One time in 1982, I was in Hessy's music store in Liverpool with a friend. We went to go out the front door, when I nearly bumped into this tall guy with curly hair, "Sorry mate" I said. When I got out of the door I realised it was Andy McCuskey! XD

Enola Gay was the name of the B29 Superfortress & the pilots mother.
I"t's 8:15 and thats the time thats its always bern" refers to the detonation of the bomb sending out an E.M.P stopping all watches at 8.15.
I didnt write that it came from the web phil.
What i did find funny was the BBC pland to ban it on TOTP as they thought it was about homosexuality, i cant remember the OMD documentery but just shows how TOTP basicly could make or break a new band :-/

My brother brought this home one day on 12" EP- we must have played it 6-7 times none stop- it blew us away :-)
Just think, they were in their 20s when they were experimenting with electronic music, and produced some classics for the New Wave era .. Electricity, Enola Gay, Messages, Souvenir, Forever Live and Die, Maid of Orleans, 2nd Thought. etc. My fav being Statues. These guys are so appreciative of their audiences, fans etc.
Amazing creativity for people still in their 20's. Interesting to hear how Andy's voice has changed a bit and he's added more experience to it!
@@stephenmatthias6408 I think it was very raw when in his 20s, I remember that and my word ... his jagged dancing ... he is a fit (in the old sense) dude! Neither one knew how to play an instrument ... Andy being an Artist and and Paul studying Electronics.
One of my fav bands have all there albums,,,, saw them 5 times in concert
