Jorja explained that the technicians messed their songs up a bit on the MOBO awards, regardless they're incredible. I'm excited for their future!
I swear, the MOBO Awards performance in London wasn't awful, it just wasn't up to the really high standards we have come to expect from them. They'll learn, grow & become better with each experience of performing in big, televised arenas.
I've noticed that whenever they perform in front of a big crowd, they get really nervous and their voices get shaky, especially Jorja. I noticed this when they performed on Fallon and MOBO. They just need to practice more in front of a big crowd and then they'll be fine.
@@pastelpastry Yes. I've noticed the nerves too in those specific situations. MNEK needs to get their support team to address it head on. While he's at it, I can see future criticisms, as the group grows, levelled at Renee for not having the same variety of range as the other two. I can tell her voice is capable of it, so it's not a matter of lack of talent. She needs to take a leaf out of Leigh-Anne's (from Little Mix) book. She saw the negative comparison, so took it upon herself to relentlessly train her voice to improve... & it did. Her singing in the movie 'Boxing Day' is leaps & bounds above how she would have sung it at the beginning of her career. I don't want the only fully-Black member of the group being labelled as the weakest link.🖤
@@ameliacraiig4193 the thing with rennée is that she can hit the notes in some of their live performances or some videos of them ive seen online she just doesn’t do it as often in their actual songs she needs to showcase her talent more, i think we had a glimpse of it on their newest song Losing You

@@smoovveeeshe’s clearly comfortable in her lower register though. Asking her to go above her range because the other ladies can is ridiculous. It’s not always about high notes. She plays a BIG part in the groups harmonies and sound. Why change that? Critics will always be there. If anything the other ladies should find ways to let her shine in her range, which they do.
