I am now 71 years old and I saw Yes on this very tour because I recognize their clothes. To this day I have NEVER heard a band play such difficult arrangements with such perfection. Head and shoulders the best concert I ever saw and no one was in their league and I saw every band imaginable. You don't see many bands playing YES songs because they aren't good enough musicians. By the way guys...keep up your Steely Dan journey. You won me over with your appreciation of all of their music library. Fagen and Becker were my favorites from the first time I heard "Do It Again" sometime in 1973!

One of the best videos of Yes bassist Chris Squire is from this same film, Yessongs. "Long Distance Runaround/The Fish" features Chris on "The Fish." @@melvinwomack3717 Interesting you mentioned that. I was 17 traveling through Europe with friends the summer the members of Yes were working on that album. Can’t remember the city in Switzerland, but crossed paths with Rick Wakeman. He was using a church’s amazing, century old pipe organ to record some of his parts for the “Going For The One” LP. It wasn’t a secret. Everyone in town knew Yes was there and working. There were mobile recording trucks and quite a lot of cables running between the mobiles and the church. Bought the record back in the States when it was released, and I would sit and focus on all of Rick’s work, listening to all the easily distinguishable parts from that organ. Howe of course is remarkable as well. It’s been a favorite of mine ever since. I think I still have some pics and postcards of the inside of the church somewhere. Saw them tour it, “in the round.” It’s been awhile, but I remain an avid Yes, and Classic Era music fan to this day. Just an analog kid in a digital world. I know there are still a few of us left. Awesome live version but Yes in the studio on this is worth checking out as well. They were spot on no matter when I saw them or who was in the band from the early 70s to the mid 90s. One of the top 5 Prog-Rock bands ever in my book, I got to see them, ELP, Pink Floyd, King Crimson and genesis at least a couple times times each back in the 70s in their heyday, memories of a lifetime! They sure don't make music like those bands did anymore, they will be remembered and have adherents like Mozart and Beethoven far into the future, they truly are forever music! Try Epitaph by King Crimson from In the Court of the Crimson King for more greatness. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶

Not a fan of lots of these live Yes recordings but I get the attraction that they hold for hard core Yes fans. I love Yes, but don’t live and die with them. This sounded muddy but it is what it is. Enjoyed your reaction as always and welcome back from vacation.

This is a different version than the one on Yessongs. For my money, that one blows this one away and has somewhat better audio quality as well.
