Three of what she fought were big, heavy characters, and Squirtle is part of a top tier who is known to struggle against Zoners and let's be honest, wasn't being played very well (as a PT main). Diddy is a bit more troublesome, but that's only assuming they play defensively, which Wii Fit is better at.

I like the idea of calling a Joker. I think expanding on it for future videos may be a good idea. How about, playing a joker gives one player a favorable match, but a loss when a joker is played counts double. Limit 1 joker per player per video, and it can be used while losing, but also if the game is tied (Otherwise using a Joker to get from 3-4 to 4-4 in a first to 5 would have no drawbacks.)
Got a really fun ruleset for you : Make a spirit team with super sonic as the lead and 3 - landing lag spirits, go to custom smash and put gravity on "heavy", and then use melee ruleset (hazards on, 4 lives, 8 mins, 6 legal stages). It's really fun
Do a challenge where you number the columns 1 to whatever the last column is. Random number generate. Then, whichever column each of you rolled, you have to pick a character from it and fight with them.
As a Hero main, Hero can be good in this challenge. He can Heal. Runaway with Acceleratle & Zoom. Use bounce to prevent from projectiles. Good range moves such as Kaboom, Bang, Sizz, Sizzle, stage 2 Frizzle, stage 1 & 2 Zap & Kazap & go off stage with any Woosh moves. Biggest weakness MP usage. btw the way that Cfive play Hero; alot of errors he done
Could be wrong but I think part of the Olimar thing is cause in stamina side special can’t kill outside of purple pikmin. It’s definitely really good in normal stamina but here I think it’s useless.
The fanbase can be really creative with these mode concepts, some of them should be taken in consideration with proper balance, the franchise needs newer but better and engaging game modes.
a proper Min Min player would have been OP at this... a huge mistake letting them get close and use the slow grab move. He should have use Down Tilt, go for to the ledge and FAir, shield... literally anything but grab when cornered. I am saying this cause this Game Style is very similar to facing Sudden Death, and my Min Min has over 70% of Sudden Death wins in online gameplay (mostly when it comes to playing FFA online tourneys) while my other mains barely go over 50% or 60%. Ram Ram is extremely overpowered for this.
