great videos, nice to have an insight into these machines, and the tools they use, PS: just some constructive criticism, the shanks you are holding at 4:24 are called just 'taps' the 'tapping tools' are the holders or tap handles/wrenches you turn a tap with, or in your case the whole assembly, not just the tap itself, the unit which cuts the internal threads.
Approximately how many threads can make taping tool before have to replace. I ask about M4 taping tool making thread in 1.5mm mild steel extruded hole. Thanks!
This is hard to say. It depends also how well the tapping tool was lubricated. I have never counted the tapped holes. Since you are asking about mild steel 1.5 mm it might be around couple of thousand holes. Keep on mind that these tapping tools don't cut the materia in threadl but they roll the material.
Hello Raja, I don't have a access to any machine now. I would say, it will be very similar to any other machines. Most important is to set up the tool correctly and then set up the parameters for UDP (how high is the tool above the sheet surface) and then the C-axis rotation (how deep the thread former goes)
Hello Mr X, unfortunately I don't have access to a machine L2530. You can ask your employer to provide you an "Operators manual" for your machine. There should be written everything about operation the machine (changing tables, correction laser technology, tapeshot (centering the beam) and so on). I wish you good luck! Thank you Petr
Hello Konstantin, please take a look at my video "Punching tools part 2" where is a link for Trumpf punching tools PDF in the description. In that PDF at the page 72 you can find what machines is this tool suitable for. (the machine 5000R is there as well). Thank you Petr
@@shanmugasundaramshammu There are two different types of tapping tools. I don't mean the size of a thread dereference, but I mean the difference in the tool itself (the shape of the entire tool). You have to use the correct tool for correct machine. Be careful.
