Its cool they're making an effort to compete with the office chairs. But they still have a lot of homework. I'm going on 3 years strong with my Steelcase Gesture and love it! I'm 6'2" for reference.
genuine question, its about 2k in my country, is that how much you spent? If so, why? Do you have a high income job or just invested into a chair that expensive? And is it that much better than other chairs such as the Ikea Markus?
@@fernoflake got it on a Black Friday deal saved like $500. Definitely was an investment. But the quality is up there with HM. But I understand people not wanting to buy basically a used car as a chair. My referral would be comparing the best of the best.
I am sick of these "work office" chairs like herman miller. I want a chair I can also play and relax in. I don't care about posture and sitting "correctly". I don't work at home. I want a chair to be able to lean back with a controller or even sleep in it for 10 minutes. Secretlab would be perfect but there is always something wrong with it quality wise and the seat is super firm
@@RestoranLaguna-kh4xx i have back problems and i really like this chair, its not the most soft chair so my ass will hurt after long use. But my back thanks me for that since i wont have back pain
Too much plastic and the build quality is nowhere near HM. The one I sat in creaked and squeaked and I'm not even a heavyboi. Same problem with the headrest. Very annoying. I would much rather get a used Aeron or Embody w/ Atlas headrest. I really wish HM made a Cosm with a locking back. That's my favorite chair, but it's designed for board room and not desk work or gaming.
@@BTaesthetics thanks brother definitely helps. I ended up getting an embody chair from my local DWR store. The sale right now on there Herman Millers seem really good and that 12 year warranty is some peace of mind. Although I have never tried the Destrier, I don't think I would like the seat being mesh. In the end, I think I would have been satisfied with either though.
I have this chair, and I hated the lumbar support so much that I had to remove it. It was too aggressive for my liking. Also, the headrest is bad too (I'll probably end up removing it too).
in Denmark i got the destirer for 500 dollars. An emobdy with an atlas headrest in denmark cost 2000 dollars. I could buy 4 destriers for the price of a single embody.

@@windiesel2826 gotcha. I think the most I'd spend on a chair is 500aud so that puts things into perspective
all gaming chairs suck Buy a HM & your back will be happy
HM all day but these new wave of chairs are promising
Brain washed and scammed by youtubers
I Got this chair for 400 dolllars in Denmark. A HM would run me 1600 dollars

@@RestoranLaguna-kh4xx very, it is comparable to a 500 dollar ergo chair tbh. But much cooler looking

Its going into the right direction 👀👍

Debating whether to get this chair or the G Embody with the Atlas headrest
embody wins everytime for working but this is better for reclining and relaxing. hope this helps!

Not a good chair for tall people!
At that price HM is a no brainer. I typically love Asus products but their CS is terrible getting a warranty claim ive read horror stories. Hard Pass.
