Either players don't point out enemy vics, or the tank crew are not listening and playing accordingly. Either way that's what you get, if only there was a third position in the tank that helps command while the gunner is shooting.
this remembers me a game where i told a t72 crew to not use a road cuse it was being camped by a anemy M1A1 and INF. The 72 crew proceds to go and die, at this point is just cringe to see them not following any advice.
Eye in the Sky Infantry + Light vehicles: Highly organized, use combined arms warfare, launch guerrilla attacks on enemy supply lines, make critical flanks and set up fire support bases Eye in the Sky Tanks: Drive off to random corner of the map, don't bring full crew, totally unaware of anything that isn't directly in front of them, explode
I was in a match like this on this map, full 98 man lobby, every single man on our insurgent team held the second point beyond all reason, I aided in that by hunting their mortar teams and keeping the arty off our position. I would find them from my dirt bike, snipe the mortar crew, then disappear and harass them from range. We also had the road mined up so a back cap would be very very difficult. A constant train of logi carried supplies to the second point where nearly all 98 players were engaged in an enormous gunfight. I couldn't hear callouts over all the gunfire. Our FOB held after an hour, and we were victorious.
That humvee in 16:00 was doing exactly what Marines were doing in the early days of Iraq. Like, charging machine gun nests with humvees is a time-tested tactic that only works when the crew in a humvee actually believes they can do it; audacious humvee crews are a bit like the Orks from 40k, that way.
Good lord this has to be one of the best down to the wire games I've seen in a GOOD while. Everything from the tank confusion, to the IED plays, to that last 3 vic standoff was keeping me on the edge of my seat. I was originally playing something else while listening to this but then found myself forgetting all about my game near the end. GG good sir, and well done to all the players.
That has to be the most skilled T-62 crew ever, The commander was unkillable and the situational awareness was on point, I wish I had a crew like them.
I don't know if i was laughing harder at the T-62 situation, or at Moi laughing at the T-62 situation. I legit had tears in my eyes. EDIT: 1:16:09 I reckon that was the T-62 crew LOL
I was in this match and the previous one. They were awesome battles. The drama was ridiculous. My squad lead set up FOB of point to control key bridge. Another squad lead came in and dug down the radio without asking cause he thought it wasn’t strategic. Not cool!
we're all laughing at him without realizing we have a periscope view and the Amtrac is in the T-62's blindspot behind the river's shore even with a commander he may not have seen him, and with all the chaos and being a tank himself, there's no way he would've ever heard him.
20:12 This is because, just like you always say, tank crews only have a driver and gunner - no one is in the commander's seat for Situational Awareness. Armor crews on this server are always blind!
We have a periscope view. The T-62 even with a commander would not have seen the amtrac in the river, especially as it got closer, because it was behind the riverbank from the tank's perspective.
You gotta feel for the T-62 crew at least somewhat. I'd be scared shitless too if I was in a Cold War Soviet rust bucket going up against Abrams and TOWs
I had graphic issues as well after the recent update. Biggest help was turning my game back to Driect11 instead of 12 and revisiting the sharpening setting. Hope it helps!
45:40 as an armor player, this was very satisfying. Dude is all alone in the middle of the desert running and dying with his hat kit near bluefor main just to get his vic kill dopamine rush. I hate you all lats and hats :) at least ied bikes have balls.
"Forced the Marines to dig down their own FOB, or they lost it" I have never seen an invasion layer where my team dug down our own fobs to prevent capture/ticket loss. Instead it was: -in the way -the worse of multiple spawns that the team kept spawning at anyways I wish we DID. There needs to be a proper manual somewhere with big flashing letters. Maybe they can shove the emotes where the tutorial button is, and the manual button where that store button is.
Thanks for always doing a great job of entertaining and commentating on eye in the sky. If modern war moments could have a commentary it would be you man! While modern warfare is beyond serious, terrifying, and terrible you bring the wonderful insight as well, war is brutal, and absolutely pointless.
I mean...the T62 lasted about 30 min into the match making the Marines worry about them...they distracted the opforce. With eye in the sky view...it's easy to say the t62 crew is clueless...imo. Love you Moi.
The T-62 actually did good work. He was a threat to everything bar the enemy tank, and the moment we're all laughing at him we have an elevated view that he doesn't. Not even his commander could've seen behind the riverbank.
1:16:30 what I don't understand is why the driver of the LAV was showing his ass to the enemy. You know the enemy is that way, face the armor that way!!
Omg this was AMAZING to watch! I just built myself a decent $3000 gaming pc, have only ever played on PlayStation but I absolutely hate the new warzone now and I’ve been watching a shit ton of SQUAD, Arma 3 and DCS World and I’m officially hooked and ready to start learning asap! You can only see your sides tickets. Normally on invasion you win by capturing all the points on the map. So when the marines saw that they had 20 or so tickets left they assumed that the other team still had a hundred or so. I think the starting tickets are like 200 vs 900 at the start.
It's funny how in the future tanks probably won't be a thing anymore, cuz of how effective these new types of supersonic weapons have gotten. It's crazy how those rockets could destroy literally any tank.
Yeah it works the same as like an RPG round but explodes twice once to remove the spacing armor and the last explosion is what does the job, it's quite terrifying and begs the question are tanks still all that effective anymore?
The tank is not obsolete. There is nothing that can match the firepower a tank can project. Without a weapon to kill it, a tank is a nightmarish, unstoppable killing machine.
The lack of a team push is the must frustrating part of Squad. When you have 2 squads pushing other places on map as the few playing objectives struggle, it drives me nuts!!!
That T-62 crew. The 250IQ motives behind their brilliant strategies was so next-level us mere mortals could never understand it.
they where painful to watch and i dont even play that game
May that T-62 crew live many lives so they can gain tactical awareness LMAO
Either players don't point out enemy vics, or the tank crew are not listening and playing accordingly. Either way that's what you get, if only there was a third position in the tank that helps command while the gunner is shooting.

The T-62 crew is like Florida Man; it's not dangerous because of what it can do; it's dangerous because of what it's willing to do.
Armour crew: INFANTRY ISNT HELPING!
Also Armour crew: 29:50
One of the best Eye in the Sky yet. Gameplay, storylines, comedy, this one has it all
Thomas Shelby gives off main character energy sitting on that humvee while mortar fire rains around him
he must have had plot armor XD
A little mortar fire ain't shit compared to the Somme
I mean he is Thomas mother fuckin Shelby, he lived up to the name ten fold 😂

Crispy Bacon and The Fuzz. They ought to be the hosts of an FM radio station.
Without a vehicle commander, the T-62 is a self-propelled anti-tank gun and nothing else.
Lol I was in that AAV in the river. The chatter on the way was hilarious! We got our revenge when I got on TOW. Woot woot!
