This is the zenith of Circa and Dashew's efforts. Too bad they stopped.

with the props optimized and the up-rated Deere's she looks as if she could match speed with and surf down most any waves. I wouldn't hesitate to install even more power and bigger props since she has such large rudders and such a gentle entry. I would have chosen MAN R6's instead of the Deere 6068's since she responds so well in this SLR range.

What are those poles on the sides?
Almost look like the poles from commercial fishing.

Those booms are used for roll control anchor, handling the dinghies, and on/off loading cargo.

Such shallow waters, for miles and miles. Puget Sound is ten times deeper.

What are the motors that the Iceberg runs on John Deere or Volvo?

John Dubpernell didnt she just undergo refitting with bigger engines? I think the specs are outdated.

Steve always used Deere's. Guess it's better than Cats....6085's from Deere. I would have preferred MAN R6's myself but he wouldn't listen.

As soon as you announced that there will be no more FPB's I stopped being interested. Just forgot to unsubscribe. Fixing that now.

and he does NOT want anyone to carry on the business or reproduce the designs. Others like Todd at Black Swan are NOT the same design, but similar.

Nice interior but the outside of the boat has an ugly, unfinished, military look to it... from afar it could be mistaken for a fishing trawler.... Yuk..

It's better than those god-awful, spaceship looking, "modern" tubs! This looks like a ship is SUPPOSED to, clean, straight lines, and, all business.

That’s the whole idea. Pirates in Indonesia will leave you alone. The aluminum never needs painting. This is not a plastic condo.

This is bitch water. I want to see 30-40 foot waves. That is the type of shit we deal with on crab boats in the Bering sea. Not impressed. Not at all.
