I’ve got the black atomizer version. 01/2019 batch. After 15-20 minutes, it dries down beautifully.. good projection, easily 4 hours.. lasts on my skin for 10-12 hours, a girl could detect it easily on my neck after an entire night out.. I think it works best with 5 sprays.. by the way, there’s a certain nose-blindness with this one, after 2 or 3 hours.. but don’t worry, the fragrance has sillage, people will notice that.. one of my best blind-buy of all time

This is my experience with CDIM. The first one I bought was from Amazon with the date of 8/17 made in France with Silver Cap. This was a beast, very smokey batch and so many compliments and my wife love it. It spelled great, never compared it to Aventus, thought it stood on its own. I purchased another bottle from Amazon last month and after reading some reviews online, I was hoping to get the silver cap bottle. Well, I received the new bottle with a black cap and I can tell you its not the same formula. This has no smoke and it was very high lemon smell. Its a shame if they changed the formulation because it sucks now. It is not that smokey and strong scent, it is very weak and you can hardly smell it on you. If they changed it, I will never buy it again. I was happy Amazon did a refund quickly. As for the people saying its the same, its not. If you have not tried the Silver Cap one from 2017 or before, then you don't know what you're talking about.
I had the same case with a 2017 batch and a 2018 batch both with a black sprayer. The 2018 batch smells of lemon only and has almost no smokey. Silage and duration are 1/3 less.It's a shame ARMAF!!!

Note- 10/2017 &11/2017 Are the reformulated ones you should be looking for. These are not far behind the pre formulated ones in terms of performance and smell. The differences are very slight, in-fact the reformulated ones are smoother that the old ones.
I have 10/2017 and 4/2018 made in UAE. So far, I feel 2018 is weaker but more fresh .. still can't judge but I feel the difference between the two batches.

I got CDNIM in 2021 it has a black atomiser I got a back up in 2022 it has a white atomiser like where the juice comes out is white and I can tell a difference with longevity and projection.
Yesterday at a buffet, somebody was wearing the old formulation but I couldn’t pinpoint the right person because the scent was everywhere lol. I purchased EDT 3 months ago just to relive that iconic smell again but sadly Armaf has changed the formulation of the EDT to make it smell closer to Creed Aventus. We did not appreciate how the 2017 EDT was because we all wanted something closer to the Aventus DNA

I own a batch made in September 2019. It’s a beast, the opening is not as harsh as people say, it lasts, performs and my is my wife’s fav’. It’s the best $35 I ever spent and I only wear it every once in a while.

I just got my bottle in the mail. 2020 bottle. I never had any of the other formulations but I can say this one smells great during the dry down and on. It lasts a good while also.

I have the reformulation version and it last 10 hours on my skin and it's on Indonesian's tropical climate. It's good but the opening still sharp and little bit harsh. But it settle down faster than the original formulation. Middle until dry down..beautiful..both of them..

I agree. Gave my old reform away as a gift and got new reform now. Initial impression was smoother fruitier opening which I enjoyed, but becomes a skin scent within an hour and then completely vanishes after that. I only enjoyed it for dry down and I don’t get any of it now. Can I have my gift back pls :/

I go 6-8 sprays of the 2018 bottle and it's my most complimented 100%. Really good longevity and sillage but you have to be quite heavy on the trigger to get the performance you want. 3-4 sprays won't cut it.

Thanks for the heads up. If you can, try Zara Vibrant Leather, smells amazing right from the start but not as powerful as the Armaf offering but still lasts me a good 10 hours and it smells amazing.

The black one doesn't last long on my skin at all. Maybe I'm getting some olfactory fatigue with it, but it lasts two hours on my skin. Clothes it lasts forever, I'll wash a shirt and it still has hints of the scent
I've got two different bottles of the black sprayer, one made 5/19 and the other an 11/19. I've read others comments of the 5/19 being a "beast" for them and that the current bottles with the club de nuit on the side pretty much being scented water. My 11/19 bottle is one of those with the club de nuit printed on the side yet the funny thing is it is much stronger than my 5/19 bottle and also lasts longer too

Had the silver atomizer and eventually sold it because the Lemon Pledge opening was off-putting. Tried the black atomizer last weak and the opening was much better. I guess harsher means better performance to most.

I prefer the new formulation as well. I didn't get beast performance from the original formulation as others claim, both projected VERY strongly for me in the first hour then becomes much mellower, and I got average to underaverage longevity overall with both. I find the reformulation less harsh in its opening which I prefer.

I’ve got the black spray plus the bling and lid tight to turn?? Very strong opening but settles to Aventus in about 30 minutes. Mine was Feb 2019 France and came from Israel. I have put Aventus and Club de Nuit on seperate arms and asked people to compare and none have been able to tell the difference. I’ve saved myself $380 and the average person can’t tell the difference. Thanks Armaf great job. Liked your review😊👍

I have 03/18 batch, i certainly thinks this one better than the old ones 2016 UAE batch i had, the new ones are very smooth from scratch to the dry down, they last less? i don't think so. absolutely solid 6 hours of brilliant performance, can still smell it the next day.

I have february 2018 and it lasts. I do go noseblind though, even after an hour. Im sure youre going noseblind. Stop digging your nose in it and checking
hey it's just your noise can't detect after hour else people smell for atleast 4 hrs... so don't think reapplying is a good idea ... atleast wait for 5 hrs if your doing on clothes ..
1) Where did you buy your bottle? 2) What's the batch date? 3) How does your box look? Did it look like it was used before and had ragged flaps like several of mine did. 4) If you hold it up to the light, do you see scratches on either side of the bottle? 5) Do you recall if you had a decent spray the first time you pumped the atomizer? It usually takes one or two pumps to get any juice to come out. If you get a good spray the first time, the bottle has been used before I've returned more than a few bottles over the last month. They were obviously repacked. Scratches on the bottles, loose atomizer, used looking box, spray the first time, etc. Here's a photo of the one that Amazon sent and refunded. Check the placement of the medallion and the condition of the box/insert. i.imgur.com/kOOq21m.jpg What's happening is that many are getting tainted bottles that may have been used testers and are partially being refilled (hopefully with just water). If you check Amazon or Fragantica, you'll notice that there are opposite reviews for the same batch date. Another possibility is that these bottles are stored in horrific environmental conditions before sale, but judging from the condition of the bottles and boxes I've personally seen and from photos posted to Amazon by others, many being sold have been tampered with.

The reformulation is da bomb!!!!! I LOVE it!!! It’s super close to aventus. I hate the citrus opening of the original. At first I thought my head was messing with me. Thanks for this, I’m not crazy then haha. Reformulation smells more natural and organic imo

The 2019 batch is too 🔥.... It's super strong for the first 2 hours then gets lighter. It's easy to get nose blind but I'd say 4-5 hours if quality wear... Where this batch sticks out is the opening isn't bad at all, u can spray and go, making this a bottle you can reapply vs the old one were it's one and done.

That's false that it doesn't project or last as long, I have one of those with the words printed on the side and it performs better than and is also much stronger than my 5/19 bottle. I literally have to double up the sprays of the 5/19 to equal the potency of my 11/19 "reformulation"

Its kinda informative since I have a bottle (Made In Dubai) from so long & never sniffed any other batch / re formulated once. Mine is super long lasting and trust me even in Houston’s humid weather , I can smell it a week later. Only one issue, if I want to use it I need to spray it 1-1.5 hr before I leave out , you know the drill with all the openings of synthetic mess😅

I have the same batch and it is a beast. I usually do three sprays. I do one on each wrist and one on the back of my neck. It’s my wife’s favorite and when we are in the same room she always accuses me of over-spraying.

The original formulation also had a black atomiser. I've had several bottles. The reformulated version is weaker, not as musky and not as strong. Reformulation is sucks.

The best clone of creed I found is from alt fragrance. It's called executive. Last all day, and smells 99 percent to creed aventus. Sillage is perfect too. Well worth the money.
@@filaytake1014 Copycat Fragrances make Executive. It's a decent clone but I don't think it's as good as CDNIM. I've tried them both, as well as real Aventus. My favourite clone is the CDNIM "Limited Edition" EDP though.

I've already posted here my feelings about what's going on with these bottles. How about this one - I received an obviously used 12/17 bottle with the black atomizer assembly and a SILVER nozzle cap! Someone probably was reflling a bunch of bottles and threw on whatever cap was around from a pile of caps.
Why would anyone do this?! You're implying that someone is buying CDNI to refill Aventus bottles, then refill CDNI bottles with, what? Grain alcohol? Some other clone oil? For what it's worth - I just got a 12/2017 bottle with the same circumstances in a batch of 4 scents I purchased. It has a newer silver cap with armaf logo on it, but it doesn't seat correctly because the tube is too high (tube was intended for the OLD silver cap, not the newer black or silver cap), so there's an empty space between the sprayer and the bottle. Honestly I think it's just bad QA. I mean, they're pumping out THOUSANDS of bottles, and they're all processed by HAND! As for the boxes, the cardboard doesn't allow for much bending and when you bend the flaps back, the cardboard tears at the seams. This isn't just an issue with CDNI, I've seen this in many new boxes of Armaf fragrances, like Tag Him Prestige and original Tag Him. I've seen it in others too but I can't remember if it was Derby Clubhouse Blanche or their Fierce clone. And who knows, they're all clones, maybe it is happening, even with those too. Anyway, I'm not saying it's not possible, because it totally is. It would be lucrative, I mean, counterfeit Aventus fetching $200, then still selling CDNI for $25, but the problem comes with selling CDNI - it's HEAVY! Any ebay seller knows it costs $7.35 to ship CDNI. If you're adding anything to it besides grain alcohol, then that costs money. Wrapping it in cellophane again costs money unless they're reusing the cellophane, which is nearly impossible to do. Used CDNI goes for less than $25, usually $23. The math is: 23 - 2.3 ebay fees = 20.7 - 1.15 PayPal fees = 19.55 - 7.35 shipping = $12.20 profit, minus whatever was put in the CDNI bottle and whatever rewrapping in cellophane costs, but if it's cellophane wrapped they'd be able to sell it new for $4 more. It just doesn't seem worth the work! Plus they'd already be profiting the $200 from the counterfeit Aventus, so why bother? But again, I'm not saying it isn't possible. Also: from what I can tell, they went from the original tall silver sprayers with no logo to black with an armaf logo, then briefly to a silver with an armaf logo (12/2017), then back to the black sprayers with the armaf logo.
@@TonyB851 They're possibly being refilled with water. Some guess they're selling partially refilled testers. I've returned a few over the last year. Remember that most Ebay sellers don't really have any stock and their "stores" are just photos. Their bottles are being drop shipped from larger discounters. @@shave-a-thon3415 I dunno, I believe the bottle you were complaining about was a 12/2017 bottle, ALL of which were just like this, silver sprayer with the armaf logo that didn't fit correctly, juice was not that good, not lasting at all. That's what I've found out, everyone with a 12/2017 bottle was unhappy, as was I with mine.
@@TonyB851 I also returned an Oct. 2017 bottle and a March, 2018 bottle. All were obviously used before and repackaged. I'm going to order another one from a large seller that I've been told isn't sending out used bottles. I have a feeling that all who are complaining aren't noticing that first spray and examining their bottle closely enough. I've also been sent boxes that looked like they were opened numerous times (worn flaps) and torn cardboard was inside. I was also sent a used bottle of Craze that I returned that had scratches etched into the glass along with a black particle floating around inside. Once again, the first spray was perfect and the smell was off. Most buyers are young and don't realize that many are out there to make a buck.

Why fragrances refomulate? The original will be downgraded bcoz it is change not the reason to make it better or worst. Hope they dont make it reformulated bcoz maybe it's some kind of a lie in the fragrance industry

I have a bottle of 07/2016 release (with a silver spray) , as well as a bottle of 01/2018 release ( with a black spray) and both of them are simply incomparable ! They are delicious ! I just sniff and sniff them every day and I can't take my nose off . It smells fantastic! Durability and plume are very good. Both are made in France. There is also a batch of 12/2018 and this is already very bad.... it smells like plastic.... you can immediately see that the fragrance was reformulated and changed and disfigured for the worse. I also tried a batch of 2020 release - the beginning of some kind of nuclear, very chemical, and after an hour the flavor disappears altogether. I've already read about the 2019 issues that this is a very bad smell. Unfortunately, this is it. We still hope to try the Limited Edition version. There are more positive reviews about it on various sources, but there are also negative ones. And as I understand it, it also all depends on the month of release of the bottle.

I’ve got the black atomizer version. 01/2019 batch. After 15-20 minutes, it dries down beautifully.. good projection, easily 4 hours.. lasts on my skin for 10-12 hours, a girl could detect it easily on my neck after an entire night out.. I think it works best with 5 sprays.. by the way, there’s a certain nose-blindness with this one, after 2 or 3 hours.. but don’t worry, the fragrance has sillage, people will notice that.. one of my best blind-buy of all time

This is my experience with CDIM. The first one I bought was from Amazon with the date of 8/17 made in France with Silver Cap. This was a beast, very smokey batch and so many compliments and my wife love it. It spelled great, never compared it to Aventus, thought it stood on its own. I purchased another bottle from Amazon last month and after reading some reviews online, I was hoping to get the silver cap bottle. Well, I received the new bottle with a black cap and I can tell you its not the same formula. This has no smoke and it was very high lemon smell. Its a shame if they changed the formulation because it sucks now. It is not that smokey and strong scent, it is very weak and you can hardly smell it on you. If they changed it, I will never buy it again. I was happy Amazon did a refund quickly. As for the people saying its the same, its not. If you have not tried the Silver Cap one from 2017 or before, then you don't know what you're talking about.
I had the same case with a 2017 batch and a 2018 batch both with a black sprayer. The 2018 batch smells of lemon only and has almost no smokey. Silage and duration are 1/3 less.It's a shame ARMAF!!!

Are the reformulated ones you should be looking for. These are not far behind the pre formulated ones in terms of performance and smell.
The differences are very slight, in-fact the reformulated ones are smoother that the old ones.
I had a 10/17 and it was very weak, but if you read my other replies here, you 'll see why I believe that.
I have 10/2017 and 4/2018 made in UAE. So far, I feel 2018 is weaker but more fresh .. still can't judge but I feel the difference between the two batches.

I got CDNIM in 2021 it has a black atomiser I got a back up in 2022 it has a white atomiser like where the juice comes out is white and I can tell a difference with longevity and projection.
Yesterday at a buffet, somebody was wearing the old formulation but I couldn’t pinpoint the right person because the scent was everywhere lol. I purchased EDT 3 months ago just to relive that iconic smell again but sadly Armaf has changed the formulation of the EDT to make it smell closer to Creed Aventus. We did not appreciate how the 2017 EDT was because we all wanted something closer to the Aventus DNA

I just got my bottle in the mail. 2020 bottle. I never had any of the other formulations but I can say this one smells great during the dry down and on. It lasts a good while also.

I have the reformulation version and it last 10 hours on my skin and it's on Indonesian's tropical climate. It's good but the opening still sharp and little bit harsh. But it settle down faster than the original formulation. Middle until dry down..beautiful..both of them..

The re-form is better. Armaf actually did this to make the scent smell more like Aventus. Agree 💯

I agree. Gave my old reform away as a gift and got new reform now. Initial impression was smoother fruitier opening which I enjoyed, but becomes a skin scent within an hour and then completely vanishes after that. I only enjoyed it for dry down and I don’t get any of it now. Can I have my gift back pls :/

I go 6-8 sprays of the 2018 bottle and it's my most complimented 100%. Really good longevity and sillage but you have to be quite heavy on the trigger to get the performance you want. 3-4 sprays won't cut it.

The black one doesn't last long on my skin at all. Maybe I'm getting some olfactory fatigue with it, but it lasts two hours on my skin. Clothes it lasts forever, I'll wash a shirt and it still has hints of the scent
I've got two different bottles of the black sprayer, one made 5/19 and the other an 11/19. I've read others comments of the 5/19 being a "beast" for them and that the current bottles with the club de nuit on the side pretty much being scented water. My 11/19 bottle is one of those with the club de nuit printed on the side yet the funny thing is it is much stronger than my 5/19 bottle and also lasts longer too

Had the silver atomizer and eventually sold it because the Lemon Pledge opening was off-putting. Tried the black atomizer last weak and the opening was much better. I guess harsher means better performance to most.

I prefer the new formulation as well. I didn't get beast performance from the original formulation as others claim, both projected VERY strongly for me in the first hour then becomes much mellower, and I got average to underaverage longevity overall with both. I find the reformulation less harsh in its opening which I prefer.

I’ve got the black spray plus the bling and lid tight to turn?? Very strong opening but settles to Aventus in about 30 minutes. Mine was Feb 2019 France and came from Israel. I have put Aventus and Club de Nuit on seperate arms and asked people to compare and none have been able to tell the difference. I’ve saved myself $380 and the average person can’t tell the difference. Thanks Armaf great job. Liked your review😊👍

SteveRandom it is the best scent on my cheaper collection and i do get lots if compliments but i need to reapply after an hour that's why i always bring my atomizer with me. I'm looking forward to buy the one made in Dubai maybe this will work on me. Thanks for replying.
I have february 2018 and it lasts. I do go noseblind though, even after an hour. Im sure youre going noseblind. Stop digging your nose in it and checking
hey it's just your noise can't detect after hour else people smell for atleast 4 hrs... so don't think reapplying is a good idea ... atleast wait for 5 hrs if your doing on clothes ..
1) Where did you buy your bottle?
2) What's the batch date?
3) How does your box look? Did it look like it was used before and had ragged flaps like several of mine did.
4) If you hold it up to the light, do you see scratches on either side of the bottle?
5) Do you recall if you had a decent spray the first time you pumped the atomizer? It usually takes one or two pumps to get any juice to come out. If you get a good spray the first time, the bottle has been used before
I've returned more than a few bottles over the last month. They were obviously repacked. Scratches on the bottles, loose atomizer, used looking box, spray the first time, etc. Here's a photo of the one that Amazon sent and refunded. What's happening is that many are getting tainted bottles that may have been used testers and are partially being refilled (hopefully with just water). If you check Amazon or Fragantica, you'll notice that there are opposite reviews for the same batch date. Another possibility is that these bottles are stored in horrific environmental conditions before sale, but judging from the condition of the bottles and boxes I've personally seen and from photos posted to Amazon by others, many being sold have been tampered with.

The reformulation is da bomb!!!!! I LOVE it!!! It’s super close to aventus. I hate the citrus opening of the original. At first I thought my head was messing with me. Thanks for this, I’m not crazy then haha. Reformulation smells more natural and organic imo

The 2019 batch is too 🔥.... It's super strong for the first 2 hours then gets lighter. It's easy to get nose blind but I'd say 4-5 hours if quality wear... Where this batch sticks out is the opening isn't bad at all, u can spray and go, making this a bottle you can reapply vs the old one were it's one and done.

I believe its been reformulated again, doesn’t project and last as long, and another give away is on the bottle club de nuit is written on it
That's false that it doesn't project or last as long, I have one of those with the words printed on the side and it performs better than and is also much stronger than my 5/19 bottle. I literally have to double up the sprays of the 5/19 to equal the potency of my 11/19 "reformulation"

Have both, the only difference to me is the opening. I get great longevity from both 8-9 for the reform, 10-12 for the silver

Its kinda informative since I have a bottle (Made In Dubai) from so long & never sniffed any other batch / re formulated once.
Mine is super long lasting and trust me even in Houston’s humid weather , I can smell it a week later.
Only one issue, if I want to use it I need to spray it 1-1.5 hr before I leave out , you know the drill with all the openings of synthetic mess😅

Its quite strange, I have one with black atomiser, made in France, in 2018 and the opening is really fresh, and strong then its settle down, and its last for long-long (about 8) hours

The original formulation also had a black atomiser. I've had several bottles. The reformulated version is weaker, not as musky and not as strong. Reformulation is sucks.

The best clone of creed I found is from alt fragrance. It's called executive. Last all day, and smells 99 percent to creed aventus. Sillage is perfect too. Well worth the money.
What is the brand that makes executive?
@@filaytake1014 Copycat Fragrances make Executive. It's a decent clone but I don't think it's as good as CDNIM. I've tried them both, as well as real Aventus. My favourite clone is the CDNIM "Limited Edition" EDP though.

I've already posted here my feelings about what's going on with these bottles. How about this one - I received an obviously used 12/17 bottle with the black atomizer assembly and a SILVER nozzle cap! Someone probably was reflling a bunch of bottles and threw on whatever cap was around from a pile of caps.
Why would anyone do this?! You're implying that someone is buying CDNI to refill Aventus bottles, then refill CDNI bottles with, what? Grain alcohol? Some other clone oil?
For what it's worth - I just got a 12/2017 bottle with the same circumstances in a batch of 4 scents I purchased. It has a newer silver cap with armaf logo on it, but it doesn't seat correctly because the tube is too high (tube was intended for the OLD silver cap, not the newer black or silver cap), so there's an empty space between the sprayer and the bottle. Honestly I think it's just bad QA. I mean, they're pumping out THOUSANDS of bottles, and they're all processed by HAND! As for the boxes, the cardboard doesn't allow for much bending and when you bend the flaps back, the cardboard tears at the seams. This isn't just an issue with CDNI, I've seen this in many new boxes of Armaf fragrances, like Tag Him Prestige and original Tag Him. Anyway, I'm not saying it's not possible, because it totally is. It would be lucrative, I mean, counterfeit Aventus fetching $200, then still selling CDNI for $25, but the problem comes with selling CDNI - it's HEAVY! Any ebay seller knows it costs $7.35 to ship CDNI. If you're adding anything to it besides grain alcohol, then that costs money. Wrapping it in cellophane again costs money unless they're reusing the cellophane, which is nearly impossible to do. Used CDNI goes for less than $25, usually $23. The math is: 23 - 2.3 ebay fees = 20.7 - 1.15 PayPal fees = 19.55 - 7.35 shipping = $12.20 profit, minus whatever was put in the CDNI bottle and whatever rewrapping in cellophane costs, but if it's cellophane wrapped they'd be able to sell it new for $4 more. It just doesn't seem worth the work! Plus they'd already be profiting the $200 from the counterfeit Aventus, so why bother? But again, I'm not saying it isn't possible.
Also: from what I can tell, they went from the original tall silver sprayers with no logo to black with an armaf logo, then briefly to a silver with an armaf logo (12/2017), then back to the black sprayers with the armaf logo.

Many Ebay sellers don't realize they might be shipping repackaged and tampered with bottles. Remember that most Ebay sellers don't really have any stock and their "stores" are just photos. Their bottles are being drop shipped from larger discounters. All the discounters have wholesale pages with drop shipping options. @@shave-a-thon3415 I dunno, I believe the bottle you were complaining about was a 12/2017 bottle, ALL of which were just like this, silver sprayer with the armaf logo that didn't fit correctly, juice was not that good, not lasting at all. That's what I've found out, everyone with a 12/2017 bottle was unhappy, as was I with mine.
@@TonyB851 I also returned an Oct. 2017 bottle and a March, 2018 bottle. All were obviously used before and repackaged. I'm going to order another one from a large seller that I've been told isn't sending out used bottles. I have a feeling that all who are complaining aren't noticing that first spray and examining their bottle closely enough. I've also been sent boxes that looked like they were opened numerous times (worn flaps) and torn cardboard was inside. I was also sent a used bottle of Craze that I returned that had scratches etched into the glass along with a black particle floating around inside. Once again, the first spray was perfect and the smell was off. Most buyers are young and don't realize that many are out there to make a buck.

Why fragrances refomulate? The original will be downgraded bcoz it is change not the reason to make it better or worst. Hope they dont make it reformulated bcoz maybe it's some kind of a lie in the fragrance industry

I have a bottle of 07/2016 release (with a silver spray) , as well as a bottle of 01/2018 release ( with a black spray) and both of them are simply incomparable ! They are delicious ! I just sniff and sniff them every day and I can't take my nose off . It smells fantastic! Durability and plume are very good. Both are made in France. There is also a batch of 12/2018 and this is already very bad.... it smells like plastic.... you can immediately see that the fragrance was reformulated and changed and disfigured for the worse. I also tried a batch of 2020 release - the beginning of some kind of nuclear, very chemical, and after an hour the flavor disappears altogether. I've already read about the 2019 issues that this is a very bad smell. Unfortunately, this is it. We still hope to try the Limited Edition version. There are more positive reviews about it on various sources, but there are also negative ones. And as I understand it, it also all depends on the month of release of the bottle.

I own the 2015 & a 2017, and I have the say that the 2017 is a better blended CDNIM. As far as longevity, I get better longevity with the 2015, its more smokey, and the 2017 is a bit more fresher version
