I made some calls and just received mine! Running about 20 seconds fast though. I’ll let it settle-in for a few weeks before I regulate it. I’ll let you know how it runs after regulation.
I have the same watch. I have had it over a year, worn every day. Its settled down to plus 4 seconds a day. Totally disagree with your comments about the strap. It's good leather that needs breaking in, and in keeping with the older look design. As I said, it's been on my wrist for over a year. It is a great watch, measurements are perfect. It's beautifully made for the price point. Thanks for reviewing it
I bought a Chinese day/date homage for $195 from Ironwatch. It’s currently at an average of +1 sec a day, with a deviation of +/-5 seconds a day on the wrist. The build quality is awesome, with an ETA clone, sapphire crystal, AR coating on a blue dial. It’s true, that even the Chinese will charge you $100 extra for a SW200 movement & this isn’t an ETA 2824/SW200. -but it’s still interesting to look at Chinese watches that are high quality & you don’t intend to service for $300 every 5 years.
@@chriswatchreviews4752 Hangzhou 6330, it’s a 2834-2 clone running at 4Hz. I got mine during one of the many sales. Sometimes you can get some really great deals.
You are right. Unfortunately, this is a discontinued model. After I bought mine, it disappeared from Jomashop, then re-appeared again a month or 2 later. You may have to check back periodically to see if they are back in stock. Hope that helps
Nice, very beautiful watch, but - as I thought - the movement is a little old (I found somewhere that it was intoduced in 1982): not very accurate, short power reserve etc. That is a pity. I am not going to buy it. Even my Seiko 5 has a newer, more accurate movement.
In all fairness to the older movement in the watch, mine is running at +5 seconds a day. This isn't my first swatch group watch with an older ETA, and I have no performance issues with them. The overall price to quality ratio for this piece is excellent. Thanks for tuning in!
@@herrrotkappchen7816 at the time I thought it was, but that was just a guestimated 24 hr test. I actually bought a timegrapher about 2 months later and placed it on there and got that result. Sorry for the confusion

Awesome! Yea, mine is at +18 seconds. At least I'll never be late!

Much appreciated! It is a great piece!
Great review! This watch is a good combination of dressy and sporty. Reminds me of a Breitling Transocean Day Date.
Thanks bro. Same base movement as the Breitling as well
Thanks so much for this review! May I ask, how is the weight of this watch?
The weight is just fine. It is not too heavy or big, nor does it feel dainty on the wrist. Overall it's a good balance
Nice review, can you please link me to that strap you got?
Sure thing:

That is a hell of a good deal considering the specs, and the movement seems to be running great. Which movement were they using?

Does the day date change happen gradually, or does it “snap” over at the end of the day?
It snaps over at midnight
Nice video bro
Much appreciated!!

@@chriswatchreviews4752 That strange. Didn't you say that it is running 18+ sec. a day?
