    You look completely different now - I wouldn't have recognized you, believe it or not. There is really no better testament to the effectiveness of your program than that "before" photo. And the fact that you share your knowledge, free of charg so that others may benefit, is a evidence that you are an exceptional human being. Refreshing, to say the least.

    My dear, I´ve done your exercises everyday, 60 times and I can CLEARLY see the difference! Thanks!!!! (my most problematic area is under chin, you know? I´m thin as you can see and it seems that my skin is sagging.
    But, you said s we get older nose gets down and the philtrum becomes shorter... is it? But... you have an exercise to shorten philtrum... I thought the shorter the philtrum the younger I´d look...

      hello Margaret I have to say that yes when you are young the Philtrum is short ( distance between nose and lips) as you grow older this gets wider or longer so people get a large space between these 2 creating a large space, not very attractive. I think that Peta got this the other way around.

    Just found your videos. I am 58 and my upper lip line looks like I have been a smoker for years! I think it must be from raising 3 sons and 1 daughter and pursing my lips a lot! lol. I have always taken care of my skin, so seeing these lines form over the last decade or so has been really discouraging. I will start this exercise and the neck in the morning. Keeping my fingers crossed 😀. Thanks for the videos.

    Hi Peta - doing your exercises on and off for the last 6 weeks and having some good results. Would just question your comment about the distance between nose and upper lip diminishing as you get older - in most older people it increases and you seem to show less of your teeth as it droops..

    Thank you for showing your before photos. It is much more believable that facial exercises work for people over 50 when I can see someone over 50 that it has worked for. I don't think you look indistinguishable from the before photo. It could be said that the difference is the hairstyle, makeup and attitude. I have been doing your exercises and do see a difference. If a person is considering these exercises, they might go through a makeover of some sort: change their hairstyle, change their makeup, be more diligent about keeping their skin clean and moisturized, eating better, etc.

    Fortunately I don't have upper lip lines (not yet!) but I thank you for this exercise because I believe that facial exercises are not only to correct but most of all to prevent the signs of aging. I noticed in this video that your eyes look so clear, bright and sparkly like only young persons eyes do. I think this is because of the way you are eating now. Did you notice this too? When I compare you now to the before photo at the end (not to mention the total change of your facial structure) I can see clearly the difference.

      Hi Sapnasabi, you are correct about facial exercises preventing ageing. I wish I knew about them when I was in my 30's because it would literally stop the lines. Yes, I also noticed my eyes being bright and clear, and yes it is to do with the way I eat now. Such a difference! Thank you for noticing! The total change of face structure is also so evident, because, facial exercises return the face to the structure it naturally is. Thats what I love about doing them!!!     Hi Peta. Of all the problem areas on my face, I hate these wrinkles around my mouth the most! I've never smoked yet there they are. I've been doing these exercises since the beginning of Jan. but I'm really not seeing a change. It's now 2 months into it. I do plan on continuing though and upping the reps. Trying.

    I was in an accident some years back and wear a partial so I'm having a hard time doing this. I can tell anyone that these exercises work for the "turkey neck" and Jowls though. I am the only female in my family without the loose skin on neck because if these exercises.

      Svetlana Hasiyeva Hi Svetlana, thank you and welcome to my channel. You only can do the exercises once a day, then leave it for 24 hours and do it again the next day. Do them for up to 6 days a week. It is in the resting of the muscles that helps them build, and if you do them too much you can get more wrinkles from it. Also, you need to do a full face routine.     I am just 20 and already have wrinkles around my eyes and lips.. people say it comes from smoking or drinking water from a bottle but I never smoked and mostly drink out from a glass.. and now I will start with doing this exercise and I really hope they will stop getting more and deeper.. afterwards I will search for exercises for hooded eyes and wrinkles in the eye area as well I believe there is a video for that part too :D thank you really much and I really hope this will help

      +Maria Bernarda Torri - Hi Maria, no, you cant. I am very strong about not changing the EAWM Series. If you are going to do it, you need to do it as is, because, then, when you start the other series 2 and 3, you will not be over exercising the muscles. I have the exercises in the series for a reason. So, possibly, if you wish to change the EAWM routine, you can construct your own routine. Here is a video that shows you how to do that specifically - ua-cam.com/video/TbCnjIx2Gzk/v-deo.html, however, if you choose to stay with the EAWM Series, just stick with it as is. Hope that helps!

    Thank you for this series. I am just beginning and I am 61 years old. Of course I want to do everything at once. I am on series one. My question is, can I add exercises for parts of my face that I need or do I have to wait until I have completed the 3 series (6 weeks) first?

      Hi Lori, if you are following the EAWM you cannot change them, otherwise you could run into over exercising and cause more wrinkles and sagging. just follow the program and you will have results over time.

    I like to put just a tiny bit of moisturizer on my fingertips and move my fingers outward and upward while flexing my upper lip as you show. There is still plenty of resistance but it is slightly more comfortable and I have dry skin, so it adds some moisture to the area. I will stop, if you say this would be counterproductive.

    Hi Peta, me again! You have corrected that more distance between the nose and lips is making look younger, so does this exercise and the nose lifting create more or less distance? Sorry for so many questions but I am fan of your exercises and I watch you very carefully :)

      Hi Maria, yes I was wrong when I said that, I said it backwards. The LESS distance between the nose and the lip is better. This exercise should help reduce the upper lip wrinkles that we get over time. I hope that helps

      Barbara French Hi Barbara, yes you can do too much exercise on your face. It is just like the body, you can overdo it in the gym too, the muscles are the same on your face as your body. If you follow my instructions, you cannot overdo it! I hope that helps!

    Hello Peta, Thanks for your videos. I was wondering if you have considered doing some segment videos covering face sections seperately. Forehead and eyes, cheeks, nose and mouth and then jowls and neck. I find it a bit difficult following the list of videos and making sure I have exercised all the muscles. Just a thought.

    I love microdermabrasion :) I drink much wather and eat healthy, i an 49, but when sadly have used the wrong creams on my skin it got dried out, and wrinkles from dried skin is the worst.
    So micredermabrasion was my savior and good creams from advise from a skin spesialist in the saloon, getting Exiviance for my skin wich works super :) But i wonder, if i dont find the correct spot to do this exercise, can it make it worse ? How to be sure to find the right spot ?

    Peta, in a more recent utube you mention that exercises are not much help for upper lip wrinkles IF you have lost some teeth. So, what is your take on the Angellift dermal strips which are supposed to be for this specific issue?

    Hello Peta I been doing facearobics now for about 2 years and this particular exercise I stop doing because it was creating a large gap betwween nose and lip also it does not looked atractive. if you look at younger people the gap beteen nose and lip is very short and the older the person grows the distance gets bigger, this is how one can tell how old someone is. I do love the rest of your facearobics, everyone complements me on how young I look it makes me feel good and happy. Thank You so much for your Videos.

      I am sorry to hear that Isabella, the exercise is not designed to do that, the opposite in fact. Just do this exercise very lightly you do it with your fingers

    Hi. Thank you so much for this exercise. I have just a quick question. I started yesterday and today my lips feel a bit strange when I try to put lip stick on it is hard to pucker! Am I doing something wrong. Thanks you again.

    I definitely live in the wrong hemisphere, what with you and Dr Libby Weaver being such strong advocates for women ageing well naturally. You have both opened my eyes to the obvious differences between the sexes and that Women are creatures ruled by hormones and heart and we need to reconnect with ourselves...leave stresses in the past where they belong not carry them with us all the time xx

    Thank you for sharing your tips and knowledge! I've been doing this 'lip-erize' for just a few days now and I see a difference. It's been frustrating because I drink a LOT of water (about 10 bottles) and have a healthy diet but......once menopause hit, the elasticity seem to have left the building (body!).
    Anyway, what I've been doing on conjunction with this is, adding Castor oil whilst I'm messaging the lip area. For me it's wonderful because it's not 'oily' at all for my skin. It's more petroleum jelly- like so it doesn't leave my skin greasy. So unless you can tell me why this might be damaging.....I suggest others try it.
    And if it doesn't help (or you deem it a bad idea) then you can always use it on other parts of the body (arms, legs.....or as a gentle internal lubricant) or use to quiet a squeaky door hinge :)

    Hi Peta, do you think that drinking from a straw might also add to lip wrinkles? I started drinking green smoothies which can be quite thick and this question came to mind.

    Hi Peta will another lip exercise keep the lip wrinkles at bay. I have seen an improvement in my face. My daughters have also commented how good I look. I have been doing your exercises since July this year. Should I change to another lip exercise, or can I carry on using this one at the end of my routine. Really love your videos. X

    Hi there, I want to do this exercise but when I pull my upper lip down over my top teeth back and forth it starts to really hurt the skin inside the top lip to the point of blistering? Any tips? Thanks, Kat

    I am 84 years old and have deep grooves in my upper and lower lip area and am wondering how much success will I have in smoothing out these lines to plump them up. I have been working on my upper lip for some time now and do not see any improvement.

    Love your exercises love them they really have helped me a lot I do AM every day and plus do you're massaging and plus I also tried to fit in daily exercises for the rest of my body but it makes sense everybody needs to exercise from head to

    I had a root canal job done 20 years ago where they missedone root. This caused sinus problems as the infection spread. Since i had moved from one place to another with different climate I thought maybe that it was an allergy. The wrinkles that developed around my mouth were huge. I have found that an infection will cause periodontal desease, which causes 60 to 70 percent loss of cologen. This is a huge factor in wrinkles, joint problems, and hair that doesn't grow, also loss of energy.

      and never get a root canal they take th e heart of the teeth out! change your diet and you'll find most issues go away

      Hi, my mom got a root canal several years ago and it is funny that she just start getting lines around her
      mouth and she has always been glowing, now she look saggy around the mouth.

      That's what's caused mine I'm 58 and didn't start getting them until I had dental work at 55

    Hi Peta I notice that this exercise is working, but I am scared that pushing my fingers against my top lip will stretch my skin? How can I prevent this?

      Hi Julie, I do talk about isolating the muscles so as not to stretch the skin. So, place your fingers firmly onto the upper lip and try it again. Also, have you watched the Press & Plant technique video that I developed that helps in these situations? It is in the play list on my channel.

    Thank you for that, I heard that drinking from the straw or directly from the bottle can cause upper lip wrinkles with time, but what about oil pulling, its like a mouthwash...i mean excercise all muscles but maybe is not good?I do oil pulling with coconut oil each morning for 20 minutes

    Hi from Seattle, WA Peta! Love your videos I asked you a question on another video and now can't remember which one so as to look for your reply. I'm new to joining You Tube. Anyways I'm so excited to have found you and while I enjoy hearing your initial explanation of the exercises do you have one program that goes through all the facial exercises one after the other. I am enjoying doing it first thing in the morning when I have and would love to have a beginner, intermediate and advanced. I'm 50 and take very good care of my skin but have never done facial exercises, I can't believe it! Oh well, never too late. I agree with your thoughts on sunscreen as well. What do you recommend?     i was doing doing this exercise every day during my series 1routine and what a mess. then i clicked on one of your videos where you stated not to do this with every routine. so i have stopped doing this for awhile to see if it will settles things down. their are two exercises for this upper lip and this one seems to be the easiest. what are your views on this.

      Hi Pat, I have sent you in other comments how to follow the program correctly, to have success you need to follow that. Do not add or change the routines i have created please otherwise you will be over exercising or under exercising.

    Hi Peta, I'm doing the series 1 level 3 right now. I have a lot of deep vertical lines above my lips and some smaller ones below my lips. I noticed on your series 2 that this exercise to get rid of upper lip wrinkles is not part of it. Can I incorporate this exercise into what I'm doing? I know you said not to change the exercises at all, but the rest of my face is looking better and theses wrinkles are really bothering me. Please let me know what to do. I'm hoping some day to look as good as you do :)

      Hi Virginia, I have notes in the beginning of the video asking people not to change or add exercises to the EAWM Series. The lip exercise is in Series 3. If you add it to this series you will create more wrinkles around your mouth as you will be over exercising that area when you get to series 3. Please do not change the routines, all of the exercises are there for a reason, and some were left out for a reason.

    I'm not sure if you'll see my question as this video is from more than 4 years ago, but I was wondering if this exercise would also work for a horizontal line that I have underneath my nose, across my Cupid's bow. I've had Botox injected in the area, but the line is still there. Do you have any recommendations for a facial exercise that would work to get rid of this line?

    Hi! Wonderful video thank you! My question to you ~ Is there way to exercise the bottom lip, chin area around the bottom part of the mouth to de-wrinkle that area?? Im finding a lot about the upper lip area, but what about the lower lip area?? Thank you so much!

    I have puffy ridges on my top lip with some hypopigmentation from a laser treatment which I had about 16 years ago. Is there an exercise I can do to help eliminate these puffy ridges? I had erbium laser resurfacing there and they disappeared for awhile but they have now come back a year later. Thank you. Jane

    im on level 1 number 2, when can i start using the upper lip line remover, and i can use all the other face exercises ,when i have completed all the exercise along with me, is that right, so many exercises i would like to do here, particulary for round the mouth and that droopybit that comes down by the sides of your mouth, x

      +tracey hillier - hi tracy, probably better you follow your own routine, as i have included the lips in the new EAWM Series 3. You cannot exercise the lips too much or eles it will be too much and this is why I omitted the exercise from the previous 2 EAWM. Of course you can add it, but, do not do the exercise all the time! Hope that helps!

      You cannot spot exercise, you need to do the exercises as part of a full face routine, otherwise you will create more wrinkles and cause your face to droop

    For anyone watching, you might want to google ideal distance between lip and nose. The shorter, the younger you look. That’s why surgeons do lip lifts. So if indeed this exercise lengthens the area between nose and lip....that would age you faster!

    Interesting because I've never smoked and have a habit of drinking only lots of water, 1 cup of coffee or tea with an occasional wine for years. I have deep lines above my lip. I'll try these exercises though.
