Andrea and Matt: I wanted to let you know that you two do a picture perfect job of passing the phone/ camera back and forth between you!!! Very smooth picutes- fluid! You make it seem so easy! The way you present the RV's gives me a really good idea of space, utility and comfort! Thank you! Looks like Forest River did a great 👍 job on this motor home!
Also, I really do love this motorhome! I mean, it has EVERYTHING! Huge fridge AND pantry, huge shower AND linen closet, KING bed, very cool dinette, recliners opposite the TV, FIREPLACE, counter space, great storage, a COMBO w/d - so many great things! I don’t even mind the split kitchen, because they were able to put in so many of the things I miss in RV’s! Well done, FR! Thank you, Matt & Andrea, for everything! Oh - did y’all figure out what that odd storage bin outside was for?
I enjoy darker colors on the interior, because I am very sensitive to light. But I also agree, the drop down cabinets suck for a short person with short arms. I also think either recliner seats w/ tray tables or u-table, not both. I know, most people travel and work or with family, but not me. Just me a dog and a cat. I need practical space and some use of this layout isn’t practical or necessary even for just 2 adults. I really really liked the 4x4 class B ya’ll reviewed recently. I’m gonna need another job or a street corner to afford that, though. Lol. Last comment - I really wish RV companies did take solo travelers more in mind. We don’t all want a small class B to pee in a bucket, but we don’t need seats for 10. Building one that makes sense for a full time single person is not only very expensive but also takes too long. It’s really frustrating that being an independent single person isn’t enough anymore…even the RV industry wants everyone to have kids and big families. Ugh.
Also, my wife loves the fridge and placement in order to get the great recliners and TV placement. She said her current kitchen is several steps from stove to fridge so this is no problem! Plus this fridge doesn’t have that awful bottom freezer with plastic pull out bin!
Bought a new 2021 33DS last year. Overall, satisfied with it. Has some annoying fit and finish issues, but were fixable. About 15K miles in and everything still works as expected (knock on cheap RV wood). The two main issues: (1) The NPS 5500 generator is occasionally problematic. It has fuel pickup problems but those were solved with a complementary fuel pump upgrade. But now the filter area gets flooded with fuel when it's too hot outside and it won't refire until it cools down. It'll sometimes not output power due to overloading instead of it shutting the breakers down. (2) Our long slide had a hole in the bottom of it. Factory warranty added eight plates, but they didn't adhere the entire plate to the bottom, so the ends droop a little and hit the rollers that are on the floor. They still roll, but the slide pauses briefly when they hit the rollers and then continues. Hoping it holds up in the long run. I do wish that the three (!!!) USB ports in the cab worked when the engine isn't on or the dash isn't in accessory mode... The little door near the stove is storage. We put tea bags and coffee cups in there.
I agree with Andrea, the cabinetry needs to be a couple of shades lighter and the overhead cabinet doors should swing up, not down. Those of us who are vertically challenged would need a step stool to reach the back.
So my grumps: the cabinets under the dinette-you’re literally going to have to get down on all fours and pull stuff out to get to anything in the back. Needs to open at the top. Open down overhead cabinets. Nope. And I’m always going to grumble about recliners that don’t have a place to rest your head when you’re leaning back. Also, if you’re cooking and someone is relaxing in the recliner you are going to have one heck of a time getting to the fridge. I don’t know how to fix that but I don’t love it. LOVE the little desk. NICE shower!! Bath is super-love the w/d, the counter space, the cabinets. Love the CPAP prepped cabinet (but open down!!! UGH). Amazing storage/wardrobe. Did you check to see if there’s more storage under the bed? Also love that the cab is on the same level as the rest-no steps down. Does the passenger seat swivel? It should.
What's the strip hanging from the roof? Look at the video at 24:22 minutes to look at it. And the cabinets over the recliners should come up and not down as it is right now.
Thanks for another great review. As a Motorhome owner and as someone who recently owned a Forest River product for 5 years, I do like what they have. I like the storage on this. Cargo capacity is good. You get a lot of features and generally they are well made. The bathrooms are good, cabinets well made. We looked at this coach last summer. Nice but it didn’t work for us. We aren’t full timers but do use ours more than most. The bottom hinge cabinets, the distance from the kitchen to the pantry and fridge would drive me crazy on our extended trips. And I remember that sofa. I agree with ANDREA. Not comfortable for any period of time. Thank you again
Thank you both for the review! The three things I like were the interior colors of the cabinet and flooring, the washer and dryer combination, and the family entertainment seating arrangement, which would include the fireplace. The three things I did not like was the overhead sleeping quarters. I thought there should be a window or maybe lighter colors. I am unsure if the dining table is a u shape table. If so that is a plus. However, it appeared as though the table could not move outward. The last thing was driving cabinet. It appeared to be plain. It did not offer much. Otherwise I thought Matt and Andrea did a good job showcasing the motorhome and I could understand why it would be considered a favorite entry level motorhome.
I like this model better than ones costing twice as much. Like the cabinets, love the oven, love the kitchen sink, like the frig, love the bedroom storage and washer. Love the LR tv.
The negatives are all fixable, the positives put it way ahead. That has to be the best bathroom in an entry Class A - in fact while it isn't fancy, it's more functional than a lot of higher priced Class A bathrooms.....and a washer/dryer! Nice storage spaces too.
Like 1 - where they put the combo washer/dryer 2 - big refrigerator 3 - big stove range dislike 1 - flat thin bunk over the driver and passenger 2 - no ladder 3 - darker wood tone.
One of my favorite class A floor plans!! We almost go a Fr 3 instead of our class C. Matt you should tell everyone what the U step ladder cost. I do not like where the bunk switch is! Love the dinning room table set up. Love that the Tv and fireplace is across from the seats!! Love the dual power source refer! Love the bathroom!! This is my favorite floor plan on the class A!! Frog got it Right!! 🐸 I like the dark wood! Gonna guess you said the number 3 (31)
You guys are my absolute favorite RV reviewers, keep up the great reviews and videos guys!!!!!! Me and my wife are planning on buying a FR3 30DS in the next couple weeks!
# FR3 I believe the # is 41. Thank you Matt and Andrea for sharing this review with us. I agree with Andrea’s dislike about the dark color and the cabinets. Also the storage under the seats would be better with drawers. I like the tv and fireplace, washer dryer combo, king size bed that can be used with slides in.
I know I'm late with this but I just saw this review video. I made a "tick" mark when you said three and I counted 36 times, not counting the very last one where you spelled out the letter (three) explaining that you wouldn't say the number again. WHEW!! So, I know it's too late as I said earlier but it was fun waiting for the next "3"!! Matt, you and Andrea are awesome to watch and not just informative but entertaining as well. I'll try to keep up with all your vids from now on. Thanks guys!!
They should have made the fridge doors able to open both ways. It being so close to the fridge a person could just grab a cold drink right out of the fridge and not even have to get up. This is one of the better entry levels that I have seen. The cargo isn't bad.
I could tell from the layout you showed in the beginning how big the shower was, AND that the bathroom would have a PPP!!! The whole rig makes good use of the space. I love the way y'all absolutely ignored the screen hanging out on the dinette seat. Too funny
No storage under the bed. Cabinet storage under the bench seats is not particularly usable. I put a subwoofer in under the seat closest to the driver. The other half of that cabinet was sealed and Forest River’s amazing craftsman had left their empty Lays potato chips bags and Pepsi cans in that area creating a lovely rattle trap for me to clean up. The other cabinet storage under the second bench seat has a bunch of seat belt harnesses bolted to the floor so the space is much smaller than it appears due to that. We bought a new 2019 model and it’s been okay. Was our first motorhome but turns out they’re all built like hot cat shit. We haven’t had any issues with water thankfully but their were tons of gaps where plumbing lines and electrical lines came through the floors and mice got in and chewed up the wiring to the washer/dryer combo in the bathroom. Do a walkthrough and seal everything up yourself or wait 6 months to have the dealers fix it. The tracks to both sliding doors stripped loose from the ceiling within the first year and needed to be fixed. Most fasteners are self tappers and should be replaced with stainless bolts wherever possible. Basically you need to be a DIYer if you’re not wanting to have the thing in the shop for half the year. We fortunately have the Cummins generator which has been exceptionally reliable. Self leveling and slides have held up well. Ford F53 chassis has been reliable aside from the thermostat going out. Otherwise, like most motorhomes, tons of problems with cheap trim pieces, floor and wall paper pealing. Latches on cabinets breaking. Gas shock for door is worthless and I’ve replaced more times than I can count. I do enjoy our motorhome but every time I get it back into storage without having to fix something it’s a huge win. Shouldn’t be that way for what you pay.
LIKE THE KITCHEN THE BATHROOM THE OUTSIDE STORAGE DON’T LIKE THE MASTER BED SIZE IT NEEDS TO BE QUEEN SIZE BED THE UP DOWN CABINETS THE SMALL BUNK OVERCAB MATT AND ANDREA 45 TIMES YOU SAID 3
Hi Matt and Andrea! Glad that you guys are enjoying Texas! Gotta go, but love the slide-out, awning,slideouts-roomy(kitchen),valances👍W/D, and the 3p's🚽👍!I'll guess about 52 times!🤔Take care, guys!🎺🎺🎺🎺!
Hey guys, I'm 72yrs old Always looking forward to your newest videos..Can't really buy anything of this size of RVs but love really watching both of you anytime any where. You both make the sales so interesting and delicious for us to view.Keep up the great work both of you..Always your friends from Las Vegas NV..
Nice review. Always liked this FR3 mh. Storage in it is great. Must have been 128 3's but who is counting haha. Lastly thanks to you guys for your hard work. Because of your reviews my wife and I did get into an RV this year. Your reviews helped us make a decision on the kind of RV we wanted, i.e class A DP. Keep up the good work.
I am in love with this rv but the price kills the deal. I really wanted one for this winter but you killed it. I love the tv and fireplace combo across from the loungers. The combo washer was mind blowing. I would buy this if I could afford the payments. But my budget I’m sure won’t allow it. $700 was my cap to spend.
I disagree about your criticism of the dinette away from the kitchen- they did an AMAZING job on this model- kitchen even has counter space, bathroom is excellent (great shower, too), same for bedroom, good TV viewing but split theater seat is poor- should not have divider. When you look at other motorhomes this length you won’t see the features and livability you have here
Not a bad looking rig on the whole, but there should be an option for a lighter shade of cabinetry. Also, as you guys have said, they have to flip the cabinet doors around. Those hinges should be on the top of the opening, not the bottom The cab over need some beefing up so that it can hold more. Also a skylight or small vent over that bunk…. It feels like a cave up there and how about a flip down TV? The placement of everything else is tricky because in order to move the fridge the middle has to be rearranged. The bathroom would have to be rotated 90 degrees and maybe turned into a split bathroom so a smaller fridge could be placed next to the kitchen…. Or maybe another arrangement…. But as is, the layout is okay Another great video guys
Overall this is a nice RV. Likes include the big dinette, the storage throughout the unit and the combo washer/dryer. Dislikes are the cabinets that open downward, trying to get to the storage under the dinette and the low weight allowance on the overhead cab bed. Otherwise, nice!
This is a nice Rv. Nice entry level to have a washer/dryer combo. That is my like along with the valances. And the theater seats and the shower. Love storage but not how the doors flip down. That’s all all My likes and dislikes. Thank you Matt and Andrea for showing this Rv.
38 times is how many times I heard the #3. Love you guys to pieces! This is a wonderful MH! I agree about the upper cabinets, hard to gather things in and out. Love everything else about it!!
I'm looking for a Class A gas engine with sizeable bunks for guest. All the bunks I see can't fit an adult taller than 6 feet in them. I'm looking to buy one so that two families can travel in it towing a covered trailer with two motorcycles. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for so much and I know you're leaving Texas go to cooler weather always praying for you your safety love this vehicle for the price you can't go wrong thank you again blessings PS you're right it's a little bit too dark the walls
I am different than most. I love the dark colors and love the dark cabinets! Light colors, and particularly white, give me a horrible headache. Light is so popular nowadays. I don't get it! I just don't get it!
{pause} Does the 50 amp cord not route down instead of having out of the door? (Tricky to use that for storage if you can't secure it while plugged in) {unpause} 😁
Don’t like the flat finish on the cabinets, makes the unit look cheap inside. I agree with you on the refrigerator placement. Looks like it’s closer to the bedroom than the kitchen 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
I have counted 61 times not including the triple or the T--h-r-e-e. Regardless, thank you for the great job you both do. A quick shout out to Andrea who's wardrobe (Approved!) always looks so nice. I appreciate your extra effort.
Andrea: please tell me where you bought your dress 👗 😅 I love it! I’ve got those plants 🪴 in my backyard and would love to have that dress. Thank you love your videos 🚌
Okay Andrea and Matt... let me start with the three things I like and the three things I dislike about this review.. Just kidding, I'm new to the channel and appreciate your reviews of the different types of RVs I've watched these past few weeks. I'm in the "still on the fence" phase but in one of your recent reviews, if anything a Class B+ that you reviewed recently might suit our needs best, always looking for "bang for the buck" along with ease of use, and I'm sure I'm not alone!! Thank you both again..
Awwwwright so here we go now; tons of features on this unit .:. THE BEDROOM KICKS BUTT 👍🏽 king bed rules, lots of storage, nicely trimmed out; BIG BATHROOM 👍🏽 great shower, combo WD and a counter to fold laundry; calling it sleeps 6 eats 6 (with pedestal table) 👍🏽 seats 6 (all with a view of the TV) .:. Overhead bunk 👎🏽 is small, light weight, and it looks like I’ll need to buy a mattress topper; the cockpit area 👎🏽 looks too basic esp the console on the drivers right hand and the passenger work shelf; I’d get used to the fridge location 👎🏽 (maybe) .:. Overall the MSRP comes in at $12,735 more than the class C that I plan to buy (with the same 👍🏽 features) - props to FR for hitting the price point - It may come down to sales price / discounts .:. Thanks M/A great unit .:. #FR3 47
@@gailanncastellanos6400 the class C with a washer dryer and king bed that I know of is the Thor KW29. Coachmen Leprechaun 311 FS has the WD prep but a queen bed
Is there anyways You can donate a small RV or Sleeper Van for a disabled guy with around 20 diseases, fractured spine and bad heart with high risk for stroke? They did a full page article on Him too about a decade ago. He lives in Toronto Canada 37 times you say 3? Much Love and God Bless
the bathroom the shower number one of my likes ...size of the fridge .....king size bed,,,,dislikes cabinets a big no-no I would not buy it for the reason alone ....no outdoor kitchen and the color of the wood ....thats my 2 cents worth of bull
Hi Matt & Andrea - we’ve been following you for several months. We are looking for full timing - just for two adults. Not likely to have guests. Do you think this would work for full timing? This seemed to tick every “want” on our list!!

Me too! I love the dark colors. Not a fan of light colors, and white is the worst!
Agree to all except I need light colors inside. Dark colors hurt my eyesight.
84% right now in southern New Hampshire. Cooling to mid 70 on Friday.
Can't wait to see the 30DS review. Now that's bang for your buck!
So my grumps: the cabinets under the dinette-you’re literally going to have to get down on all fours and pull stuff out to get to anything in the back. Needs to open at the top. Decorative wood trim. In our 33DS, we ended up screwing them into the ceiling. The nails / staples they used didn't hold up well.

This is the one we looked at last week and just fell in love with it. Matt, what were you going to tell us about the overhead bunk?
The negatives are all fixable, the positives put it way ahead. That has to be the best bathroom in an entry Class A - in fact while it isn't fancy, it's more functional than a lot of higher priced Class A bathrooms.....and a washer/dryer! Nice storage spaces too.
Hidden propane connection for outside, GREAT! A real rear bumper, GREAT! Double AC!!! 52 gallon water, 80 gallon fuel !!!!! Nice rounded corner dinette, huge fridge, 2 counter-top extensions!! Saying "31" is not a "three". Huge bathroom, kingsize, wow!! AND, a combo...nice job everyone. From a 32' Vogue owner, nice.

It's ridiculous.

The fridge must be there for midnight snacks. The combo is fabulous. Like the theater seats with good TV placement. My guess is 64 3's.
Love the bathroom! Love the storage in the bedroom! Love the dinette!
Entry level? Tailgating with an SUV and a pop up tent is what I consider "entry level". Everything else is considered "moving up".
Matt, I believe you officially set a new “we do got” record in this video👍👍👍

Nice review. Always liked this FR3 mh. Storage in it is great. Must have been 128 3's but who is counting haha. Lastly thanks to you guys for your hard work.
Those hinges should be on the top of the opening, not the bottom
The cab over need some beefing up so that it can hold more.
But as is, the layout is okay
Another great video guys
The drop-down bed also lacks other modern amenities, like LED lighting and USB ports.

Throw back music Thursday. It's electric!!!
Hopefully, can you please turn the lights on? 😊
That shower is Will approved! I would like a bit lighter colors. Neat Unit.
The GOAT ! Love this will be calling on it , nice job thank you for share .
FR fix the cabinets. Folding downward they'll be broke in a day.
With the ccc maxed out, can this safely tow 5k pounds?
Thank You
That desk could be a coffee station with the outlet handy.
Please please please please tell if the floor has a step up anywhere. We absolutely hate steps.
I want to know why there isn’t a ladder on the back? What’s up with that Forest River???
Awe that Thor looks so sad 😂
Interesting.... Dislikes: smaller tires, exterior paint, no ladder (deal breaker). Likes: large pass thru storage in back, oven, king bed.
This is a nice Rv. Nice entry level to have a washer/dryer combo. That is my like along with the valances. And the theater seats and the shower. Love storage but not how the doors flip down. That’s all all
My likes and dislikes. Thank you Matt and Andrea for showing this Rv.
Don’t the cabinets opening that way to prevent things from falling out after all the movement and shifted things
Nice gas motor home. Bed is usable when slide is in, #35 for the number three.
That is a great camper with nice planning. I don't mind the fridge over there, you should see my house. Hahaha.
Im not a fan of this one but i love andrea’s dress so cute!!! Still a great video
Fun review. It's interesting to see the difference between what Forest River views as "entry level" versus East to West's view.
38 times is how many times I heard the #3. Love you guys to pieces! This is a wonderful MH! I agree about the upper cabinets, hard to gather things in and out. Love everything else about it!!
I forgot...#FR3/ 38
I'm looking for a Class A gas engine with sizeable bunks for guest. All the bunks I see can't fit an adult taller than 6 feet in them. I'm looking to buy one so that two families can travel in it towing a covered trailer with two motorcycles. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
What a great review. I believe you must've said three, 49 times. Love the FR3. Keep up the good work.
Since most are light colored last few years the most selling are light colored which is interpreted that most people prefer white/light. Not me
Yes, come up to New York! Adirondacks! There's a RV One right in Latham NY, then head on up the Northway to the best scenery in New York!
{pause} Does the 50 amp cord not route down instead of having out of the door? (Tricky to use that for storage if you can't secure it while plugged in) {unpause} 😁
All the hookup bays have openings out the bottom.
I counted 3 TRILLION 3s.
Awesome unit!
YOU LOVE TEXAS!! YOU LOVE TEXAS!!! Ok, not the heat!!!
Not counting but you guys never mention the space below the passenger workstation. That's a lot of space.
😂😂😂 you said the number 3, - (33 times) you people are brilliant and very fun to watch
Good starter unit for sure...we thank you 😊
I love this motor home!!!!!!
Freeeeeee
Class A beauty!
Thank you John! We wish you luck on your search for an RV👍👍
Love the BthRm!💓💓💓
I like it! 👍👍Thank you! Thank you!🔶️🔸️🤍🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🤍🔸️🔶️
Any chance you could review some drivable toy haulers?
#FR3 47
I'm wondering what class c has a floorplan like this one???
@@gailanncastellanos6400 the class C with a washer dryer and king bed that I know of is the Thor KW29. Coachmen Leprechaun 311 FS has the WD prep but a queen bed
Is there anyways You can donate a small RV or Sleeper Van for a disabled guy with around 20 diseases, fractured spine and bad heart with high risk for stroke?
They did a full page article on Him too about a decade ago.
He lives in Toronto Canada
37 times you say 3?
Much Love and God Bless
Great video! Quick question how much can this tow?
Hitch is 5000 lb rated
Nice RV!
I counted 23 threes!
Awwww pretty lady Andrea! 🥰🤩👏
the bathroom the shower number one of my likes ...size of the fridge .....king size bed,,,,dislikes cabinets a big no-no I would not buy it for the reason alone ....no outdoor kitchen and the color of the wood ....thats my 2 cents worth of bull
Hi Matt & Andrea - we’ve been following you for several months. We are looking for full timing - just for two adults. Not likely to have guests. Do you think this would work for full timing? This seemed to tick every “want” on our list!!
At 21:28...Matt, In this heat... you need a hanky. Love your videos!
Another PleasentVille interior but at least they break it up with patterns and textures.
#fr3 33 times
I didn't know you could get something like this for well under 200k wow.
Very good review and nice RV.
#FR3 63 total mentions of anything related to three. “Triple A” in the RV Life Pro promo. Matt said “T-H-R-E-E” at the very end of the video.
Forgot to mention how much I love your videos Matt and Andrea! #GiveMePorcelainOrGiveMeDeath
What's the price?
Always liked the fr3 layout, just not sure of the build quality and long term durability
So what can I expect to get miles per gallon with motorhome like this. Ball park figure.
