    I agree with Jay about trying to get enough food to build muscles. I've come to understand why old school bodybuilders recommended dirty bulking during a bulking phase. Sometimes we just burn off too many calories, which is great for getting rid of obesity, but not good for bodybuilding.

    You were talking about protein shakes and I’m finding that protein shakes are more useful when you are doing fat burning dieting instead of mass building for meal replacement.

    Keep crushung it Mr. O. Great advice, thank you again. I like to drop the rice in the blender and add some milk and then warm it in the microwave, drop 1/4 scope of GENERATE in it and it tastes great.

    Everyone who is either getting into or active in bodybuilding, should take the time figure out what THEIR body's metabolism / meal-frequency is through journaling their workouts and their nutrition intake. By journaling, you can easily see the trends over time!
    Back in my day (early to mid-1990's), it took me about six months of journaling to figure out that I needed 6 meals a day for most workout cycles with an increase to 7 during bulk phases.

    The strangest darn thing ever is Im in the upper part of MI right across lake Huron, Snowmobiling years ago was big here! But no more! We just don't get snow anymore! Not enough to own a snowmobile. Moving into the strange world of quantum physics, Crazy as it sounds time is definitely speeding up!

    I don’t know if it’s true exactly but I remember maybe about 4 years ago that California passed a law actually allowing people to steal from convenience stores without being arrested. I think because it was happening so often.

    You’re right Jay, oatmeal does tend to set on your stomach longer because I feel it’s because it’s sort of fatty so it’s healthy fats but still it has a decent amount of fat in there to slow the digestion down some.

    Stealing is one of the reasons, but I believe it’s cuz of inflation. Prices and costs keep going up in California. Everything going up but minimum wage, or not enough income for low paying residents of California so that’s one reason why!!!!

      I have! I've gotten the same advice from multiple specialists on the subject. Do not take creatine if you have pre-existing issues with your kidneys. Other than a gram per pound of protein and a strict eating regimen...I'm natty all the way.

    An episode of jaywalking, without a little excursion into the kitchen, is not a real Jaywalk. My routine is now programmed: First, we start in the kitchen and go out. second, we walk outside and observe what's new on the neighbors' land. We admire the new driveway of the house at the end of the street which looks like a checkers or chess board. We finally go back to the kitchen and look at what's new on the counter. Oh, and we also count the number of times Dave says: ''Oh yeah?''...

    In a video, Ronnie Coleman also told Andrew Jacked saying hey, do you want to get big don’t you well you’ll have to include extra meals sometimes during the night but Andrew jacked stuck with his beliefs on the subject.

    I was in Vegas 2 years ago, hanging out side the sunglasses shop my wife was inside looking and I watched a guy run in grab a bunch of sunglasses and run, I ran in checked on my wife talked to the manager and she said yeah we're not allowed to call the cops or anything it's not over 1000$ nothing we can do, acted totally unphased as it happens a lot, I was totally shocked

    It is interesting how the old school says you need 5 or 6 meals a day, but current studies do not support that being necessary! Both nitrogen balance and protein synthesis stay elevated for 8 + hours from one meal! As long as you are getting the amount of protein in per day it is not necessary to eat more frequently than you need to do that! The big things to concentrate on are protein, fat, and some carbs if you feel they are necessary! Hint: They are not nearly as vital as was once thought.

      The studies you mention probably weren’t performed on bodybuilders. Even if you’re natural, if you train your ass off and you want to maximize gains, you cannot go longer than 3 hours without food. Your body will cannibalize your muscles. I literally waste away if I miss my meal timing. Once I eat, you will literally be able to watch my arms fill up. For me, I take 350g protein a day over 6 meals.
      Carbs are not essential, that’s not new info. Your liver will produce 60-100g carbs on its own. Only amino acids and fats are essential. Carbs are necessary for glycogen replenishment, but you can healthfully live without them.

      Your body will be fine if you go longer than 3 hours without a meal. Meal frequency is personal preference. Overall calories and protein for the day matter most

      @@um4668 Sure, I’m talking about optimization. It’s not optimal to go longer than 3 hours without EAAs. Will you turn into a skeleton if you go 5hrs without a meal, clearly not. But you will be short changing yourself if you have those gaps.
      This matters more and more as training volume, frequency and intensity rise. If you’re some normie that just lifts weight from point A to point B, probably isn’t as important.
      But if you’re pushing to failure with heavy weights, lots of volume, you’re doing yourself a huge disservice by not spreading your aminos out evenly throughout the day. I’ve been bodybuilding for 23 years. There’s no way you’ll convince me otherwise. I can see it happening. But again, I’m a psychopath in the gym. Someone like my brother, who barely trains at all, the food isn’t as big of a deal. Plus he’s 160lbs I’m 240 and lean. You can click my pic and see what I look like. That doesn’t happen on accident.       Jay was and is still on gear he doesn't need dietary fat except what naturally comes with the meat he eats but if you are natural you had better add healthy fats to your meals

      In Dave’s defense if you go to Associated Press which is a pretty neutral news agency stated that they never recovered from Covid-19, Theft, employee theft, inflation and poor management are the reasons they are closing. Also, Dollar Tree is closing 1000 stores. California does not prosecute these criminals who steal under $1000.00 and with no bail laws we have major criminal problems!

    Yeah he's right some oatmeal does clog of your stomach at times but it depends on your own system . For me not to much so. I try to eat alot of 🍊🍏🍎🍇🍐🍌 but they cost so much now 😢 but i eat them from time to time @JayCutlerTV 💪🏼
