WOW, I just found you and I’m hooked. I’m 5’ 0” Italian, Scorpio and I DO NOT leave the house without my red lipstick ❤. I taught yoga for years, play pickleball and very active. I wear my lipstick when I workout, etc…. I look finished and polished and get compliments all the time. Oh, I’m 74 and still feel attractive.
I can't wear red lipstick but I do like to wear burgundy. I follow my own rules , at 54 I feel like I don't care what other people think lol. 😄 Thanks for the video Tracy.
You might do well with a light dusting of a blue-red. Will make your teeth look really white too :) I also like Henne - an organic brand (not a prerequisite) colour Intrigue. It works well on SO many skin tones, but, it doesn't last that long. Lastly (feeling emboldened), I love the Huda beauty lipblush - its long lasting and I find Rosy Kiss to be the most flattering shade - your lips but better.
You’re so beautiful, with love, I don’t feel like that orange red lipstick suits you. I feel a blue red would look soooo gorgeous on you. Please try and film it. Red lips showdown ❤
Agreed, Tracy is stunning, a natural beauty. The lipstick is a bit orange and maybe more neutral would be great, but probably the contrast with the very cool burgundy top she's wearing is more what you're seeing.
Great video, so many neat tips! Many of these makeup rules for women over 45 I have never heard before. For instance no red lip, no eyeliner, no mascara on lower lashes. I never stopped any of those things. Who makes up these rules?
Ladies, if you’re like me and want foundation, I love my Revlon Colorstay, I warm it up on my hand , tap it onto my skin and then blend out with my damp original beauty blender. I look waay younger and even toned when I wear foundation. Applying it with a beauty blender ensures that it’s not too thick of an application and it looks seamless. Highly recommend Revlon colorstay (I’m in Ivory 110) if you can find your shade. It is better than any other expensive foundation I’ve tried (and I’ve tested a lot).
So Agree with you on the microbladed eyebrows. Not a fan of the red lipstick on most, reminds me of Rocky Horror picture show .. but some gals can pull it off great regardless of age.
I found that dotting my eyeliner on helps it look softer and or taking a thin tiny brush and either alone or go over the eyeliner with a soft brown or soft charcoal eyeshadow! Also the powder of the eyeshadow over the eyeliner (or oily eyelids) helps it stay on all day❤❤
I'm so glad I came across your channel! I feel have a lot in common with you. I recently turned 50 and I totally understand having to change my makeup products and routine a bit. I'm not a huge makeup wearer, and LOVE the less is better or that "no makeup" make up look. I am a black woman and I still feel like your tips are so helpful. I especially can't wait to try the sunscreen/bronzer drops method...waiting on the products to ship to me. I went out the other day wearing my trusty foundation, took a look at myself later that night and thought...oh no, this won't do. Then I saw your other makeup tip video and immediately tossed my foundation in the trash...lol (it was close to being used up anyway). But, as you suggested as well, I have been putting more time into my skin care that I feel much better in my bare skin now and I feel like a tinted moisturizer would do for me to even me out a bit more. I actually rambled on more than I meant to.. lol. Looking forward to watching more of your videos!
Looks amazing! as a beauty professional with 30 years of experience, I just can say: you nail it. Practical, realistic, down to earth, affordable but yet with your personal touch.
Have you tried La Roche Posay tinted mineral sunscreen? I use that, plus a light brushing of a powder foundation. Keeps my 51-yr-old skin even-toned and still looking like skin. 😄
I was coming into the comments to say just this. I love BB cream! Foundation often looks overdone to me. My favorite is Maybelline Dream BB Fresh. It really evens out my skin and looks better than foundation on me.
Great tip to put lipstick on before blush and eyeshadow!! I’ve never thought to do this yet think it can look too much sometimes when I put it all together 🤦🏼♀️ definitely gonna try this ❤
I love red lipstick but only wear it for a night out. I try to stick to nude or mauve lip shades instead. I think as we age, we stop using to much foundation, the caked up look for instance. I like using mizon bb cream because it covers your flaws but looks natural and gives you a Dewey look. Not heavy at all!
Love this, thank you! I was looking into those foundation drops to mix in with my face sunscreen cream instead of foundation for daily work. I’m dark skinned so your bronzer trick won’t quite work for me, but this was a great reminder that less is more.
Please make a video about your skincare! I love your easy, low maintenance make-up and this approach definitely works best with great skin like yours. Thanks!
I love the point you make about not contouring (in this video and another)! Especially now that I am in my forties, I just want my cheeks to look as full and plump as they can. Contouring seems completely counter-productive.
Truly enjoyed this video. I'm 56 and need all the help I can get! Also, thank you for turning off the music when you talk. I've noticed in my old age, I become so easily distracted 😂
Awesome tips! Thank you for the video. May I suggest using your ring finger when applying makeup to the eye area, it’s the weakest finger so less tugging.
I agree with keeping thinker eyebrows. I never tried to do too much and kept them the right size over the years and saw that as I aged they didn't need to be peeled off anymore as they stop growing where we take them out. I remember Celine Dion as she was younger and had beautiful thick ones but peeled them a lot afterwards and she looks less young this way.
I always love watching you apply your face Tracy. It makes me take the time to do my face as well. Sometimes I’m in such a hurry I don’t bother… Thanks for this video ❤❤❤
Just recently found you on UA-cam. I like your videos! You keep it fun and I like your sense of humor! You look great! I learned a lot from this video. My main take from your video is to use less makeup. I ordered the RMS Uncoverup Concealer. I am in my mid 50s and looking for products for my dry skin. I am looking forward to watching more of your videos! ❤
I also stopped using foundation awhile ago, I'm in early 50s & happy w/ my skin & realized it was strange to be covering it up ! Agree that foundation can be aging. I like how you mix things in with your sunscreen, I sometimesi mix just a few drops of tinted sunscreen w/ non tinted ) .
Love all these tips and suggestions!! I personally love them and will try several. Absolutely everyone should do what they like, but anyone who is happy with their looks , wouldn’t be upset by others make regarding their looks. 😂❤
I am loving your videos! I’ve always been afraid of red lipstick thinking it won’t look good on me or that it will be messy. Thank you for the tips and I’m going to be trying it out 😊 hoping I feel more confident in red lips this time.
Hi Tracy, my name is Jennie. Nice to meet you. I’m 59 years old and I use catrice foundations.they are only $10 and they good from 6 am till midnight and there as light as air. Just FYI, have a great day.
Love your videos , you're so funny, no cakey bakey 😂 really need the make up help at min ive never worn lots of make up just the basics and I'm 47 in couple of months need to change it up a bit xxx
Hi Tracy, it’s Jennie again. I just wanted to tell you I’ve been using tret for two years and my skin is really lovely. If you find those foundations that I was telling you about drawing, just make sure to put moisture on before. Have a great day.
I didn’t buy that danessa myricks blush in Bellini during the Sephora sale because I thought it wouldn’t work for my fair/light skin and now I see how beautiful it looks………that red lip is gorgeous
A thought: Put your Super Goop sunscreen on, then mix the bronzing drops with a moisturizer. NB. Supergoop! Glowscreen SPF 40 has 2 new bronzy tones in golden hour and sunset - a bit glowy but nice under a tinted moisturizer. Also, Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Hue Drops Sun Glow Serum is nice under sunscreen. Gives a nice glow as well.
I am 50,I am 5'1",and I am also a scorpio!! (November 8th) People always ask me if I am Italian....I am not (I have a little in my background) mostly because I tend to be very animated! I really love your videos!
Tatooed or micro-bladed do look harsh. Castor oil and letting populate then shape them. Make sure to tell the waxing person not to scalpe you! I forgot to tell her and sure enough she took off too much. Great tips, Tracy.
One last thing. I LOVE mascara on my lower lashes, but I cannot find a way of preventing them from transferring to my under eye. Ill get home after a night out and look at my husband and say - dude ... why didn't you tell me I have mascara all down my face!!
You could try Wonderskin's liptints. They are great and stay on all day and come in many colors. There are some that are just a bit of color and some that are bolder, and the shades come in both cool and warm tones. I love them and I didn't know that I could look good in colored lips either. I usually use those that just give a hint of a color but even the bolder ones are fun to wear because you don't have to worry about reapplying it all day unless you eat something oily like pizza. That unfortunately removes the "stay on forever" effect...
I’m not a big rule follower either… I like Dewey finish makeup, black eyeliner and lots of mascara and had my daughter at 53. I’m 59 now and very happy to be happy just “doing me”! ❤
You look great in 45. But I have puffy eyes from allergies and I do have acne . I don't know why, and it's not from what I eat. I always wonder how do women have clear skin, no textures skin and no dark circles. I've been so over it that I've been thinking about getting filler under eye. Does anyone here get filler?
@@TracyCampoli If asked, I would have said you are 5' 10". You definitely have that Scorpio sex appeal. I wouldn't have guessed the Italian except I've never met an Italian woman who wasn't absolutely fabulous...a real dynamo!

So this idea of using a brow pencil as an eyeliner is genius. Very natural looking.

I mix Elf Halo Glow or CT Flawless Filter with a drop ( not pump) of full coverage foundation and my skin has filtered coverage… a gorgeous combo❤
