Defo stunning 🫶😍👌😎
It's such a beautiful place Maxine, drove from Belfast that morning nearly 3hours but it was worth every mile. ❤️❤️😉

So So true.
Stunning.
That looks like a nice, easy ish walk, bit more tricky towards the summit. I've tried a couple of hiking apps and limited success with them. I think they get confused with our Welsh words 😂🙄. Of the opinion now that when I go hiking in Eryri ( Snowdonia ) that I'll just wander and see where it takes me and probably get a bit lost 😂😂. I will use your videos when I move, very useful as contain a lot more information about the trails 😊😊.
Yes I've seen a few Welsh words before and they look puzzling. But don't worry I have the same effect on, (ok Google) sometimes it can't understand my accent. Can be quite frustrating at times 😂😂. I'd love to go hiking in Snowdonia, looks amazing. Yes that's what I try to do, to show more of the trails, the drone helps a lot, it gives a better perspective of the area. Hope you have a brilliant day and take care 😉.
@hikingtohealth 🤣🤣, Welsh is a complex language. My sat nav has some interesting pronunciations of words 🤔 😂. Personally, think the Irish accent is lovely ( north and south) 😁. Frosty here, going for a walk soon. Enjoy your day 😃
@tazminmoore455 you too take care,, have an amazing day 😉
It's gorgeous 🥰😍 Hope u hurry & come back 🫶
Hi Maxine, yea I've missed so so much in getting out, but I've an opticians appointment start of December for another eye examination, so. I don't want to jinx things. But hopefully soon. 💚💚💚😏
@hikingtohealth I hope so too, good luck 🤞🤞🤞
Thanks Maxine 😁💚💚💚
Looks an awesome place to be 😊. Couldn't see a door in the tower, but it has openings /windows 🤔.
@@tazminmoore455 😁there is a door but it's up high, if look at the start, there is what looks like a arch window about 3.5m up from the ground. It's a defence strategy, they would put a ladder up against the tower climb up inside they pull the ladder in so it was harder for viking raiders to attack. 😁
10kgs 🫣🤣. Mine about 3 or 4 probably. I've got Northwest Territory men's boots. Love the grippy soles, but since straining both achilles tendons can't walk more than about a mile in them 😢. Will check out yours, but think will have same problem. Maybe some heel supports might help. Just have to be patient for tendons to heal, but what can I say, I'm Welsh 😂😂, we're generally not very patient people 😅😅
That's a bummer, Achilles problems. Must be agony going up and down hills or mountains. Hopefully they will get better soon and you'll be able to hike further. And be patient no matter how frustrating it may be, you'll get there 😉💚
@hikingtohealth I'm keeping walks short and easy, beach, woodland walks, lanes where I live. I can walk fine in my everyday boots , but hikers are heavier and more solidily built, so put pressure on my tendons. I've been looking at Decathlon snow boots as an alternative, possibly.
That's a very well packed rucksack 😁. Is it heavy ? I try to keep mine as light as I can, but it's still a flump to carry around. I've added painkillers now, already had plasters, small bandage and wet wipes. What brand are your hiking boots, David , and how do you rate them ?
Love the rucksack Tazmin, it weighs about 10 kilos packed. The boots are from Decathlon they are quechua mens waterproof mountain walking boot-mh100 mid. I like them they are really comfy and waterproof even up over the laces. Good for boggy parts in the Mourne mountains. They do women's ones as well 😁.
Amazing .
Thank you! Cheers!
😢I'm sorry you've had a troll experience. Everyone on UA-cam seems to get them. People like that have no life and are just jealous of those who do! You've put a lot of effort into your channel and a lot of effort into changing your lifestyle. It takes determination and hard work to do that!! Well done to you 👏😃😊.
No worries Tazmin it's like water of a ducks back to me. I don't waste time on people like that, I've more important things to do like living my life and hopefully encouraging people to do the same,, 😉💚
Amazing well done .
100%
So true .
❤, do love a castle. Great video! That spiral staircase looks fun 😂😂
Me too Tazmin, yea the staircase is a bit tricky,,took my time on them 😂 you should go there too, its in Carrickfergus just north of Belfast about 30 mins away. 💚
@hikingtohealth It's on my list of places to visit 😀. A few other castles, too. I looked at houses around that area, but over my budget, agents said its a popular place to live.
Hay Tazmin,,, yea it's a popular spot Carrickfergus, but all those places each side of Belfast Lough area are quite pricy. The further out of Belfast the better house you will get for a better price..
@hikingtohealth I believe it will. I believe this is where I am supposed to be for the next life chapter ❤❤.
Wonderful scenery and not very far from my new home😁😁. I did struggle to understand what you were saying as sound distorted, but got the gist of it.
Or was it my accent cheeky 🤣 no I know what you mean that was an old one from ages ago,,, I've better sound equipment now. So has the fear of moving settled and excitement taking over. I really hope your move over here is going to be amazing for you, take care 😁😉
@@hikingtohealth Ill be ok once move is out of the way and I can focus on my new beginning. Its just getting to that point !! So many delays and problems, been dragging on 6 months already. Was told last week exchange tomorrow and move 3rd Dec, but not happening now🙄. Looks like it will be January 😢😢. Was so hoping to have been in NI before xmas 😢😢. Novelty of living out of boxes, no fridge and mattress on the floor has well and truly worn off. Removals dont have any more availability after 3rd December they say.
Wow 6 months that's a long time to wait. But I'm sure it will be worth the wait and hopefully you will love it here and you can start a fresh new beginning. 😁😉

Yep,, Defo 😁
I've been told this 😅😅, sure I'll be just fine and will settle in quickly 😊
@@tazminmoore455 😁😁😁❤️
@hikingtohealth I did watch it, but there were so many storlines running I got a bit lost with it 😂
@@tazminmoore455 yea I think it's one of those ones you're either into or not 😂
😂😂😂 I know where that is as my new home is in Annalong. I remember seeing it when I went to do the viewing.
Annalong is a beautiful wee spot and right on the doorstep of the Mournes,,, yea you hit the jackpot there 😁
@hikingtohealth I do hope so, both scared and excited as dont know anyone in NI, but thats part of the adventure!! . Didn't actually do any research on the area, just booked viewing based on price and 3 bedrooms and had no idea where Annalong was until I got there 😳. The drive down was stunning 😍😍 and very much like North Wales. I saw mountains and googled on phone in car.
I'm sure it won't take long to get to know us we are a bunch of friendly people., 😂😉
Beautiful, quaint little village and stunning coastline , might be able to kayak there 😊. Love the caves 😃. Shame about the Glendun Hotel 😢, lots of potential going to waste.
Yea you can kayak there, I think there are guided tours around the caves. Also that's where they filmed Game of thrones. If you're a fan.
Oh my, that is spectacular 😊. Are there longer walks through the forest?
There is loads of trails you can venture on Tazmin the place is a treasure trove of paths and there's a cafe too with toilet facilities also loads of picnic benches with barbecue heat trays on them. I think you would have an amazing time there. 😉
That looks really amazing 😊😊, and a good walk for all seasons, too. Fantastic drone footage!
There's a lovely forest walk there too Tazmin and waterfalls in Crawfordsburn park. I think I have a vlog on that one as well 😁
Someone recommended the transport museum to me and also said they have a nice cafe. The trains interest me, I would like to do some train journeys around NI at some point. Now, there's an inspiration for some of your future videos 😂😂😂.
Tazmin the cafe is ok but it's more like tray bakes and tea and coffee the day I went,, maybe different now. Sometimes the railways do steam train journeys, love the click clack sound of the wheels on the tracks and the rocking side to side. I haven't been on a train in years, sounds interesting. 🤔😉
Awesome, love the music, too 😊
Oh wow 😄, this place looks amazing, definitely going to plan a visit there 😊. Love the drone footage in your videos, always good to get different perspectives.
Oh my word 😂, your brother sunk up to his knees 😮. Bit of a baptism by fire for him!! I hope the fish and chips revived you both 😊
Yep Defo a baptism Tazmin, the fish and chips are amazing, we went to a place in Annalong called the Galley, the foods great. 😁😋
I lost 5 of my pets between March and June this year, all were old age related problems, except one bunny who was only 12 weeks old and I found her dead in the crate less than 3 weeks after she arrived 😢😢😢. Pets make life better in so many ways but its really tough to deal with the loss 💔💔💔😢😢😢. I really feel for you. You gave Ollie a home and loved him and cared for him when he needed it , so that says a lot about you. Be proud of what you did for him.❤
It is really sad to loose a pet and it is tough to deal with, but remembering the happy times for me anyway, out way the loss. He was such an amazing buddy and brought a lot of joy to my life. And to think he chose me to share his life with, well that makes it all worth while. 😉
Oh, my word 😮, you've had a serious health event from those pics 😢.
Yea Tazmin, just some really bad life choices, but like I said it's was part of my life's journey and if I didn't go through it I'd of never learned from it. 😉😁
Yes, agree 😊, but sometimes when it takes so long I question if it's really meant to be 😢. When there are so many obstacles and problems to overcome it can feel like it's the wrong path to take. Love the guitar playing fly 😂😂
Morning Tazmin, well as they say Rome wasn't built in a day 😁, think of the obstacles as a learning tool to help you and not as a barrier stopping you. If you can learn from them it only makes you wiser and stronger. And yes it might feel like the wrong path but it's part of life's journey and it's what you make of it that predicts your future. Your the controller of you own destiny it's what you do with it that matters. Have an amazing day stay safe and most importantly smile and show the world how amazing you are. 😁😉Yea the flies are cool but took a while to teach them the guitar 🤣🤣🤣.
What a tune .
Cool .
So inspiring ,, keep going .
@@TotalTileSolutions thank you for the support and encouraging comments it means a lot to me 🙏👍

Hi Maxine, yea so so 😅 having a bit of trouble with my eye,, kinda blurry, I've been for tests and having dry eye treatment, so that's why I haven't been out. But hopefully I'll be back soon. I don't want to undo anything that I've done so far with the eye. So just posting shorts at the mo. Take care 😉
