Till the seal goes bad n your sausage is ruined with the water. Build it the same way but use air.

How did you make your piston? What did you use?

The piston is a 3" PVC cap. I had to turn it down slightly on the lathe to fit inside the 4" pipe. I also added two groves for o-rings.
