I haven't started yet. I haven't even cut a piece of glass! I just got all the equipment & I have to set up my garage as a "studio", lol 😆 I was checking out your videos to see how I should set up my garage and noticed a few more videos that looked interesting. I really enjoy your channel. I'm a new subscriber from Washington State 😃 Thank you for the reply, I really appreciate it!
You are so welcome! Did you come in right at the end of last Friday's stream? I will be streaming again this Friday at 8PM EST. Hope you will join us! Thanks for watching the video.
Just don’t leave your solder iron on too long and switch locations if you have more than one area you are doing overlays on. This will allow time for glass to cool down. You can do it!😀
For the angel I could of done wire for that application. Depending if you want the detail to taper from wide to a narrowing point then foil overlay would be my choice, but if uniformity is needed then you can adjust wire gauge and use that instead. Thanks for the comment and question.
What techniques have you used to add details to your stained glass artworks? Let me know so I can try them out.

Thank you! I was worried to try overlay as thought the glass would break.

Great video! Just curious, what is the difference between foil and wire for overlay. It seems like wire would have been easier on the angel.
