bless you and yours! I will pray for you and Blues continued success and blessings.
Always nice to see you guys, I miss the older Delos party vibe in which Mr. B was a huge part of, who remembers Brady's tape tan of Delos on his chest. You guy's rock, thanks for sharing.
Just like Blue rewatched the video so she could describe it better, I'm now compelled to go back and rewatch all the videos connected to these stories. My personal opinion, we don't see enough of you on youtube, but I must say when you post something it's always top shelf stuff, the best content. Thanks for sharing the stories!
Wish I could upvote more than once. I went into this video thinking; eh, okay, but I'm not wild about long interview videos... This turned out to be the most interesting sailing video I have watched in a long time. I was, and still am, a Delos sub since episode 12 or so. Wish you guys posted a little more, but enjoy what you guys do put out. Just keep that work/film/life balance right, whatever it takes.
Sailing into those incredibly remote places was what got me interested in watching the Delos channel all those years back. Haven't been following them for a while now...
Great story telling and video illustration. To show you how immersive your videos and Delos’ are…when you were recalling the Madagascar passage my wife said, “We were there!” LOL Hoping to see you guys in Annapolis to say hi. You’ve both brought a lot of adventure and joy to our lives over the years.
Blue. You’re glowing! You both look great! I’ve been following Delos and y’all from the beginning. Proud and in awe of you both for what you’ve done with all this whatever the hell it is! Pretty awesome life if you let it ehh?
Thanks Brady, you reminded me of some real life highlights I had not thought about for a while. You owe it to yourself to find a bigger youtube presence, I think you really underestimate what you bring to/brought to the Delos project and to the sailing videosphere more generally.
Loved the stories everyone. Lots of good advice on planning, and adapting to a changing environment . That would have been Patrick, and myself, along with a few others , and Bill from calico skies who were the rum drunkards bent on firing the cannon when you drilled it out to fit the bigger sparkler…..and before that, took an hour hunting for the cannon we stashed somewhere we’d “easily remember”…. 🧠💨. It was good fun with great crew and in a great place. All the best to you and blu and the peanut!!! 🎉
Sailing for over 4 decades. Can relate to both the Indian Ocean, Chinese sea as well as English Channel in which I met with the tail of a not predicted hurricane.. 60+ knots and just foam.. for hours. the one lesson I learned: stay in deep water, know that the boat can handle a lot more than the crew. Know that once the storm is over… it’s over…. We have been hit 2x by a severe lightning storm… it was the end of all electric devices.. including a huge hole in our heat exchanger.. not a joke.. but none of it is a reason to stop sailing. Don’t let any of this stop you Because the high is well worth the lows we’ve met over the years. Every sailor will tell you “ that feeling when you switch off the engine(s)”… well worth all the hard work, money and time spent.
Yay, yay, happy day. Thanks Brady and Blue for another great video! That Madagascar passage is probably one of the most epic UA-cam sailing videos ever. I've re-watched it numerous times over the years.
@markpeter1968 Episode 93. I tried to share the link. UA-cam blocked my comment and didn't post the link. The Indian Ocean series is Delos's best, IMHO.

Good stories. Glad you’re doing this. It’s like a sailing channel that is not predictable but always entertaining. 👍

@cruisersacademy that might have been the coolest interview video ever to hit the UA-cam sailing community.
