Wow, thanks for the info on my city. The pandemic put things out mind about certain areas of the city because we were all trying to stay quarantined. I am knowledgeable about most of the city because working for the school district as long as I have it comes with the territory, but I have not been in N Liberties in quite some time. At least 5yrs tops, and I am eager to try the restaurants over there. You should like the Fairmount section, UC section (where I live), and the Passayuk area (where I work) around the Italian Mkt. All these areas are experiencing growth and change while still the charm that Philly keeps dear

Great video- I’m still watching! I lived in west philly for 4 years and NoLibs for a year now- I love it but literally every block has become a new building/development. The truth of gentrification, but I’ve literally had 10 friends move here in the last 2 months. The rent has skyrocketed beyond belief since I moved here last year even (apartments cost 500+ more than last year, more than just inflation would cause) and piazza Alta apartments start at like 2700 for a (small) 1BR. While I love this area, I’ve found it might be worth it to live down past 4th street or so and just walk as the rent goes down a little by then. Thanks for all the info!

Gentrification at its best
Don't forget to visit the HUGE homeless camp encampment in the underground parking garage near the NL Acme. Piss, feces, human stink and other overwhelming smells will knock you away! Beautiful! But wine at Fine Wine and Good Spirits and celebrate human decay and homelessness!~
Not sure I've ever seen more than maybe one or 2 people under there.
