Love the look but I think I would keep reaching in thinking I am grabbing a beer. Some issues I see are getting the actual wood flavor. Masterbuilt gravity smokers some put chunks in the stack or in the ash pan to smolder for the smoke. Also the set up part of having to reach that far into the cabinet to ignite. You have to ignite and then close and attach the fan? That seems a little sketchy in that small space. Finally as a built in type smoker that low to the ground I bet cleaning is a real fun experience. I had an old 30” electric smoker with no legs and that worked but sucked to clean. Got the legs to raise it up for accessing food easier. Helped save my back.
Overall it looks great but would love to see it in action to see if those issues are issue or not. The fact that you basically have a countertop on it helps in any cooking situation.

Nice looking exterior but the mechanics seem way more cobbled together than I’d expect - especially in this price range. For instance, there is nothing wrong with the DigiQ controller - great device and I’m sure it works well. But, at this price I can’t imagine having one stuck on as if it’s an aftermarket purchase vs some type of integrated control panel. I can’t believe the same engineers who designed the gaucho grill with the fantastic lift mechanism designed this.

Sorry but this is a hard no, was the person who designed this an idiot? For what you pay for this I would expect auto ignite, Bluetooth or WiFi and an app.

Next level design and finish? It has a plumbers ball valve as an air regulator? With Kalamazoo I can only guess it’s 10k or more. It seems like my grand dad had stuff in his garage and put this together. Pass
