I came across your channel last night..my daughter's goal is to be a flight attendant after she graduates from college. You are such a lovely soul..I am sharing your channel with her because you remind me so much of her. God bless and I look forward to seeing your channel grow. 💗

Got hired with United and I start training here in a few weeks! Can’t wait! I think for me, passing training and getting the base I want, are the two things top of mind right now. But either way, I’m ready to get through this!

Loveeeee this video and you’re so pretty! a few questions I have just so I can prepare myself cause I leave for training in 3 weeks.
    1. how was the moving process? cause I noticed after graduation we only have a week to report to our hub base.
    2. Any training tips and studying advice?
and 3. do they tell who your roommate is before showing up? or you find out the first day?
Also love that your based is Chicago! I’m really stuck between New Jersey & Chicago🤞🏾 but Chicago is my second choice (if it’s up to me). But like you mentioned I heard it snows a lot there 😭. well .. really anywhere up North and i’m from the South 😩. so that’ll be a big adjustment for me cause we hardly deal with it down here. And can’t wait for your daily travel bag video!

hiii! thanks you so so much ❤️ and congratulations on starting training!
      1. moving to chicago was tricky but it ended up working out.. I came to base with my luggage packed with a week’s worth of clothes until I was able to find a crashpad. once I found one I was able to unpack all of those things and then bring more little by little as I was going back and forth from atlanta.
      2. as far as training tips, I made sure to save as much money as I could before going.. once I was there I made sure to make my hotel room a home, bring school supplies to take thorough notes (which will help when studying), use good time management and get as much sleep as I could, take my time during test taking, and trusting the process. It really helps to take things day by day.
      3. and no, you find out your roommate on the day you come and walk into the hotel room 😭 at least that’s how it was for me
new jersey has really good international flying but chicago is a really good mix for me and because I’m from the south as well the snow was exciting and I was able to prepare myself for it!
but thank you so much for watching! I truly appreciate it.

@@byBriannaSimone Thank you! and thanks for all the helpful feedback and responding! I genuinely appreciate it. I literally thought about leaving my stuff in storage here in atlanta and doing the same as you mentioned so that's great. definitely gonna remember all the studying advice (big thanks on that) and I figured about the roommate % hopefully I have a cool one. good to know insight about the two bases as well. I guess it'll just come down to what's available and what I end up deciding but I think both would be great for me. Thanks so much! for even making videos for us to get an idea of what to expect. Also be safe out there exploring and maybe one day we cross paths working on mainline (claiming and speaking it to existence).

@@jamilakelly3862 I totally would cover it daily throughout training, but bc swimming was mandatory then I’m not sure about the policy there.. if you have a method I would cover during swimming just in case! you never know..
