    So we are behind on the development of hypersonic weapons systems? Are we at least on the forefront of the development of directed energy weapons, force fields, space craft, or orbital defense platforms?

    It makes no sense to be replacing the B-2s with a new bomber when we cannot even afford a decent number of F-22s

      It was too bad it was not extended a few more years. Here's hoping for a quick build of the 6th gen with no comp

    We need if not the f22. A 6th generation fighter ready like yesterday. We do not have an adequate number of F22s to take on both mother Russia & China--at the same time. The only time (I think) an attempt would occur a 2 on 1 strategy in strong chance a ww3.
