I just adopted two middle-aged amazons. one is 42 and the other is 38. We really enjoyed listening to this with my other three birds. The mischievous Amazon let me groom him for the first time. Definitely going to my favorites. ....thank you..

+Paradise Music. Yes, it was very soothing and yet interesting for all. We all enjoyed. Bandit is a double yellow napped Amazon. He has a good heart, but has had many homes. I am hoping that, for both of us, I can be his forever home.It has been so many years since he has been handled and loved, anything to help facilitate is GREATLY appreciated. lol

I always liked the tropical ambience of rain forest and jungle wildlife. I can't afford to go to the reserves in southeast Africa nor tour the rainforest of the amazon. Your sounds really intrigue me very much. I can hear more birds and water without a lot of back ground noise. Whether it's real or not. and I believe it is. It's fantastic. I live in the desert in Arizona near the Colorado river. To make my retirement more interesting, I built from the ground up a cat habitat jungle on a half acre. A security fence that protects all my felines as they enjoy there new home in a make believe jungle. with little huts to live in.. I use jungle sound effects to improvise Lions, Tigers, Zebra's, monkeys, and varies big cats. The sounds of your cool tropical birds fit the bill. We don't get much rain here, but that thunder in the background really enhances my project. Thanks. This is my paradise.

We had a woman contact our office some time back and indicated she played this for her cockatoo when she had to leave her house. She indicated that he would become very serene and not panic as she left, the way he used to! So this is really reinforcing that our little nature animals are so delicate and in tune with their surroundings. Thanks so much for sharing.

+citizenoftheearth6 Wish we could tell you! This was recorded in Costa Rica and close to 900 bird species have been recorded in that region! Sorry, but our guys are great in recording the nature sounds but sometimes don't even see the creatures making the sounds!
This is a good excuse for me to go to Costa Rica and check it myself : )
