As an artist, I, too am all about thinkng Outside the Box.
Iris is my inspiration! I’ve always loved fashion and can relate to her gut feeling of liking something when shopping. When I was in middle school my peers made fun of me for wearing high waisted jeans and now it’s all the rave! I wear lobster print dresses with flamingo earrings and sequin flats and ROCK IT. I don’t care what anyone says or thinks of my clothes as long as I’m happy. Going back to school for interior design this fall after soul searching. I’m weird and proud!

If only we all had a touch of iriss’ style and colour the world would be a cheerier place, I didn’t know iris until I watched a UA-cam video of several aged ladies with style; I think there’s a little bit of iris in each one of us? I love seeing jazzy ladies it's the thrill of the hunt finding different things I know I have my own style I will never see anyone wearing what I wear I have alot of clothes and they have a history behind them I'm 68yrs old I've been going to thrift stores since I was in my teens back then they had good quality clothes just couldn't say thrift stores then my mommie taught me I have items dating back 40yrs and are timeless my mind dictates my style
Me too! We are kindred spirits! I am 64 and I have been going to thrift stores since I was a young girl, mainly out of necessity back then, but have continued it to this day because I love it! People have always said I have beautiful style! If they only knew!!!!

Good stuff 👍👍 I've been on to IRIS for a nice little while so this is a treat surprised i didn't catch this sooner but better late than never.
I met her once on the street, but did not know (then) who she was. I thought she was gushing over my twin toddlers who had just started dressing themselves. But finally I realized she was enjoying the clothes, because she said, "They're just wonderful. That's what I would do if I were young again back in the market. Little girls' fashion." At age 4, my girls had a better style sense than I did.
Living in New York I get to see so many different styles. I have to say people just walking by can put a smile on my face. Some awful some funny, sweet, and just out of this world. All entertaining. I attend a runway all day in NYC.

The world has lost a wonderful person, I am at work listening to this in the background, only she keeps making me laugh aloud "don't wave too hard", "are you deaf mute..." not very PC but funny as hell. She was so insightful from word go and just so knowing. Coming from a culture that embraces colour and does not go beige when they hit a certain age (in general) I just love(d) her. I could listen to her four hours. Also her observation of not wanting to start from the bottom is so valid. The phones are not seen as mini computers at all, a different type of inquisitive they find it then shove the phone in your face - rather than read it to you, observe it, find out more...just so much to unpick and use as ice breakers in meetings with combination of ages. The ageism in shopping and all sorts is definitley there.
Love this beautiful woman: 'I don't have any rules, I would be breaking them anyway, so it would be a waste of time.' Sounds like me. 😁 Yes, she had that 'creative thing', giving this world some juicy fashion-style.

I'm so impressed with her styles. But im wondering how shes conveniently able to carry the heavy jewellery ? Theyre of course so beautiful on her i myself love that style. I have arthritis in all joints probably thats the reason it hurts my neck when i wear the jewellery. Love all her collection!!❤
