I've had my General about a month now, and the FT-710 AESS for almost as long. LOVE the radio. Hooked up a computer monitor to it, slapped in a mouse and a headset - AND LIFE IS GOOD. My wife can hardly get me out of the shack (a Bully Barn) and into the house for dinner. Yup, it IS that much fun. My very second contact EVER (from the Reno area) was Australia! Next longest was Italy. Hurry up and get in while the getting is good - 🤣
What are you using for an antenna. i just recieved a signature 9 from DX commander. and my 710 should be here in another week or so(on back order). 10 meter is suppose to be good right now , so am looking to use what i can for now@@MrTommy001
new ham.. taking the general test next month. was looking at the 991a but i think im going with the 710.
