This is the first time I’ve watched your show. Allowed? back up now. Yes, a woman has a right to conduct herself as she pleases sexually or otherwise. Last time I checked women were adults and not children who answer to their parents.
I am a 53 year old happily married for 20 years Samoan woman with three children. I was born in the U.S. So maybe a different perceptive.
I find it interesting how young women (at least one of them) says it’s not okay for females to be just as sexually active as their male counterparts. It’s 2014!
The comment comparing a woman to a car and a man as it owner was offensive. The very idea that our worth is no more valuable than a car. To be owned, serving men. It shows ignorance, immaturity and selfishness. It demonstrates lack of respect for their partner. rather than seeing them as equal in a relationship. Women are just a means to add to his status and we as females should welcome any man who would throw any attention our a way.
Just as a reminder as a woman I can grow a baby, make milk and nutrient that baby. There isn’t a man on the planet that can do that.
Thank god I married a real man who loves me, respects me as we built our relationship on a foundation of equal minds, sharing our strengthens and raising our children to be thoughtful adults.

Do what you want....but be warned that there are social constructs and conditions that will label and punish the behavior.
    Where's there's a action, there is always a reaction.....sometimes positive sometimes negative.

I actually disagree with Teuila about nothing bad about getting around, especially with females because of the Samoan culture, whereas females are considered sacred and the treasure/measina of their family. For us to say as long as its safe and protected is throwing our culture out the window and being half and half with it. That is, as long as we're taking this from a Polynesian perspective.

Did you know in NZ taken by Statistics NZ - " Pacific teenagers’ fertility rate (48 per 1,000) although lower than that for Māori, was 50 percent above the national level, and over twice the European rate in 2000-2002 (22 per 1,000). Both groups also have higher abortion rates, 30 and 26 per 1,000 for Māori and Pacific respectively.
So why is this "TABOO" subject - not discussed - is it how its discussed not what is discussed - or is it the fact that islanders are too naive until its too late that there 16 yo - 19 yo daughter is with child. Not having a life and yet taking care of life. Our generation can change this - Im islander guy and I'm part of this stat (well my sister anyway i love those ulu vales to death) and a child of the "dawn raid" era so its not too late - but i guess its just life little problems and blessings

Teuila don't try to smudge the lines of decency with promiscuity. If that's your thing then all power to you. But I wouldn't want to see my wife brag about her sexual past in detail, neither do I want to hear my female relatives sexuality during toanai. Some things should be left in the bedroom, have some class and decorum. Be like Bernice cause she's all that.

Samoan Kiwi "A master key that opens many locks is a master key. A lock that is opened by many keys is pretty useless" don't necessarily agree with this quote but it's a funny way to look at it lol

women should be allowed to be sexually active as much as they want but the problem is we live in a society where there is a lot contradictions in moral standards and values where one group can act a certain way and be socially accepted while other groups do the same thing and be labeled and persecuted for it. Im pretty sure it stems from religion. Its seems ok for a guy to sleep around yet if a girl does it she gets called a slut whore etc etc-however this is only in western society. In the islands its completely different where sexual behavior is suppressed regardless of gender.

Its up to her, but once she becomes exclusive, then she needs to stop.
