Lindy Hope, the original swing dance. It stated in the 1930's in New York City. Look up Savoy Ballroom, Whitey's Lindy Hoppers, Frankie Manning, and you''ll get the origins of the dance which is now danced all over the world and keeps evolving with new steps. The reason I like this dance so much, is that there is so much improvisation in it, and humor. It's the one social dance where you can hear people laugh on the dance floor spontaneously as they dance (the dance can be so full of humor). Learn the LIndy Hop and make so many friends!
