- Finally got a little more on track with catching some fish. Not a great day but better than the last few trips I've been on.

Thx, I've been struggling pretty hard lately on catching fish. Lots of work, not a lot of results.
You're right about that creek mouth. I've caught it at the wrong tide and actually drug the kayak over that little island to save the bottom from the oysters. Love that creek though.
Yeah man, it holds some fish at high tide but recently that spot hasn't been producing for me...found a few new spots though! Thanks for watching and commenting.
What kind of white rod did you put through the bungee hole to hold your kayak? Thanks!

It's a stake out pole. I put it through the scupper hole in order to keep myself from drifting off a spot or getting pulled into the mangroves by a fish. Basically it's an anchor.
@@United_By_Water what is the tube diameter and length and how did you make the point on the bottom. Great idea and thanks!
@@highnoon116 5' long and 1" diameter (that's what fits my scupper holes - may not fit yours) and 5' long is my personal preference on length. Once I get any deeper than 5' I use my anchor trolley.

@@highnoon116 To get the sharp angle on the stake out pole, I used a hack saw. Hope it works for you.
