Here are some tips to taming a giga: 1. When giga is in the trap, dismount your tame so it’s easier to place the fourth gate 2. I saw how many tranq arrows you had. If you were planning to knock it out, let alone with tranq arrows, you’re going to need A LOT (I recommend 500-800, depending on level) 3. Since you’re playing on Extinction, i.e, the best map to acquire element, I would recommend getting your hand on the resources needed to build a tek replicator and craft a tek suit, so you can lead the giga into the trap by hovering with the jet pack in the tek chestpiece Hope these help!
This is me on my other account ty but this was early game and I just wanted a low level giga to help run the caves so I can get it over and done with and then I tame a breeding pair of high level gigas for the bosses and I could not defend an elemt node bc the strongest creatures I had are 5 mid level rexes I could mass breed the but they would of all still got clapped by the level 250 wyverns and reapers that would spawn

I did get him tamed in the next episode and I called him cupcake
