But even tho they met first Damon left her to live not gonna be there for her. that’s why Stefan should’ve been the one because he was there for her and there from the begging since they met. Stefan never tried to hurt the people elena loved when he was ever mad at her. Damon did. and it sucks. But if anything Elena choose Stefan. Her true self did. Her vampire self changed. And her vampire self choose Damon. cause she needed Damon. Not Stefan. if she was still human I’m pretty sure it would me Stefan cause being a vampire changes everything. and he’s only in her life because Stefan. Damon won. Because he wanted what Stefan wanted.
