Zelos generally only offers discounts during the launch sale. They also occasionally clear out old stock/seconds at a discount (generally once a year or so). Cheers
Zelos goes back to its roots. The watch case is a statement by itself, it doesn't need overly flashy colours. This is why I also prefer this subdued but effectful colour. The blue accent on the bezel insert from 12 to three are a nice touch as well.
Great taste, as always, my friend 🥂 I share the same sentiments. As a car enthusiast, I also love that it replicates an increasingly common/popular paint setup. Cheers
Definitely appreciate this review. Going to be shooting for this dial, the Aurora comparison was a great idea and really helped push me towards giving the HH a shot as someone who typically avoids 42mm+ pieces. The Ti weight should be fine and this dial design looks nice without being overstated. No quick release spring bars is a bummer since I like strap changes but not the end of the world
My pleasure! I appreciate the support! I think you'll really like the dial and the total package is much more wearable that the measurements. It's still a big watch, but wears comfortably (even the SS was still surprisingly comfortable). I too don't generally wear over 42mm (and usually gravitate to at/under 40mm). Agreed about the spring bars. They were a funny angle to pinch and partially blocked by the case back, but I still preferred it. Cheers
Thorough review. I really like that colorway and the contrast with the indices' frames. Some of the others just seem too flashy for the HH. I'll get a couple and this one may very well be #2.
I moved on my MOP hammerhead 3 quite quickly. Weight and size were too much for me but I'm going to try again for the Ti. Was hoping to score a timascus but I'll be at work and on a shaky mobile signal so probably no point in trying. Going to go for a meteorite as my second choice. Already ordered a navy Isofrane to pair it with.
This one wears so much better, at least in terms of weight! The dimensions are virtually the same, of course, but the weight helps everything feel better. Good luck in scoring one of those two! Cheers
HH3 Ti is a nice add to the family. Mine retro black SS version weights 200g. That's a watch you gonna feel, but it is the most comfy watch I have after Mandala. I am sorry Zelos did not use the opportunity to upgrade the watch to Miyota family, with few changes, movement adapter could fit Miyota 9000 series in the same case.
I believe it. I was surprised how comfortably the SS HH wears as well, though I do much prefer the Titanium on wrist. I'm a big fan of the 9 series movements too and it would have been a good upgrade but I don't mind the NH. Cheers
Quality review! It would be even nicer with a swiss movement, say, a Soprod or equivalent. The NH movements are baseline throw away movements, in my opinion.
Thank you very much! I'd honestly take (and trust) the NH more than the Soprod, particularly with the accompanying retail discount. They offered an ETA variant in the past, alongside the NH, but it came with a hefty price increase. I think Miyota 9 series are the sweet spot for divers like this, but do like a more storied movement in dressier/sport watches. All that said, I've had good luck with NH movements. Cheers
I don't generally prefer chunky watches and typically grab a dressier sport watch as my usual go to. That being said, as chunky watches go, the Hammerhead wears great and it's a signature model in the Zelos lineup. Cheers
I almost bought one (overpriced on ebay by now), but i just noticed that indice at 6. It should be wider like the ones at 3 9 and 12. Now it's not different in width from all the in between indices. Details like that matter to me. (On the Swordfish they did it properly.)
You may be able to find one in their Facebook group, if you're a member. With the 6 o'clock date window and small accent index, I personally prefer the incorporation they chose. It matches the date window width. IMO, they would have needed a trapezoidal date window, like the Mako, for a wider marker to look right. Cheers
They made a Hammerhead Chrono based on the Hammerhead 2 layout, in steel and bronze versions (not available with this dial color though). The bracelet didn't taper as I recall. I haven't seen anything about the Chrono version making a return, but maybe someday. Cheers
I think it's more of a design choice than poor fitment. It's tight and contours with the lug cuts. The center portion of the case was raised and emphasized, causing the outer portions to tuck lower. Cheers

Great review, very informative. Thanks for bringing in older versions of the Hammerhead for comparison
My pleasure! Thanks for watching! Cheers
Great review! Just ordered the titanium meteorite version.
Thank you very much! Awesome! I hope you enjoy it! Cheers
did they honor any discounts?
Zelos generally only offers discounts during the launch sale. They also occasionally clear out old stock/seconds at a discount (generally once a year or so). Cheers
Cool one. Good point about the extension matching the clasp better this time!
Thank you! Definitely my favorite finish for this Aurora style clasp. I think Elshan nailed it on this one. Cheers
Jonathan, Excellent review, thank you!
Thank you very much! Cheers

By the way mate, I think you're spot on about the clasp. It's the best looking by far.
I like it more each time I see it! Functionally excellent, but this finish is top notch!
Selling out as we speak, I’m very tempted.
Very close. It's definitely a solid watch for the money and I enjoy the colorway as well. Cheers
@@JonathanTReviews when they release on other websites, will the price be the same?
I'm sure it will vary by dealer but I don't expect any will be at launch price.
There is also a SW version, it's a limited edition (100) with infused carbon, looks gorgeous!
That is a cool one! Cheers

excellent review
Thanks so much! Cheers
I've got the Mako GMT with blue meteorite dial and can't get it off my wrist....
It is a good one! I enjoy my Malachite version as well. Cheers

Thanks buddy! The contrast is excellent and, I agree, this is one that has pop without being so bold. Cheers
Top of my list. Great review :)
Thank you very much! Happy hunting! Cheers
Thanks for the review! I have a ss and bronze hh3. It would be nice to have Ti as well! We'll see😊
My pleasure! Thanks for watching! Absolutely, great variety in the lineup and collection. Best of luck scoring the one you want! Cheers

Weird to see them still available after this long
I thought this one might not command as much frenzy, but it's going to be a sleeper IMO! Great dynamic, understated color. Cheers
Really torn on this one like some of the dials but this chunky style hasn't been something I have ever worn.

@@JonathanTReviewsjust looks off to me. I may go for one..yes thanks i saw on facebook they go for more appropriate prices.
This is the sleeper colourway
I think so too! Understated but complex in its subtlety. Cheers
A Chrono version is steel would be fantastic.. with a tapering bracelet, the bracelet has to taper to 16-18mm buckle that would look so good.
They made a Hammerhead Chrono based on the Hammerhead 2 layout, in steel and bronze versions (not available with this dial color though). The bracelet didn't taper as I recall. I haven't seen anything about the Chrono version making a return, but maybe someday. Cheers
The fit between the bracelet and the watch is not very good. The endlink doesn't fit well with the watch.

Too bulky, will pass this time. Thanks for the review!
Understandable. My pleasure! Thanks for watching 🥂
