Stuart, is the orange/yellow display a function of the video or is this the actual colour? Also do you know if this can be changed to match the blue/grey of other AEG ovens?
Jonathan Yates just wondering that myself.. in the manual it says remove all before using microwave function. Can anyone confirm whether or not you need to remove these before using microwave?
@@engaturk I found the solution. I was just placing the bag of copcorn directly in the oven. I just thought of placing the bag ON A DISH inside the oven and it worked perfectly!!!
I want to buy this 😂 but my bulit in oven I have now I can’t use and it’s simple! I put my dinner in the oven, when back to turn the food over and it wasn’t cooked, and that’s because I put in on the setting where it keeps your food warm once it’s cooked 😂 then I put it on another setting where it cleans your oven. So again it didn’t cook my food. I had UA-cam the settings, how to set timer ect because I thought my oven was broke 🤦♀️🙄 my food was in for over an hour and it didn’t cook cos I put on a wrong setting twice 😂😂😂😂😫
Imagine being this incompetent, companies are designing some of the most sophisticated appliances we have ever seen, capable of doing tasks we once thought of as a dream. For people like you to walk along and say you require a degree is nonsense. Simply put it, you're too stupid to operate an oven 👍🏽
I think this is an uncomplete review. Have they (AEG) invented better microwaves that don't need an assisting rotating plate? I doubt that. The rotation plate is needed to heat the food all around during the microwave heating.
That is true, this microwave/oven is more orientated on the oven function, since there is no rotating plate. The best combi's have a rotating plate that you can stop rotating when using the oven function. This information was provide by a Dutch government affiliated organisation, so no bs.
This microwave oven has a rotating antenna (located on the ceiling, and covered by a protection), which distributes the waves in the same manner of a rotating plate.
@@jamkop5298 No, this a conclusion based on your experience only, not on the reality. There's a lot of ways to assure a good microwaves distribution: this oven has a rotating antenna on the ceiling (hidden under a protective cover) which assure a proper microwave distribution
Is it safe to use in microwave mode with the metal shelf and supports?
Thank you for this I always find the instructions difficult to follow

I'm scared. How about the steel inside? Isn't it gonna spark.. I felt like it almost sparked when I started it. I quickly shut it down..
Just had one of these fitted, are you sure you should use the microwave with the shelf and supports still in?

jpMustaparta I take the tray and shelf out and put whatever container I am using on an upturned plate
How do you remove the door on this oven, mine needs a good clean, help please!
Can I heat my coffee?
How do you make popcorn in this? it just does not work, I only get like half of the bag and they are burnt...
I have the same problem! How do u do popcorn?

Mine cant heat the middle of a plate
Same screen, most functions and most symbols on the Ikea Finsmakare combioven. No AEG symbol on that tho.
Finsmakare is an AEG microwave combi oven branded IKEA, same oven with less functions because is cheaper
It’s a great grill but as a microwave is very dissatisfying
You have to have a bloody degree in AEG Appliances to work this thing can’t stand it

Carl-Johan Arenander there have been microwaves with non turntable plates for years ....! I'm on my 3rd one in fact.
