You always meet some lovely people david you look great and the footage is amazing would love to swim in the lough you are doing fantastic keep going xx lov ya 😘 ❤️ ♥️
Thanks Gary chum, yea it was a scorcher, would of loved just to jump in. The blue Lough, I love it there must of spent at least an hour just sitting there watching everyone go by, very relaxing. 👍
Thanks Adrian, I'd a cracker day it's really relaxing up there. I don't know how many time's I've watched your vlog on Errigal just to look at what's facing me when I do it. That's on the list and I'll be hopefully heading back to Wicklow I've a few hikes down there I really want to try too. Take care chum 👍👌
Good evening David, how are you? Another good time spent watching this video, it's a good walk, superb images once again, thank you very much for sharing, I'm done watching! Laurent 🙂
Thanks Marche, I'm so glad you enjoyed watching it, it makes it all worthwhile the hike, filming and editing it all together for the positive comments, thanks again and take care. 👍
Thanks James mate, I love that side of the Mournes, mate we must of just missed each other by a day or two up that side. The tent you where talking about on your vlog I seen the kids that must of been camping there the tent bag they had was huge, I met them in the car park they told me that they where camped down there. Take care chum.
Wow ! How gorgeous is that lake 😍. Looks like a really good walk to do and options for more mileage. I've never thought to take pain killers before, but you're absolutely right!
Yea Tazmin I always bring pain killers just in case. The blue Lough hike is a belter hike and a gate way through the Mournes, the thing I love about the Mourne mountains is that there are so many starting off points, that will all eventually meet up at some point it's hard to get lost once you've hiked them a few times and get to know the mountains 😉
Great video, David, to a great spot in the Mournes - blue sky day to the Blue Lough - loved the hat, nice touch indeed, and the duel camera shots you showed. You have definitely mastered the drone and certainly gives a different perspective. I would agree with your comments on Lamigan, it's not got a proper path from the Binnian side and the ascent is never enjoyable. Enjoyed your comments about Errigal. It's on my list but I did try once with my daughter - we left Fermanagh in glorious sunshine but when we got to the car park for Errigal the wind was at 50mph, the rain was lashing, and the visibility was about 10 feet - got out of the car, and got back in 2 seconds later - so I've promised to return. I have heard about the new path, conflicting reports, so would like to see it myself. I also heard your comments on boots - I have Scarpa boots, £200 they cost, but very comfortable, no blisters, waterproof, etc..my previous boots were out of Trespass and were ok for short walks but for day walks they weren't good enough - worth investing in a good pair is my opinion. Take care, Ashley , and keep at it!!
Thanks chum, I love that part of the Mournes. Yea the hat saved the day although the back of my neck got roasted. Thought I'd try something different with the 2 cameras hopefully people will like it. That's disappointing driving to Errigal that's around 70 odd miles for yous, I've about 116 so I've been checking the weather each week, I'd like to get it on a good day, but sure we can never rely on the weather here 😂. Funny enough you talking about Scrapa boots I've looked at the mens Scrapa Rush boots and Solomon quest boots on line. I'll maybe look more into them , thanks for the tip and thanks for watching and as always take care buddy.
I was looking for info on the Doan route when I found your video. Watched 5 or 6 of your videos since then and just gotta say how much I admire what you're doing! Also thanks for supplying so much info in your vids of route details. Haven't climbed Doan yet, broke my toe last week and am itching to get out. Only ever climbed Donard...man, was that tough, but I want to explore more of the Mournes...such a stunning landscape. Was dead jealous when someone left the Prehistoric Mournes book on your car!!😆 Keep doing what you're doing please..new subscriber!
Thanks David for the positive comment, sorry to here about the toe hope your on the mend. Yea I'm gald you enjoyed them and came back to watch more and subscribe it's very well appreciated. I've returned the favor and subscribe to your channel. I'm heading back from todays hike I'll get a catch up on your vlogs. @hikingtohealth yea definitely mate. The tent they had must of been a big job carrying to woods ha .
Mate it took 4 of them to carry it. Defo not wild camping 🤣🤣🤣👍
@hikingtohealth yea that wouldn't be for me . They should of been on a camp site .
