If you guys could surely enough, help me to get the numbers up for this video. I'd appreciate it. So close to release day, man. So close. Btw I'm also making guesses about who could be in the game because I've watched the entire season of JTTW 86. I'm reacting off of pure excitement. So take certain things I say with a grain of salt.
Did you really! You might be the first non-Chinese/Asian person I've ever heard say they watched the entire season of JJTW 86. You really did your research!
@tiffanyng7599 lol, quite sure I'm not the only non chinese/Asian who has watched them. Yes, I have watched all 25 episodes and one episode of the sequel. I'll have to go back and watch the rest of the 14 episodes because I believe those were reshoots that they did for certain episodes in the early 2000's.
@@KevBeCool I know but still, I could count the number of these folks I know with one hand, including you! You probably have already seen it, but if you haven’t yet I greatly recommend the recent animated film Monkey King: Hero is Back! A bit unorthodox interpretation of the journey to the west story, but there’s this one scene of Wukong in full power and armor that is just incredible!
Really nice seeing someone reacting to this actually knows stories about Wukong and have watched the famous tv show, and even remember some of the details in certain episodes. Bravo to you!
@yilunbai Thank you kindly. I am a fan of the Monkey King's 1, 2, and 3 from the first with Donnie Yen and the last 2 from Aaron Kwok. The TV show was especially my favorite. Took some time to watch every episode, but I'm glad I did. It's very intriguing to look up and be a fan of a very established and popular Chinese folklore story. I didn't want to be ignorant or foolish because I respect Chinese culture even if I don't know every detail. I know this is important to Chinese people, for we can make comparisons for this is kind of the USA's Spider-Man to Sun Wukong being a very part of their childhood alike. I'm glad and happy I didn't disappoint. I still have other movies, the cartoon, and, of course, the novel itself. But with the time I had, I'm happy that I was able enough to understand the story from the 1986 show. Thanks for watching.
Hey, bro, you really get it, even better than some people in China! By the way, in ancient China, odd numbers were considered "Yang" and even numbers were "Yin." Among single digits, the largest odd number is 9, and the largest even number is 8. When you multiply 8 by 9, you get 72, which symbolizes the harmony of Yin and Yang encompassing all things. So, "72 transformations" means being able to change into anything that exists.
You are a true fan. As a Chinese, I have forgotten some of the storylines but you can still tell them accurately. It is very amazing. I hope you can enjoy the game.love form china🙂
Being able to understand the 1986 TV series Journey to the West puts you ahead of the majority of foreigners. Thank you once again for your love of Chinese culture, from a fan in China!😊

Hopefully, more Americans will appreciate the story of JTTW and understand how much it means to the people of China. I grew up with the 80s Journey to the West TV show and I'm surprised that people these days can still sit through the series without complaints of bad special effects. You are a true fan and goated!
"72 transformations" means 72 schools of skills in the Chinese novel .The ability to transform into anything is just one out of the 72 skill sets WuKong has. So he can transform into anything he wants
Yea, that's what I mostly said in the video. Probably didn't explain it the best way, but nonetheless. Thx for watching. But i still believe we will be limited on transformations for the Destined One. But it would be amazingly cool if we had many of them.

FYI: The group of Gods at the end is called: The Four Heavenly Kings. In the myth, our world has 4 main paths, they are the protector of each path which can be divided into: 1. Northern Heavenly King (his name is Vaiśravaṇa) He carries a big umbrella weapon that can shift the sky, and call down massive storms. His other hand carries a stupa used to trap enemies inside. Green skin color 2. Southern Heavenly King (his name is Virūḍhaka) His weapon is a shining sword that can cast a tornado & slice evil to its root. Blue skin color 3. Eastern Heavenly King (his name is Dhṛtarāṣṭra) He uses a Pipa (like a traditional Guitar of Asian culture) as weapon. The sound of Pipa when played will purify the evil in each individual. White skin color 4. Western Heavenly King (his name is Virūpākṣa) He holds a snake in 1 hand, on the other hand, he holds a mystical pearl. The snake always tries to eat the pearl but is always stopped because his power is to uphold balance. Red skin color

The journey to the West was also a treat to watch and dive into the story with Sun Wukong and his companions on his journey to the west in the 1986 tv show for CCTV.
I believe most of us foreigners do know about it. It just may be rare to find us. Most of my kind in America arr not hip to the actual story, but may know Sun Wukongs existence.
kudos to you, brother! for playing the original intro song of the 80s show at your intro! btw, i'm chinese! so many memories!
No problem. I'm glad I could revisit those memories for ya!
Dude! I can hear the OST of Journey to the West playing in the background😂
Someone is watching the Wukong's story!
@@rorschachgotnicemask9449 lol yea, it's the theme song from journey to the west from 1986. I would have it louder but I don't know if that will hit me with a copy right but I thought it would be nice to have it in the background playing.
WOOOOOOW!buddy,u really know it.especially, the 86ver TVshow journey to the west.u really konw the culture, the details.the emotion, the feeling ,u got it

FYI:
The group of Gods at the end is called: The Four Heavenly Kings. In the myth, our world has 4 main paths, they are the protector of each path which can be divided into:
1. Northern Heavenly King (his name is Vaiśravaṇa)
He carries a big umbrella weapon that can shift the sky, and call down massive storms. His other hand carries a stupa used to trap enemies inside. Green skin color
2. Southern Heavenly King (his name is Virūḍhaka)
His weapon is a shining sword that can cast a tornado & slice evil to its root. Blue skin color
3. Eastern Heavenly King (his name is Dhṛtarāṣṭra)
He uses a Pipa (like a traditional Guitar of Asian culture) as weapon. The sound of Pipa when played will purify the evil in each individual. White skin color
4. Western Heavenly King (his name is Virūpākṣa)
He holds a snake in 1 hand, on the other hand, he holds a mystical pearl. The snake always tries to eat the pearl but is always stopped because his power is to uphold balance. Red skin color
@duongo1590 yea, I knew this already. Thanks for the information anyway.

It's nice to see someone who shares your interests. Best wishes to you
This is the most knowledgeable reaction have ever seen. Those of us who grew up watching Journey to the West can't remember some plots clearly, and then the paragraphs you analyzed in the video really made me feel that what you said was particularly reasonable, and it successfully reminded me of those things when I watched Journey to the West as a child! !
I'm glad I could be that example for you. I just feel bad that we Americans had to try and barge in on a very popular folklore story overseas. It pained me when sweet baby Inc. They wanted to bully their way to try and destroy what was not broken and what we other Americans are looking for an outstanding story and experience from a story such as Journey to the West.
@@KevBeCoollol On our video site, your reaction have been praised and recognized by many people, and you really did a great job! I hope we can all enjoy the game after it comes out. This has nothing to do with other factors, just about the game and the story behind the game.I'm glad to discuss something with you here that we are all interested in!Finally! My English is not good, please forgive haha.😂😂
Well, it's perfect to where I can understand you. Lol, so no worries. But everything you said I agree.
It's about a community of people, gamers, fans of the story, or new to it to collect and come together and support game science and as well as us Americans show our love to the Chinese community that we love your culture and ways of story telling.

@@KevBeCool btw, what platform will you stream on when Black Myth: Wukong drops?
@@L1nVenom16 I won't be streaming it. It will be a play/walk-through. More of a story kind of cinematic gameplay. Streams are cool but I like it in a sense of a story.
Check out a channel called Hollow. He's pretty much have been my inspiration to record gameplay and give it a style that it's a story in itself.

did you finish all the 86 ver. jtw?so cool
@rekaEu-w2o as far as the show, I watched all 25 episodes and 1 episode from the sequel. But the sequals were just episodes they came back in 2000 and reshoot certain episodes for it. I'll still watch them because it's only 15 episodes. But nonetheless I've seen all 25 episodes of JTTW 86.
Hey btw the 72 transformations doesn’t mean 72 transformations. He has infinite transformations but you have to kill him 72 times to beat them. Great video
@InsanityTavern yea, I believe I did say it wasn't really 72 transformations. But you're right.
@@InsanityTavern I just want to transform into a small home like he did in JTTW 86.

Lmao, if that is true, then it's well deserved. They tried to destroy such an amazing game to which i don't understand why did they think on that they needed to insert themselves into a CHINESE developer's video game that has nothing to do with the states.
I'm happy they stood their ground just like shift up for Stellar Blade.

Can you upload the 1986 version of Journey to the West?😊
ua-cam.com/video/u5WkNs8cusU/v-deo.html
Well, I can't. If I did, I believe I get hit with copy rights. But there are channels that do have all episodes. Just have to search for them.
@@KevBeCool ok
You know about Journey to the West? Real players! Four kings, give me your goose bumps. 5:14 😅
@@華夏之光 I believe that will be the most intriguing part. Especially the battle in Heaven if it partakes in this game.
In Chinese mythology, Wukong is T1000+Superman. He was a evil monster who chose the right path and became a god, so that makes he is Kratos as well? 😂
@shifeng8125 I mean, yeah, lol, sure you could call him that. Even when Tang Sanzang wanted him to stop, he kept going. Which is why we know how he was giving that crown. But there were sometimes when I wanted Tang Sanzang to understand from time to time Sun Wukong was protecting him for his best interest from those creatures.
I mean, everyone and their grandma wanted to eat his flesh for crying out loud. Lol
I think so far from the all trailers there are total 12 transformations showed
i have seen around 19-21
The question really is.. How many will we have available in the game?
@@KevBeCool I’m pretty sure transformations divided by combat and non-combat, like fox, bat, cicada would be non-combat.
@fengqi3101 i agree. As well as tree. I better turn into a house too as well. Lol jk but those transformations i am looking forward to as well.
@@KevBeCoolI think there also have some skillish small transformations, like showed from 4:03.
