What is your favorite baby substitute?
Baby trex
Moros intrepidus! (I think that's how you spell it) or one I use more frequently, the 2022 allo with the regular allo, as its adolescent offspring. one just looked more, old and scarred. And the other looks more young and sleek!
Im not sure yet, but a baby quetzalcoatlus would look cute and fluffy :>
moros obviously (t rex baby substitute.
Galli and Struthio are perfect imao
Fun Fact: A study sometime around 2009 suggests Dracorex and Stigymoloch are just juvenile stages of the Pachycephalosaurus. With Draco being younger than Stiggy. So Evo's juvenile and adult combination here at 1:50 is the most accurate baby dinosaur you'll get.
Wow I did not know that
Wasnt there a similar discovery a while back where Triceratops was a stage of another dinosaur and triceratops got priority just because it was more famous?
@@Dan55888 Yeah, by Jack Horner, regarding Torosaurus. Which was completely shattered by the discovery of juvenile Torosaurus. Of course, Jack is also the one who's spent a couple of decades insisting Tyrannosaurus rex was nothing but a giant ugly stinky ineffectual scavenger because he got upset he found eight specimens of T. rex while looking for his one true love, hadrosaurids.
@@Dan55888 as the other person stated, that theory was debunked. We've found various fossils of baby and juvenile Triceratops. Another 2 things that Jack Horner seemed to forget were that not only is Triceratops larger than Torosaurus, Triceratops doesn't have holes in it's frill, while Torosaurus did.
@@GoGojiraGo Jack Horner has become a philosopher of sorts more than a paleontologist in that he comes up with theories that he really has no basis for. Like that the Tyrannosaurus only saw movement because it was a scavenger not a hunter. That Pachycephalosaurus didn't actually butt heads because the skull is too fragile. Dracorex and Stygimoloch are just juvenile stages of the Pachycephalosaurus only because we haven't found adult Stygimoloch or young Pachycephalosaurus, and the Dracorex only because it lived alongside the other two. And, of course, trying to make Torosaurus adult Triceratops.
I think we all know baby dinos will never be added but there might be potential for dinos like beta and bumpy kinda like they did with the dimorphodon and the oouranosaurus etc.
I even think those are not possible anymore at this stage. Either of the Dominion expansions would have been THE *perfect* moment to add Beta. The fact that they didn't, pretty strongly implies they have absolutely no intention to. Beta makes no sense for any other DLC, since she was only in Dominion.
@@EvolutionSquare what if they make a baby dlc/dinosaur pack
@@Hunter_anims ehh it would be kinda weird to have baby dinos that just don't grow up and die as babies in the normal game or with unlimited life spans turned off
@@ToastTheThe true, but what if they did grow?
@@Hunter_anims that could be somthing like planet zoo I mean frontier made planet zoo with juvie animals so why can't it be implemented in JWE2?
Moros could be infant,
Qianzhou could be Teenager
Alberto could be Sub-Adult
And Tyranno would be Adult.
I chose this because they gradually become more bulkier and bulkier
The problem is that Qianzhou and T-Rex’s jaws are more rugged-shaped than Alberto’s straight-shaped jaw.
Nah, Moros would be hatchling, you'd need something bigger for infant, like bigger than Troodon probably, something the size that Junior was in TLW, cause he was an infant, Sarah even said it
Faxs
The reAl proBleM is…. They FiGhtT
@@deenut2069 turn off combat in sandbox 💀
Frontier should deffo add a new mechanic into the game where we raise baby dinos in nurseries, and we get a 1st person view of inside the hatchery building where a cinematic cutscene shows a baby dino hatching out of its egg, and you can choose to let it out as a baby or grow it up inside the hatchery and release it as an adult.
Nah fr tho that should be added in some way
A cool idea could be to use the Lystrosarus as a hatchling triceratops.
You goddamn genius
Thank you!
But I think if the Microceratus ever gets put in the game, that would be an even better substitute
@@OceanLinerNerd1 maybe gallimimus as baby theris
Oh that's a good idea 😮
Funny enough, I actually did this once in Jurassic world Evolution 1. Basically I had the 2001 Brachiosaurus skins be a substitute for Argentinosaurus while I used Camarasaurus as the young Argentinos. Was really proud of myself for doing that back then. 😌 I'm happy that we do have more species to play with and have some be the "younger" versions of their "adult" counterparts... makes the game feel way less of the same thing over and over again using the exact same species. Really appreciate this video for opening my eyes to even more substitutes that I will definitely be using in the future. Thanks, Evo! 🥰
I have been using indominus rex and majungasaurus together for so long and let me tell you they work perfectly, and the default giga as Mapusaurus too which is really cool
Fun fact! We probably DON'T have to imagine Dracorex or Stygimoloch as a juvenile Pachycephalosaurus at all!
Because it is extremely possible that they already are! We only have very few examples of Dracorex and Stygimoloch and it has been theorized that both are just different examples of young Pachysephalosaurus! With Dracorex being a young juvenile Pachy and Stygimoloch being an older adolescent Pachy!
Lol i know that's why I said they were an obvious choice
I just realized the no DLC has had anything ceratopsian related. I also think Qianzhousaurus works pretty well as a teenage Indominus Rex
ooohhh Qian as young Indom is very good!
Deluxe DLC had Pachyrhinosaurus
@@nerdsamericashorts4887 that doesn’t really count as it’s just an upgraded version of the main game with extra dinosaurs and reptiles
As an exhausted parent myself I think the description of the triceratops was spot on
for the indominus rex you could probably also use the indoraptor as a juvenile. the indoraptor does have 2 white colors that make it look like an indominus rex and its also smaller. plus as headcannon since the indominus rex is very intelligent the juveniles have learnt that walking on all fours is easier than walking on their back legs
i have a combo! its Alamosaurus and Amargasaurus, with Alamosaurus being the adult and Amargasaurus being the baby. for imagination u could just say Amargasaurus's neck rises as it gets older, and it loses its second row of spikes when it hits maybe pushing subadult. u can imagine that the second row of spikes is only there for protection bc of predators, and one more thing u could imagine is more spikes and bumps grow around its body as it grows older to match the Alamosaurus. i hope u guys like this!!
The Indominus Rex has Majungasaurus DNA, so they may look similar due partially to that
8:16 It really does XD
that fits trike perfectly
I always thought that the minmi just looked like a tiny nodosaurus, with it being about half the size and the colors being able to be matched up well, I think that is the best duo for me, but I never really use nodosaurus, so I never have used that trick, but I may use it soon while building my Jurassic Park.
Some of these pairings have been suggested as actual adults and juveniles of each other like trike as young toro and draco and styraco as younger pachy
Another combination I really like is to do with the aquatics which you forgot to mention.
I like to use Attenborosaurus or Styxosaurus as the parent of the plesiosaurus.
I don't have those so I use elasmosaurus as the parent
I have another one for Rex:
Feathered Rex and Ovi
I also have some more Parent-Baby combinations:
Alamosaurus and Amargasaurus
Maaradactylus and Dimorphadon
Stygimoloch and Homolocepole
Velociraptor and Coel
Proceratosaurus and Oviraptor
Compy also works well as a hatchling as really any carnivore or it’s kinda a stretch but the Theri
I’ll edit this more as I find out some more new good parings
I personally think that with the right color scheme the indominus and jp3 raptors with the quills on their heads work really well but I generally try to avoid hybrids nowadays
I've done the Rex + Moros thing before, may have to try some of the other combos. The using variant designs as different species thing I've been doing for a while, and that would be a great idea for a tips video. My personal uses have been default Giganotosaurus as Mapusaurus, default Brachiosaurus as Giraffititan, default Dreadnoughtus as Australotitan and other giant sauropods in formations with them but not represented in game, Sauropelta and Polacanthus as nodosaurids in places with them but without representation in the game, and Parasaurolophus as Charonosaurus for Asia-themed enclosures.
0:35 suggestion, for the T-Rex teenager. Offspring is the yutyrannus with the fluffy T-Rex
Please read this it’s just a good suggestion
The standard Allosaurus makes for the perfect juvenile/subadult of the BaBR Allosaurus since the Fallen Kingdom design that Frontier's version is based on is the canonical juvenile itself.
I absolutely LOVE the moros and t rex together. They are so adorable. When dominion came out I immediately thought the moros looked a tiny accurate t rex. This video helps so much thank you❤
Oh my gosh, the baby t-rex improv is adorable!! I love it!!
i tend to use indoraptor as a young juvinile inominus, under the pretense of the limbs are larger at birth for a more versatile defence and offense, and as they grow they grow into the elongated arms and the big tow slower grows into a more sturdy and flat toe
A thing i used ti do back in JWE1 was having dracorex as the parenti and homalocephales as the Offspring
brilliant video as always, I’m now going to try this! 😊😊😊😊 I think your t-rex is the best one x
There were a few combos in here I hadn’t thought of. I like using some of these combos occasionally.
I really hope either babies are added to JWE 2 or are in JWE 3, these are great ideas!
Awesome video!!! My favorite represents for baby dinosaurs is have the default Kentros be the babies of the Camp Cretaceous Kentros :)
for the Giga i use the default as a female with the 2022 as a male
Something that I like to do is make JP trike be a younger version of JW trike. The JP trike would be maybe be a younger adult just recently going into adult hood. The JW trike would be more of a elder compared to the younger JP trike.
These are really good ideas. I will definitely be using some of these in my parks!
Hey Evo, I love your vids! But when is the park tour coming out for the 4 hour speed build park? I watched that video during school and absolutely loved it!
probably next week!
Ok!
Diplodocus as baby dreadnoughtes is my favourite substitution for a baby dreadnoughtes
Thanks for the new substitutions for baby Dino's , Very cool
i love this idea im definitly going to use this but evo i also just want to say that ive been here since 40k and that arizona park i sugested the spino skin its name was waffle remember what happend to waffle
Ok this is very smart I love your idea I am planning to get jwe2 soon and this is some new information
I think a pretty cool idea for a mechanic that Frontier could add, is the ability to create custom herds. This mechanic would add an incredible amount of freedom. For example, you can use the concept presented in your video in a reserve because the dinosaurs won't stray far from each other. They can make it a toggle-able setting that automatically makes species neutral to each other. Alternatively, they could simply make it as part of the settings for when you turn combat off and make dinosaurs neutral or friendly to each other in the current settings. This will allow you to make the illusion of baby dinosaurs in large habitats like a reserve, because the dinosaurs will stay grouped together.
8:20 new headcanon, because really, the trike looks exhausted XD
I love the vidio. Keep up the good work and post daily.
I will try my best ;)
Thanks for watching!
Definitely Minmi for Euoplocephalus! It works soo well.
I love this. I will definitly use this for my parks
Hey evo absolutely love your videos so creative and inspirational 🎉🎉❤❤
Thanks so much!!
@@EvolutionSquareyour welcome 🎉
3:31 you can also add compy to be a baby raptor that just came out of its egg
The two I really love to use sometimes is Maiasaura with edmontasaurus and homlosephle and pachysephalosaurus
What,, I'm in shock I mean wow creating a whole family of dinosaurs would look so nice in the enclosures
Last time you did the creation of nest for brachiosaurus that was also a wonderful way to present the habitat 🔥
Liked this idea very much definitely going to try it.
Hey Evo! Love all your videos!
Hey, thanks!!!
Hey evil you should do a park build with all parents and juveniles! This would be amazing! Love your channel!
This actually a really cool idea, I always wanted baby dinos
FUN FACT : there’s a theory that dracorex and stygimoloch are babies of pachycephalosaurus so you got one right
I know lol
ik it might sound strange but I use compy for infant acro/charcar/giga because in real life, there's a theory that some members of the compy family are actually baby charcarodontosaurids
8:21 When the Triceratops looked up I legit thought it was gonna start saying "When I was your age..."
ahahahahaha
"kids these days"
@@EvolutionSquare "Always thinking that Toro is my son"
This is a very Pokemon-esque approach and I LOVE IT lol
Another pair of Dino’s that I personally think work pretty well together is the suchomimus as the parent to the baryonyx
The 2001 female veloicraptor will also work good since it has a similar color with ghost and since the veloicraptor and indominus rex can speak to each other it's like it's telling the babies things.
I LOVE DOING THIS!!!! It’s amazing 😂
i love these ideas and i need these in my park
this inspired me to go give my dinos some babies thankyou for aall the amazing contet u make love ur vids ✌😇👍
0:42
Mother and father : *terrifying roar*
The baby : WAAAA
I loved the Trex and the sinosauropteryx
3:30 here's a fun fact. In the original Jurassic Park novel, there is a scene where raptors chase Tim and Lex into the nursery. In an attempt to distract the raptors, they throw a baby raptor at the big ones. The big ones look at it for a second, and then just casually tear it in half and eat it... y'know, as you do. This combined with a scene a little later where they are shown eating eggs, really confirms the "bird of prey" meaning that their name carries.
I miss when dinosaurs were scary.
The great thing about this is that you can recreate the scene from Michael Crichton's Lost World with the two featherless T-Rex parents and their reddish brown feathered baby.
I used those tiny things as the verlasser. After babies the scavengers , I think they are yeah , those things the ones who can kill something medium sized in groups
Biosym dlc also works with male and female skins for some nest, aka rock nests, habbit
I do use Homalocephale as baby Stygimoloch, used to use them for baby pachys but... these two look more alike.
This is a neat video, maybe a video about sexually dimorphic skin combinations and dinosaurs that can substitute as other species would be a cool idea s well. I've done all of these things since JWE 1 and they've definitely enhanced the experience for me. Especially as a predominantly Site B style player.
Though i do things a little differently, these are still nice options to have.
Using Moros as a hatchling Tyrannosaur is definitely a must. But i'd argue Qianzhousaurus is a better Juvenile / Subadult morph than Albertosaurus.
Since young Tyrannosaurs were a lot sleeker than their adult counterparts. Maybe Albertosaurus is a better canon option though.
I would also say Australovenator is great option for all of the large 3 fingered theropods in the game, especially Allosaurus. I'd even argue it's a better option for Indominus too.
Thank you evo for this video, when JWE2 got announced i was hoping that there might be some dinos that may fit for their younger or older self and you just gave me my next park build idea :)
edit:you missed the aquatics
So now that Spinoraptor is officially in - Infant Spinosaurus time
How 1 minute?!
Probably going to use Moros/Rex combo as Tyrannosaurus and Qianzhou/Rex combo as Tarbo when I get to play
If you wanna stretch it ovi and deinocheirus may work, amarga and alamo, metri and allo, Bary or sucho with austrailo, yutyrannus n moros, etc
The skin you gave to Struthiomimus si even very similar to the one the juvenile Gallimimus have in the first movie
with the right color matching, I really think an allosaurus, Indoraptor, or an albertosaurus could work well as adolescent Indominus Rex.
though the Indoraptor's animation (plus being so well known) might not work very well with the indom, though it's headshape, colors and quills all work well, and the Alberto and the Allo both have crests/sharp ridges above there eyes, and the Allo has the arms.
Smart ideas, thx ;D
I really liked the video and my favorite is t. rex and moros intrepidus! ;)
Hmm, you could make a whole park based around family units like this, maybe with an ark/sanctuary theme. Plus you could further add sexual dimorphism to add even more variety while retaining the idea they're the same species.
An idea for the diplodocus baby would be amargasaurus like after they reach adult they lose there big spike and grow smaller ones that the adults have (kinda leek teeth you know)
Brilliant stuff
Hm. Feels like Evo is watching me....
This is actually Briljant, i have not played the Game in a while, this makes me want to get back into, Thanks Evo😎
Baby rex and dreadnoughts looks 🆒😎
I think they should do a baby Dino pack with the baby’s that we see in the movie’s like baby Versions of T. rex, raptor, ankylosaurs,Triceratops etc
I used to do this in Genesis with Pachys and Homalocephalaes, Stegosaurus and Kenteosaurus
You could also use Dsungaripterus and Tapejara to simulate young and adult pterosaurs
I like the Idea of Herrerasaurus being the allosaurus offspring. It reminds me of The Dinosaur Revolution baby allosaurs.
thank u so much for makeing this vid it gives me lots of ideas
thank u so much evo
Evo really good idea: 2001 male raptor as juvenile indoraptor
Nice Video 👍
I cam up with one in my head it’s the all white indoraptor as a juvenile for the Indominus Rex
Is there any way I can make a video suggestion? I think a "grand canyon" build would be interesting: a large chasm in the center of the map with a river and foliage.
The One I Use The Most Is Moros And Trex And If Tarbo Gets Added It Could Be A Subadult
Je inspirereerd mij echt heel erg
I will def be using this in my parks
I made this one and I really liked it, the adult as the Pyroraptor and the moros as the baby (adult could also be the utahraptor*
Hey EVO for subadult allosaurus I recommend the metrocanthosaurus and for the giga it’s going to be megalosaurus or the default allosaurus
when i made jurassic park 1990, i used (my fav skin for it) the red Changosaueus (spelin) with the black stripes (same for rex) to create the juvie rex
and i do this a lot lol
2:07 and as well as the fact that Draco is actually the juvenile of pachy
I put Albertosaurus & Qianzhousaurus together since Qianzhousaurus looks like the teenager version, Also you had the same idea with the Compies, Raptors, Dimorphadon, Struthiomimus and Torosaurus.
I know this is really late but homalocephale and pachycephalosaurus makes a good combo
Evo could you please make a video going over the alternative species you could use the in game species for.
