Adam and Swole Groot are probably my favorite from this line, the retooling and new sculpt on Rocket is also amazing. But Adam is definitely my number one favorite from the line.
the design of Adam Warlock resembles the design of the Visions (both original & White versions seen in A:AOU, CA:CW, A:IW, A:E, What If...? & WandaVision)
I don't have a problem with the costume design. The head sculpt looks accurate to Will Poulter in the film. A more vibrant gold and red would've lifted this. It really needs a ball joint at the waist as well as the diaphragm.
@@alexryan2926 I get that but my opinion is based off his first appearance in the MCU not the comics. I think if we compared anything of the MCU to the comics then it would look like a joke cuz comics done everything else better and we all know that. The introduction alone is very good for the MCU, way better than visions introduction who had no personality or character in age of Ultron.
It's pretty obvious now that they cast Will Poulter in the role because he's got more than a smidgen of Bowie about him, especially with that hairstyle, but the costume is a major fail. I can understand the decision to drop the thunderflash motif (too reminiscent of Shazam Cap Marvel), but it's got all that extraneous noodly detail that's really starting to irritate me about MCU costumes now, and why abandon the red and black colour scheme? Red in particular has always been Warlock's "thing". Plus it has the unfortunate effect that if you subject the figure to the "squint test" he does look like a bloke in gold body paint wearing a cape, thigh boots and not much else 😵. I will be buying this figure - eventually - but I'll be popping the head off and sticking it on the Warlock/Magus figure body from a few years back in order to get the "Space Bowie" he's described as in the comics.
i just bought this figure and it's missing the red lines on his left thigh. it sucks that hasbro did this no plastic thing, which is either a hit or miss because we don't know how the figure looks. i didn't regret buying it since i love adam warlock and the design looks great, but am i disappointed? most definitely. imagine a million dollar company, a company that has been dominating the last decade, and they still give us figures with bad paint jobs.
Warlock and High Evolutionary both have bad designs imo. I picked him up just because I wanted a warlock on my shelf and he does fit in with the mcu aesthetic, which is most of my collection, better than the comic on.
Warlock not so much, I mean while he does have a whole lot of lines on it and it makes for a messy design they still included things from the comics like the skull and the red cape and the gem looking thing on his head, kind of generic for MCU. However, high evolutionary I do agree with you in that one, he looks way too much like Kang and he just doesn't pop out when you put him side by side other MCU villains.
that costume is perfect but why didnt the studio make it black and red
They don’t care. Gotta wait for ML comic version
Seriously.. why would the make the costume the same color as his skin?
And why, if you're going to use the fanged skull clasp on the cape, do you not actually make it *look* like a skull?
I think they wanted to make it fit with the sovereigns weird eugenics shit
Yeah this suit would be much better with black instead of gold. Maybe with gold highlights in certain areas.
Honestly black and red for the suit was the way to go.
I like the look of the character! It looks consistent with the Sovereign from volume 2
My boy warlock got jaundice fr

Till now I'm interested to get StarLord and this figure 🤔
Excited for Star Lord!!

without accessories, it was like the world if it came with the infinity glove, and you can make a comparison with the thanos figurines
Rocket be like 👁👁
I think the actor will knock it out the park but the character just reminds me of a cosmic gold Vision
Oh he's beyond that, his character was so unique in the movie was awesome.
@@alio6359 my opinions changed he was a joke in the comics he wielded the infinity gauntlet in the film he carried an alien as a pet 😕

Toysnowman is a racket. So much more expensive than any other site.
You know Amazon is shipping these now without that hefty shipping cost from Canada
I have links available in the description box for amazon for folks then
Nailed the headsculpt!
out here looking like a golden Vision
I think for me the head sculpt is just a little too big for that slender body.
So ......the cape looks nice....😂
Any chance you do a Drax head swap?
Nice! Hello again mate, please can you swap his right hand with the mark 85 iron man snapping hand I wonder if it’s compatible thx
This Adam Warlock figure is pretty great, the lightness of the head sculpt is dead on Will Poulter
I dont really like the design either, I know what you mean. Its definitely the hair for me. Still want him though. 👌

Kraglin will be later tonight. Cosmo should be early afternoon or late morning tomorrow.

Why can't it be the soul gem? Captain America put them back where they were supposed to be In the correct time lines. I thought.
What?
@@cookiebunny1526 didn't you watch end game?
@@insanitysplayground547 he did put them back but in the beginning thanos destroyed them. And that was after he got them so it xant be
@INSANITY'S PLAYGROUND I did, but your sentence makes no sense

Why buy the figures before seeing the film? They could make this character into a complete tool given Marvel Phase 4/5's not so good track record.
he’s good

He looks exactly like the actor, that’s why it looks bad.
The StarLord is the only one I want. This just looks disappointing
It looks bad because its too realistic and accurate especially the face and suit.
Woahh they printed this guys eyes way too small and narrow
Oh lord they gave the one character that can fly a dumbbell neck? This is such a bizarre wave
Yikes is all I have to say about this figure.
Warlock has always been one of my favorite characters. Mcu has mucked up the classic look. Just a mess😝💋

Hope he looks better in the movie cuz this look is horrible
His eyes are way too close 😂
Not really into these figures but I can't wait for the movie
