Hey everyone this is Lee and Sam we are clean still and still fighting for our little girl we want to thank everyone for they're support and the funny comments we will keep you posted and mark is coming back to film us in 3 weeks after we find out if we're getting our baby back also those of you that are wondering about Samm she recorded a video before Lee and can also be found in marks videos thanks again guys
I hope you both get to the point where you feel like “give me boredom... please”. No matter what happens, don’t let anything trigger using. Your addiction will do anything to get you to pick up again. It’s suicide on the installment plan. Stay well and stay clean.
Y'all hang in there!!! Stay on the Suboxone!!! I've been on it 9 years and have no plans of going off of it!! It saved my life!!! My ex boyfriend was from Glenville WV. It's beautiful up there but you're right, there's nothing up there as far as jobs or recreation!!! Nothing but the mountains and the hollers!!! I wish y'all light, luck and much love!!!
Hey y'all, I pray that y'all fight for that baby girl, fight to stay clean, fight to give her the life that you wanted and never got, Sam! Please, do it for your babies. Get her back, and stay clean so you can have a relationship with your other babies. ❤❤❤ Prayin y'all make it, day by day.

There's just something so real about these people and the honesty of these interviews that's so compelling. My grandma was from Tennessee and she was the youngest out of 12 children. When she was 13, she married a 28 year old alcoholic just to get off the farm. She led an incredible life. She even rode a motorcycle in the circus at one point.
My grandma was from North Carolina and she married and divorced a few alcoholics herself. She was 14 when she married her first husband (which is my grandpa).
I've been there, myself. I quit everything, after a 22-year addiction to many drugs, including cigarettes. Life is better, stable, but sobriety can be hella boring sometimes. Nevertheless, I'd never choose to go back to those uncertain times.
I hear you on that Man. Being sober is really boring. For me what helps is the psychedelics shrooms, Molly, DMT and Special K. Better then the shit I was on. I hate withdrawals they are they worst. Thank You for Sharing. I always read the comments to find people to relate too. Makes me feel less alone other men out here lived lives worth learning from. May Peace Be With You David. 🙏🤙
@@intoodeepstl314 Right. When I start to feel the boredom is becoming oppressive, that's when I have to be most vigilant, and remind myself that I have to alter my perspective. Lee has a strong will power and strong mentality. I can tell by some of the comments he made. When he said he has to crash after 3 days, he’s crashing. And how he tells people they need to go to sleep when they start seeing shadows after not sleeping for several days, rather than being so addicted to the feel good high, he’d rather sleep. Lee and Sam aren’t too far gone, there’s hope!! Y’all can do this, especially for your little girl! She needs y’all, y’all need her! I’m praying for all 3 of you!

He needs to have his ass beat into shape. Right now he thinks he can have his cake and eat it too. He is all talk. I hope that child is kept as far away from him and Sam as possible.
I’m praying for you Lee. My Daughter passed unexpectedly 8 years ago. Hard, so hard. She had one child. My only Grandson. He was bright, wonderful sense of humor and had his mother’s smile. His father remarried almost immediately. He was so broken, he was easy prey for the drug culture. I had just convinced him to move in with me last year. We were going to work on healing. He took his life 8 months ago.
@@Enochulate88 He used Kratom(Kradom?) idk. He said it helped some. He went into a rage while visiting his dad. His dad told him he better leave. He tried all his life to please his dad. He told me he had never had that, “out of control” before. Thank you for your kind words.

he's not perfect but he definitely has a good head on his shoulders. he recognizes the importance of his family, acknowledges his mistakes, cares about his child and is still working. hope he gets clean if that's his goal, he can definitely do it.
Mark's favorite question they all love is " what makes you stay here, why dont you leave " Because it is the solution, answer... they never thought of. Amazing!
These photos are beautiful...they should be published in a book....just found this channel at 2 am and I guess it’s going too be a long night....thank you for these interviews
I'm from and still live in a small town in western NC called Robbinsville where the movie Nell was filmed and this is just like the way things are here. It's gotten so bad and it's so sad, it breaks my heart. I never thought I'd ever see ppl sleeping outside on benches or on the sidewalks. And the really bad thing is it's just gonna get worse. There are so.much drugs in this town it's scary! We've had so many drug related deaths over the last few years it's just unreal, they're dropping like flies. I thank God everyday my husband and I got away from it when we did and don't miss it at all! And what he says about it being the only thing to do is sad but very true and all the Bible thumping hypocrites wonder why everybodys hooked on drugs and girls are pregnant at the age of 12 and 13?! And it is the sad reality that that's all there is. Where I live, you have to drive 30 min to an hour either way in order just to go to the movies or even to go to Walmart, we seriously don't have shit here. Everything this dude says is absolutely true!!
I am from Harlan County KY, and drugs have torn that place and people to pieces. I left about 5 or 6 years ago, when he says there's nothing in these places believe him. That's why so many get caught up in drugs. This dude still has a level head to him. I hope he and Sam gets out of the drugs before it's to late, he seems like a good dude.
What a good guy Lee is. You can tell how much he loves his family. Meth is hard to get off of. Getting used to the sober sex and things like that is tough. I used to be a heroin addict. Off and on homeless etc. I havent shot dope in 8 yrs. Im starting to miss it more and more. Best wishes for Lee and Samm. They're such lovely folks.
The opening made me so sick. I was a child of meth users an could you imagine the things I have seen as a child. Ugh seemed to last a life time an wishing it would end.12 hours plus i know. Imagine being a child in this world. I did not have a good time or childhood.
I'm so sorry you went through this, but thank you for sharing and showing the destruction it causes from the child's perspective. Praying these two get their priorities straight and make the right decisions for the children.
I saw samm first and then lee's before realizing lee was samms lee! One sad and rightly so. Other funny and lighthearted. Both have the same beautiful dream that they will get their daughter back. Blessings for you both .
Thank you for being so honest. I have family, friends, & people in the community who have been struggling with meth and more. Good smart people who made a bad choice, and most continue to make bad choices, because this horrible drug has a grip on them. 😢 heartbreaking.
I have to say that was the best interview I think I've heard on here,, you know for a fact he's being real about it all.i truly believe that he will reach his goals and you can tell that mark wants to help..... Good 🤞 luck
A good soul dealt a band hand of cards. I seent so many people around me end up the same way in my little 3000 person mill Town in the adirondack mountains. Today, I thank my parents they made me work everyday.
I noticed that Lee was sometimes focused on something on the floor. I wonder what he was looking at... Anywho... another Great interview! Wishing him and girlfriend the best and they get their lil babygirl back.
I love the Appalachian people. Strong, honest, hard working, simple and I see a lot of trauma and hard times...but I know they can get through it. I hope they continue to be amazing people
sex, drugs, beautiful old lady and loves his grandma. His eyes, the window to his soul, he has a good soul, his eyes are kind, he is good people. God Bless - hope you get off the drugs (inc. cigs). Have you seen a bigfoot...maybe heard him...7:21 ? stay nice you guys. Listen to your grandmaw.
As a recovering addict I can relate. But one thing you usually don't hear from an addict is they were out partying when they did drugs. That's not what we do. It's our life. This guy has really got so much potential. He needs just a little guidance to get him to take that step. I found out I was really smart while I was in prison. I have 17 years and the fog is just now lifting. You don't quit one day and life is great right away. The only way people are going to get helo is getting rid of the stigma. It is a disease and should be classified and handled medically. Keep with it Lee. You are a bad ass dude that is really intelligeny. The stereotype of your surroundings have you feeling you aren't.
He said he is on suboxon to help him get off heroin. It sounded very much to me like he was clean. Either way I hope they do get their life together and reunite with their child.
Good interview. Nice to hear he & his girl are working together to accomplish a very important goal. Love how he cares for his grandmother & has realised the bad choices he's made. Not many people, let alone couples do. Prayers for all the best for he & his loved ones. I hope we'll get a chance to hear of their progress.❤
You always hear people get on drugs because there’s nothing else to do but me and my friends grew up in 20 minutes outside of Washington DC with plenty of things to do and we never went and did them until we got high getting high just made everything more interesting as a kid or a teenager
Lee is very articulate. In any other circumstances I think he would be successful and living the dream. He’s so likeable. I just want to scoop him up and give him some guidance. I wish him all the best. He seems to be an honest young man. Another winning interview. Thank you.
One thing I've noticed with all of the interviews with drug addicts, they always either get a girl pregnant too early or get pregnant, or they drop out of high school, which fuels their addiction.
I agree- but with our Patriarchal society that says the man needs to be the breadwinner (especially in these small towns) it's a lot of pressure on a young man on having to provide $$, so many times they get scared & cave into to drugs( as an escape)

@@txsam2802 Small town Oklahoma, too.
That's a poor excuse, People who live in urban areas get addicted, where's there's plenty to do.
If you think that's the only place in the US that people say that then you need to do a lot of more traveling. It's everywhere like that!
It’s genetic. You grow up around it, and most people it’s all they really know.
impressive asf that his family owns so much land in WV. His land is a hiker's paradise. I hope he is okay. He's the type of guy I'd wanna hang out with. Love ya brother from Kentucky
The opener made me Laugh!!! I think that Lee's imagination sky rockets when he is, high. Lololol. Lovely interview!
No he's telling the absolute truth about the sex!
@@stephaniegates6596 Ohhh ok. Lol

These videos break my heart - the abuse, the drugs, it just destroys so many lives...
In another life he'd be an actor.
@Jason Bouphasavanh Not model handsome but he's got a great face and a decent amount of charisma. I can imagine 14 year old me having his poster on my bedroom wall, LOL.
He definitely still can be his life isn’t over
Agreed. He’s cute and charming.
He’s not bad now. But I couldn’t imagine how much better he would look if he got clean.
I like this genuine young man. Prayers and wish you the best in life.
This guy is a hoot !!! He’s a real sweetheart. I can see him bringing light and love into Sams world❤️Lee ur a good guy, I really enjoyed hearing ur interview. I appreciate your honesty. My old man is from Richmond, VA. Some good people come outta VA. Stay on ur sub ox program hun- y’all stay in the fight together! I’m rooting for ya
Well guys were getting are little girl back we are so happy and we are still clean and we're going to stay that way thanks for all the up lifting comments
@@sammthompson4908 Hi, i was looking for this good news, and here you are! Congratulations!! I am happy to hear that. Wishing you all the very best💕💕💛
I wish you the best in life Lee. You seem like a good dude and keep being warrior strong man. Mental fortitude is so key. ✌
You can tell how cute he is! Great personality. I wish nothing but the best for Samm and Lee!!!
this young man needs a helping hand and seems to be an inteligent human being give this guy kudos
He needs to have his ass beat into shape. Right now he thinks he can have his cake and eat it too. He is all talk. I hope that child is kept as far away from him and Sam as possible.
I'm from bluefield so I know all too well about these struggles in this area. Stay strong best wishes!
I hope Lee and Sam were able to get themselves clean and straight and get their child back.
Thanks for sharing your story, Lee!
I love you
@@Enochulate88 He used Kratom(Kradom?) idk. He said it helped some. He went into a rage while visiting his dad. His dad told him he better leave. He tried all his life to please his dad. He told me he had never had that, “out of control” before. Thank you for your kind words.
@@auntnan9121 helped some??? I was a opiate addict and kratom got me sober....... ......... if you knew you could heal from your backyard they wouldn't make any money they wanted to make kratom a schedule 1 drug for this very reason but its apart of the coffee family not an opiate just an herb so they couldn't ban it

I relate to this guy a lot the way he speaks and the drugs and our age. I feel your struggle bro
I can see the hurt in his eyes, im pray 🙏 strength 💪, its a tough addiction,
I'll be praying for him also. I'm confident his Mother has been for years
I wish Lee the best. From West Virginia. Hope this young guy, and family makes it in life. My dad's a country boy himself from Alabama. My family travelled most of the states as a kid, since my dad was a school principal with summers free. Been to West Virginia too-Beautiful state. Thanks for the upload.
I watched Sams first and after hearing the way she talked about Lee I thought for sure we’d hear him talk and it wouldn’t align with what she was saying. I was totally wrong. I’m happy they are on the same page and I hope they pull through!
the way they talk "old man" and "old lady" I really thought Sam was with an elderly man and would have thought the same about his "old lady" hehe
This guy seems like such a caring and loving guy. I hope life repays him soon and he has a good life. X
Best of luck, Lee. You are YOUNG and there’s so much life left for you to live. The whole world is yours if you stay clean 🧡
Seems like real genuine guy, I would like to be his friend. Hope the best of luck for him and his family. Hope he can get recovery for his addiction...
he's not perfect but he definitely has a good head on his shoulders. he recognizes the importance of his family, acknowledges his mistakes, cares about his child and is still working. hope he gets clean if that's his goal, he can definitely do it.
Ur awesome for taking care of your grandma. I admire how folks respect their elders. (Young folks need more of that.) great interview.
Mark's favorite question they all love is " what makes you stay here, why dont you leave "
Because it is the solution, answer... they never thought of. Amazing!
A lot of people won't leave cause they won't be able to get any dope. Who wants to move away just to have to drive back home to score lol
These photos are beautiful...they should be published in a book....just found this channel at 2 am and I guess it’s going too be a long night....thank you for these interviews
It’s so nice how he cares for his grandma…
I like this guy, school is not everyone. That doesn't mean people are stupid.
This guy is so cool! He has a good personality! Well wishes for you and Sam.
Thank you for the interview Lee and Soft White Underbelly
I couldn't help but like this guy lol
I do not
@@angelafender do tell?
What a good guy Lee is. You can tell how much he loves his family. Meth is hard to get off of. Getting used to the sober sex and things like that is tough. I used to be a heroin addict. Off and on homeless etc. I havent shot dope in 8 yrs. Im starting to miss it more and more. Best wishes for Lee and Samm. They're such lovely folks.
K r a t o m
The opening made me so sick. I was a child of meth users an could you imagine the things I have seen as a child. Ugh seemed to last a life time an wishing it would end.12 hours plus i know. Imagine being a child in this world. I did not have a good time or childhood.
I am so sorry you had to endure that kind of torture as a child!! I hope you have been able to overcome some of the trauma you suffered!! ❤️❤️❤️
I'm so sorry you went through this, but thank you for sharing and showing the destruction it causes from the child's perspective.
Praying these two get their priorities straight and make the right decisions for the children.
That sounds awful. Sorry to hear that.
But u can now have and choose to have a good life
That u can do
Life life girl.
Damn. I'm so sorry. Blessings and healing to you.
This channel is like a little treasure trove of the "American" human experience. Keep up the great work. Much love from the U.K.
I'm from Jackson County W.Va. I really enjoy the Fayetteville area especially during the fall months New River Gorge on bridge day is beautiful
God bless him. I have him in my prayers.
"Theyre talking bout shadow people walkin round im like yeah you need to lie down bud" lmao
he seems like a very nice young man, i wish him the best of luck.
Love this man. So real.
Im from this same area life is so different here than other places I left many years but still came back to be with family
He said "a-kerns" lol
Nice! I am from a small country, but we have so many different dialects and accents overhere . I think it's really nice.
I loved how he said it. Lol
@@tashal6739 Yes, me too. Lol

@Mike England Absolutely EMPHATICALLY Incorrect!
A very interesting perspective on life, demographically. Effortlessly honest and surreal.
Lee's a good guy. Down to earth and awesome to hang out with!
I have to say that was the best interview I think I've heard on here,, you know for a fact he's being real about it all.i truly believe that he will reach his goals and you can tell that mark wants to help..... Good 🤞 luck
Well, I’m late this morning! But it didn’t take long for me to spray coffee out of my mouth🤣🤣🤣🤦♀️ I just wasn’t ready yet!
Mark finds the most real, original , personable and fascinating people to interview....it seems more like just a good conversation.
I Lived In The Appalachian Mountains In Marion, North Carolina. And Meth Is So Terrible There.
A good soul dealt a band hand of cards. I seent so many people around me end up the same way in my little 3000 person mill Town in the adirondack mountains. Today, I thank my parents they made me work everyday.
I can tell this guy is very smart. I wish I could snatch him out of this environment and give him a job.
Then do it
Smart? Lol!
The smarter the addict the more dangerous they can be.
I noticed that Lee was sometimes
focused on something on the floor.
I wonder what he was looking at...
Anywho... another Great interview!
Wishing him and girlfriend the best
and they get their lil babygirl back.
What did u get from him looking at the floor
It was probably just a bug crawling around hehehe .
😆
HALLUCINATIONS FROM LACK OF SLEEP.
He can’t focus, he wasn’t jus looking at the floor he was looking off in many directions !
probably just thinking, i look around when i think

Good man I hope they get their little girl back and I hope they can remain clean for the sake of their little family xx
WTF.. they're doing meth.. NO.. what's wrong with you???
The temptation of drug addiction is everywhere. Like my mother always use to sày, " An idol mind is the devil's workshop."
Translation: Women love drug addicts.
Yes. Women have multiple children who are taken away from them.
I agree- but with our Patriarchal society that says the man needs to be the breadwinner (especially in these small towns) it's a lot of pressure on a young man on having to provide $$, so many times they get scared & cave into to drugs( as an escape)
Ldo
They all seem to have a bad home life growing up too.
Sweet soul. I wish him the best
