But the creator of Jeremy's fragrances is Alberto Morillas! If you don't know who Morillas is, look him up. I think that you, along with many other people, are confused and believe that Jeremy actually made the fragrance (which is pretty silly in my opinion). The price is right.
The fact that his perfumes are more expensive than even some of the higher end designer fragrances is insane. I remember seeing the price for the first time I literally thought whaaaat the hell this dude is insane

I feel people are judging it based on fraghead noses which we all know are more sophisticated than the average person. And this is not aimed at frag heads but rather pleasing the average nose. Best review I have seen is from Frag-mental. He took Date for men into a saloon and asked like 8 women if they thought Date for men was sexy and would pay the price. Feel like that is the most accurate way to judge. Its called Date for men, so ask people you would date. If Demi goes around and asks women what they feel of Date, compared to Layton, La Nuit and a few other date fragrances that would be perfect to judge it.

As a non-frag head and someone who likes stuff that smells nice but also hugely compliment getting, I just want to know how it smell. If it fails compared to other date fragrances - great I will stick to Layton. But just want honest review from the market its targeting. Example is Sauvage - it seems to get so much hate from the little i have seen, yet it always gets compliments from the average person. And (again I stress I am new to this and in no way a fraghead) I just want to know how nice or not it smells and how the public reveice it. As opposed to what seems like drama surrounding it. Layton many people said its not worth the price as it smells too designer like - then i heard Demi's review and I ordered a sample to test it myself (that is how I found this channel). Everyone loved it. No one seemed to care if it smelled designer(ish) they just said it smell amazing.

But on some stuff she has got a developed nose (like Layton exclusive over Layton. I cannot stand the exclusive but Layton is my no1 fragrance currently - and i put that down to how unsophisticated my nose it). Hence why her sister on her channel does so well also to get a different take. Example Eros - I am ashamed to say I had never smelled it. And Demi would never have recommended it, but thanks to her sister's take I was able to get a partial of a vintage formulation of Eros and it has worked well for me. Hence why I like different opinions from non-fragheads just to be sure. Hope that makes sense?
I like demi but she does seem a little "sour" about Jeremy? I could be wrong I'm just thinking they both do the same thing on here and I for one as a fragrance collector seem more drawn to his videos than hers because he has something fun about him so he gets people watching, I dont know but i feel shes a bit arrogant where he is but in a totally different way hes an arrogant fun guy shes more "I'm better than you" i dont wanna sound mean she appears a lovely person and probably is but I get this from her videos and as for any fragrance they both try and sell I wouldn't buy either they would be a copy of their favourite fragrances which shes proved here...I I prefer higher fragrances and I'm sure none of them would wear their own fragrance like most celebs that bring out perfumes they wouldn't wear them they are made with cheaper Ingredients and just never smell perfect as the real deals do
Tara Evans I blind bought many fragrances Demi loves and she was right on. In the end I suppose it all comes down to personal preference. Not a fan of Jeremy... he’s always pushing the same fragrances not to mention his own a little too hard. Try “Gents Scents” he’s awesome!

Great unbiased review. For me, I just can’t see myself spending that much for either frags but if some can and do, good for them. I hope his line does well and maybe one day, I’ll get a chance to try it.
I agree 100% with your assessment Demi. I honestly believe Jeremy's fragrances are outrageous in price. I recently purchased Mancera Cedrat Boise (which is a niche fragrance) for $65 and it's a 4oz bottle while Jeremy's fragrances cost more than twice that much! I like Jeremy and I honestly have nothing against him but for what you're getting, his prices are just ludicrous! Great review as always! Love from Costa Rica ❤️😊
@MAGACOP yes, people do have a hard time with that amount. People have families to support. U may think it's a little change or pocket money, but not everyone is in the same position as u, as u should not be trying to show people up if they struggle to afford that. I like jeremy and i watch his videos but personally i'd rather spend that amount of money on chanel.

Yeah but if you want to decrease the cost price you should decrease the selling price as well. But since he has an offer for 2 for the price for 1 that is no issue. But still a Blue de Chanel and Sauvage even have a better presentation.
I remember watching one of his videos explaining the price change to his fragrance (it went from a designer price to like over 200 if I remember it correctly). When asked about the reasoning behind the price hike, he basically said something along the lines of "I own the fragrance so I do what I want"...Like..I'm sorry what?!!! Firstly, his brand is super new, there was nothing but his words to attest to how great the fragrance was (and nothing niche about it). Secondly, the arrogance!

Honestly I would never buy any UA-camrs products regardless of whatever it is because 99% of the time it’s way overhyped and not really that good. That’s why I like watching people like you who give honest opinions to help everyone out
I own both and I like Date the best. My take on what he is doing is making great mass appealing designer fragrances with higher quality then your typical designer fragrance. Just my opinion. The other thing I like is unless you are really into fragrances and research on UA-cam you will not run into someone else wearing these fragrances. They are not sold in mass at Department stores. This gives a level of exclusivity which can set you appart from what everyone else is wearing. That could change in the future but right now the average person does not no fragrance one
For the box he could have just had a solid color with the name of the fragrance instead of a picture of the bottle. Would have looked more expensive. The bottle could be a box shape like Burberry has.

Demi love your videos and your honesty. As one of your older viewers (I'm 57) I would like to see a video about the history of fragrances. I am a bit of a history buff. It would be interesting if you did "dead celebrity" videos showcasing a different dead celebrity in each video. For instance what scent did Marilyn Monroe wear and what more modern fragrance would you have her wear if she were alive today. You could do men's colognes as well. It would take a little bit of research on your part but I think it would be really fun! Hope you are fairing well with the recent fires in your beautiful country. Demi, with your own line coming out in the future, I just wanna emphasize one aspect. Regardless of which opinion someone shares, one thing is certain: we can learn a LOT from Jeremy's whole launch and how the community responded. I'm only saying this because I wish all the success to you. Show 'em hun what you're made of!
"If I'm honest..." She says this a lot. A LOT. You could make a drinking game around it and be hammered before the video is over. So, I get it. She's being honest. I have to say, however, that it takes guts to go at the guys at the top of the game. Kudos for not being afraid to give an "honest" take on his line (which I think is shockingly expensive for a new entrant).
I think she's saying "if I'm honest" as a semi-nervous bridge to saying something uncomfortable. So she's "just being honest" when she says something sucks. In my experience, what comes after "to be honest" is either a) bullshit (like "with all due respect" which of course means "with no respect"); or b) something negative. It's probably how she breaks up with her boyfriends; i.e., "You have a lot of nice notes about you, Oliver, but if I'm honest, you just don't wear well on me."
I don't mind the packaging being simple but the bottle, I wish they did something cool with it cause the look of the bottle is what attracts you to a perfume in the first place. As for the smell, I really appreciate the review. As a perfume reviewer I was wondering how his perfumes would smell. Pretty helpful with the comparison.
You have to understand germans to get the bottle and box cheapness. Im a quarter german and get it, germans can put a lot of expensive parts into a product but they die a little inside if they cannot save half a cent on other parts. German families can have many expensive cars parked in front but get hysterical if someone forget to turn off the light in the toilet, do that and you will forever be remembered as the insane foreigner who left the light on. Jeremy HAD to do these meaningless savings, and I have to praise the atomizer, for such a strong parfum its ideal that it has a low capacity, dior sauvage should have one like it to avoid over-spraying.

I had decants for both and actually preferred the date! I didnt really have any sweet fragrance so decided to go for date with 60% discount. At that price I think it certainly is an awesome fragrance
Same impression for me when sprayed first time Office: Sauvage + aventus hybrid. In the Drydown has some Versace Dylan blue in it. Big disappointment for me, is far from BEST OF THE BEST OF THE BEST OF THE BESTEEST EVER ...bla bla...

Personally i would rather buy top 10 fragrances for all season & occasion in that price. Video Suggestion: Please make a list of 10 perfume to own year round to make a collection in 500-600 budget. Thanks
These fragrances are the measuring bar for the truthfulness of fragrance reviewers on UA-cam. I have unsubscribed to reviewers that have hyped these fragrances (both are very generic *already done.....Parfum Vintage, Armaf, etc* fragrances that should be under $80 US).
I frequently wear Aventus which is powerful and have to wear it behind my neck to avoid olfactory fatigue. I purchased Office and immediately went nose blind with the opening. I have worn it several times with the same result. While I could not smell it, the people around me complimented it. So if you use it be aware of that.
Excellent observations. I've seen many comments, remarks and reviews which seem to struggle with separating their feelings about Jeremy from an honest assessment of the fragrance.
Much respect for your unbiased honesty! I've always respected your perfume reviews but even more so now. You're the real deal. I haven't smelt his fragrances but definitely not impressed with the packaging. Looks like one of the fragrance bottles I'd get from the drug store.
If all reviews for his fragrances were this short and succinct. Knowing your tastes and the sheer number of fragrances you test, and something of his preferences, it all makes sense and kudos for doing this long awaited review with class and honesty.
You scent comparison on the notes was spot on. I think Jeremy breaking in the fragrance market is okay for first time but definitely he will come up with something spectacular..Thanks for you review always like your commentary on perfumes
I agree with everyone for a first time fragrance the price is way too high. The major labels took many years to earn that type of clout to offer up those prices. Plus I agree presentation is dull and generic. Part of the experience is opening the box and having a piece art on your bathroom counter. Never smelled it but tbh for that price I probably won’t.

Imagine having the passion, and drive to start your own business, and people just bashed you all over social media without even ever experiencing your services/products. People were putting all kinds of hateful messages on Frangrantica about Date for Men before the damn thing even came out!! Overpriced copycats! A coworker bought them and brought them to work so I can sample them and he told me he was disappointed in them and tried to sell them to me at half price. I too didn’t like them and I passed on both! Tomorrow I’m going to Saks and I’m going to get a couple of Tom Ford colognes.
He pushed it , Office ,too fast too quick and then said he was increasing the price before it was released and not realizing how drastic and bad that move was and every one is saying it is a good scent at a regular price range ..It was a mistake on his part but him being the smart guy,, he can realize his bad start issues and try again . He got the taste of the crap sandwich from the get go and he can make it better the next time.. Stay tough Jeremy ..
@MAGACOP Yes ,ok,my memory got a bit foggy on this because it has been a while since the release of Office ,and it was around 170 USD and then he said he was going to double it and his subscribers left some upset comments ,,they were pissed badly and then he decided not to double it ..It went out of the door on a really sour note because in the sea of fragrances there are too many to choose from and he should have had the cheapest possible to get more of it out in the buyers hands and then moved gradually on to something more expensive ..His leverage on You Tube could have helped to sell millions of bottles at an affordable price ..I think he will come up with another one that will be a good seller ..
Hey thanks for the review, i have followed jeremy on youtube for a longtime and was very excited by his fragrance brand, but the price and the fact we can't try theses fragrances before we buy them ... very bad.
I haven’t paid full retail for any of them, personally I don’t know who has a third batch bottle who has paid full price. So the real price is 80€, and 110€. Both of them are the best UA-camr fragrances , both very long lasting, and both so easy to wear. Office was not one of my favorites, but it kinda grows on you, and your not wearing sauvage, as everybody. For the discount price, I am terribly happy .

Great Review Demi, I appreciate your honesty. I recently bought a bottle of Date & i received a lot of compliments . I know to the Frag community it’s too mainstream & too designerish, nothing new. But to the masses it’s very unique bc their not fragrance hobbyists like we are. I would say maybe 80 to 90% don’t even know what niche fragrance is. So no matter what we wear it’s always going to smell unique not to everyone but most of them. I enjoy your videos keep up the good work. :)

And (again I stress I am new to this and in no way a fraghead) I just want to know how nice or not it smells and how the public reveice it. As opposed to what seems like drama surrounding it. Layton many people said its not worth the price as it smells too designer like - then i heard Demi's review and I ordered a sample to test it myself (that is how I found this channel). Everyone loved it. No one seemed to care if it smelled designer(ish) they just said it smell amazing.
@@queljohnson563 I hope my comments make sense. I am not in anyway saying Demi's review is wrong as I really like her take on stuff. But on some stuff she has got a developed nose (like Layton exclusive over Layton. I cannot stand the exclusive but Layton is my no1 fragrance currently - and i put that down to how unsophisticated my nose it). Hence why her sister on her channel does so well also to get a different take. Example Eros - I am ashamed to say I had never smelled it. And Demi would never have recommended it, but thanks to her sister's take I was able to get a partial of a vintage formulation of Eros and it has worked well for me. Hence why I like different opinions from non-fragheads just to be sure. Hope that makes sense?

I like demi but she does seem a little "sour" about Jeremy? I could be wrong I'm just thinking they both do the same thing on here and I for one as a fragrance collector seem more drawn to his videos than hers because he has something fun about him so he gets people watching, I dont know but i feel shes a bit arrogant where he is but in a totally different way hes an arrogant fun guy shes more "I'm better than you" i dont wanna sound mean she appears a lovely person and probably is but I get this from her videos and as for any fragrance they both try and sell I wouldn't buy either they would be a copy of their favourite fragrances which shes proved here...I I prefer higher fragrances and I'm sure none of them would wear their own fragrance like most celebs that bring out perfumes they wouldn't wear them they are made with cheaper Ingredients and just never smell perfect as the real deals do
Tara Evans I blind bought many fragrances Demi loves and she was right on. In the end I suppose it all comes down to personal preference. Not a fan of Jeremy... he’s always pushing the same fragrances not to mention his own a little too hard. Try “Gents Scents” he’s awesome!

I agree 100% with your assessment Demi. I honestly believe Jeremy's fragrances are outrageous in price. I recently purchased Mancera Cedrat Boise (which is a niche fragrance) for $65 and it's a 4oz bottle while Jeremy's fragrances cost more than twice that much! I like Jeremy and I honestly have nothing against him but for what you're getting, his prices are just ludicrous!

Exactly. From personal experience I understand that creating a designer bottle can increase a cost price quite a lot, but those bottles are way too plain.
Yeah but if you want to decrease the cost price you should decrease the selling price as well. But since he has an offer for 2 for the price for 1 that is no issue. But still a Blue de Chanel and Sauvage even have a better presentation.
I remember watching one of his videos explaining the price change to his fragrance (it went from a designer price to like over 200 if I remember it correctly). When asked about the reasoning behind the price hike, he basically said something along the lines of "I own the fragrance so I do what I want"...Like..I'm sorry what?!!! Firstly, his brand is super new, there was nothing but his words to attest to how great the fragrance was (and nothing niche about it). Secondly, the arrogance!

Honestly I would never buy any UA-camrs products regardless of whatever it is because 99% of the time it’s way overhyped and not really that good. That’s why I like watching people like you who give honest opinions to help everyone out
I own both and I like Date the best. My take on what he is doing is making great mass appealing designer fragrances with higher quality then your typical designer fragrance. Just my opinion. The other thing I like is unless you are really into fragrances and research on UA-cam you will not run into someone else wearing these fragrances. They are not sold in mass at Department stores. This gives a level of exclusivity which can set you appart from what everyone else is wearing. That could change in the future but right now the average person does not no fragrance one
The bottle looks like Jeremy. Simple and classic. I wouldn’t buy it for that price though.

It would be interesting if you did "dead celebrity" videos showcasing a different dead celebrity in each video. For instance what scent did Marilyn Monroe wear and what more modern fragrance would you have her wear if she were alive today. You could do men's colognes as well. It would take a little bit of research on your part but I think it would be really fun! Hope you are fairing well with the recent fires in your beautiful country. so he put the discount on the top of the price. nothing special. every new instagram brand do this.
I think there are many amazing scents that are half the price of these without being discounted, but each to their own .

She says this a lot. A LOT. You could make a drinking game around it and be hammered before the video is over. So, I get it. She's being honest.
I have to say, however, that it takes guts to go at the guys at the top of the game. Kudos for not being afraid to give an "honest" take on his line (which I think is shockingly expensive for a new entrant).
I think she's saying "if I'm honest" as a semi-nervous bridge to saying something uncomfortable. So she's "just being honest" when she says something sucks. In my experience, what comes after "to be honest" is either a) bullshit (like "with all due respect" which of course means "with no respect"); or b) something negative. It's probably how she breaks up with her boyfriends; i.e., "You have a lot of nice notes about you, Oliver, but if I'm honest, you just don't wear well on me."

I don't mind the packaging being simple but the bottle, I wish they did something cool with it cause the look of the bottle is what attracts you to a perfume in the first place. As for the smell, I really appreciate the review. As a perfume reviewer I was wondering how his perfumes would smell. Pretty helpful with the comparison.
You have to understand germans to get the bottle and box cheapness. Im a quarter german and get it, germans can put a lot of expensive parts into a product but they die a little inside if they cannot save half a cent on other parts. German families can have many expensive cars parked in front but get hysterical if someone forget to turn off the light in the toilet, do that and you will forever be remembered as the insane foreigner who left the light on. Jeremy HAD to do these meaningless savings, and I have to praise the atomizer, for such a strong parfum its ideal that it has a low capacity, dior sauvage should have one like it to avoid over-spraying.

Same impression for me when sprayed first time Office: Sauvage + aventus hybrid. In the Drydown has some Versace Dylan blue in it. Big disappointment for me, is far from BEST OF THE BEST OF THE BEST OF THE BESTEEST EVER ...bla bla...

These fragrances are the measuring bar for the truthfulness of fragrance reviewers on UA-cam. I have unsubscribed to reviewers that have hyped these fragrances (both are very generic *already done.....Parfum Vintage, Armaf, etc* fragrances that should be under $80 US).
I frequently wear Aventus which is powerful and have to wear it behind my neck to avoid olfactory fatigue. I purchased Office and immediately went nose blind with the opening. I have worn it several times with the same result. While I could not smell it, the people around me complimented it. So if you use it be aware of that.

Much respect for your unbiased honesty! I've always respected your perfume reviews but even more so now. You're the real deal. I haven't smelt his fragrances but definitely not impressed with the packaging. Looks like one of the fragrance bottles I'd get from the drug store.
If all reviews for his fragrances were this short and succinct. Knowing your tastes and the sheer number of fragrances you test, and something of his preferences, it all makes sense and kudos for doing this long awaited review with class and honesty.
You scent comparison on the notes was spot on. I think Jeremy breaking in the fragrance market is okay for first time but definitely he will come up with something spectacular..Thanks for you review always like your commentary on perfumes
I agree with everyone for a first time fragrance the price is way too high. The major labels took many years to earn that type of clout to offer up those prices. Plus I agree presentation is dull and generic. Part of the experience is opening the box and having a piece art on your bathroom counter. Never smelled it but tbh for that price I probably won’t.
I wouldn't store a fragrance on a bathroom counter. Fragrance oil doesn't like hot, variable temperatures and moisture.

He pushed it , Office ,too fast too quick and then said he was increasing the price before it was released and not realizing how drastic and bad that move was and every one is saying it is a good scent at a regular price range ..It was a mistake on his part but him being the smart guy,, he can realize his bad start issues and try again . He got the taste of the crap sandwich from the get go and he can make it better the next time.. Stay tough Jeremy ..
@MAGACOP Yes ,ok,my memory got a bit foggy on this because it has been a while since the release of Office ,and it was around 170 USD and then he said he was going to double it and his subscribers left some upset comments ,,they were pissed badly and then he decided not to double it ..It went out of the door on a really sour note because in the sea of fragrances there are too many to choose from and he should have had the cheapest possible to get more of it out in the buyers hands and then moved gradually on to something more expensive ..His leverage on You Tube could have helped to sell millions of bottles at an affordable price ..I think he will come up with another one that will be a good seller ..

If Date smells like M Micallef Desir Toxic I’m interested since that’s currently my favorite fragrance of all time. To each their own.
I haven’t paid full retail for any of them, personally I don’t know who has a third batch bottle who has paid full price. So the real price is 80€, and 110€.
Both of them are the best UA-camr fragrances , both very long lasting, and both so easy to wear.
Office was not one of my favorites, but it kinda grows on you, and your not wearing sauvage, as everybody. For the discount price, I am terribly happy .

The drydown of Office is extremely similar to Abercrombie & Fitch's Blue. It does smell good but a bottle of that you can find for $50 lol.

I recently bought a bottle of Date & i received a lot of compliments . I know to the Frag community it’s too mainstream & too designerish, nothing new.
But to the masses it’s very unique bc their not fragrance hobbyists like we are. I would say maybe 80 to 90% don’t even know what niche fragrance is.
So no matter what we wear it’s always going to smell unique not to everyone but most of them. I enjoy your videos keep up the good work. :)
