I think Ranbir is extremely talented, which reflects in his work. Even is the movie was not a box office success, his portrayal of the characters is superb.
Ranbir is my favourite actor ever! Adore him so much, he's incredibly talented and actually so underrated and he needs to be loved so much more, these film choices he's been making recently are so damn versatile and cannot wait to watch each one, so excited for Jagga Jasoos 😊❤️
I have loved his work since Wake up Sid. I remember saying" wow, his presence on screen is so refreshing" . Since then, that momentum is still on. I absolutely loved Bombay Velvet which strangely not many liked at all. Rooting for you Ranbir ! And i completely agree about keeping up with the whole social media thing. It's exhausting and time consuming. Keep being you Ranbir 🙌🏻
His avatar in animal looks interesting too. Love how he can pull off anything, I have watched 3 films in last 1 month and animal pre teaser was played before every film. Everyone in the theater said ye film pakka dekhenge
Loved what Ranbir said at the end, about being active on social media. To paraphrase, it is like working hard to impress random people and ending up looking obviously phony. My views exactly.
Besides all his good looks and great acting skills and sense of humour, I feel Ranbir really is a gem of a person. That bit (12:08 onwards) when Anurag Basu said that it's unfair that when a film fails, it becomes the actor's flop..Ranbir could've just agreed or stayed silent, but he went on to say that it's fair because they also take lion share of the credit when a film works.
@@kubersingh5633 I think that hiding gives us the excitement of watching him on screen. I believe actors atleast once in a while should stay away from public eye.
Tin Tin.. Exactly..! I felt the same thing..!! My friends were laughing at me when I pointed it out.. Glad to know I am not the only one who felt so.. Thank you, Anupama, #FilmCompanion.. Looking forward to the release.. 😇😊 Two really passionate artists- Mr.Basu and Ranbir.... Loved the interview.. Your questions, as always, were relevant, specific and honest.. I love the way you conduct your interviews; Anupama.. You are so involved and excited (just like a viewer is)..You do it so casually but there is this hidden hint of seriousness, professionalism.. I love how you manage to balance the two.. I am sure many would have told you this, but.. YOU ARE REALLY GOOD, MAM.. 😊👍
+Parminder Singh : Is it wrong to mention it, even if its just one shot that reminded u of something else..? That one shot actually took me back to my childhood and it only made me love the promo even more.. So I was talking of it in a very positive light and was only appreciating the same.. Hope you understand..😊
Thank you so much Rubiks Cubes. I am genuinely excited. I love talking to artists and figuring out how they do the things they do. I’m fascinated by the process of creation and I guess that shows. Thanks for watching and do spread the word on Film Companion. - Anupama Chopra
A little miffed at how all interviewers are giving so much focus to 'how much time' this movie took. It's unnecessarily casting a negative shadow on the movie. The filmmakers shouldn't be allowing that and definitely shouldn't be replying so defensively either. At the end of the day the moviegoers are getting a complete film made with love and labour, and that's all that should matter.
Anupamaji please interview sridevi and try to bring out more from her about her approach to acting. Would love if you could try getting her talk about some of her acclaimed works including down south.
Jay Debbarma I agree with you. Yes she is expressive but the problem is her pronunciation and dialogue delivery, it makes her acting fake. I noticed it in many of her films but I wonder why couldn't she work on hindi if she is in industry for almost 12 to 13 years?
I dont know why or how Barfi can get hate but its the reason I'm excited for Jagaa Jasoos!! I think Barfi is still the best movie to come out from Hindi cinema for the past few years..
all their interviews were sort of shot on the same day as they are in same clothes...i wonder shuld i feel for their hard work...in promotion...or all this is sort of a last resort for saving a movie with bad script
Anupama again you brought good sets of questions to the table and have to say anurag basu is very intelligent and calm human being and with out these all the amazingly talented directors ranbir kapoor is nothing but besharam.
This guy is complaining why critics didn't criticize La La Land! a) It was an attempt to revisit the golden era of Hollywood by a director FROM Hollywood. b)He played homage to specific scenes fom SPECIFIC kind of movies, The French and The English musicals, and the director was very clear about the influences those movies would have on La La Land during the making itself. The viewers and the industry there were aware or well exposed to these movies, and the makers and the actors would talk about it all the time in interviews. 3) You, on the other hand, kept mum about all the lifted scenes, took random scenes from random movies all around the world thay majority in this country were not exposed to, without any coherence or logic. When people pointed out, you started calling it homage. There is a subtle difference between homage, plagiarism and plain hoodwinking, that is the intent of the film maker.
i am getting the sense that Ranbir hates Anurag Basu. He is mouthing platitudes and is being politically correct but his body language says it all. I guess he took the overlong delay in making this film to heart, i don't see them collaborating for another project in a hurry !
you r wrong. he is doing kishoreKumar biopic with anuragbasu from April 2018. he given him 6 months. he said in another iv which given along with this iv
I was so exited to see Jagga Jasoos, but I was really disappointed today at cinema in how the movie started!!! from the first 5 minutes I knew that this is not my cup of tea.. I got disturbed with continuous back ground music and this meaningless musical film.. I really adore Ranbir and his performance and from the first film he did Sawariya, then Bachna Aeh Hasino, and Wake up Sid, but later.. I really don't know why Ranbir couldn't select some good script for his film. Barfi was not bad, and Aei Dil Hai Mushkil was a nice film with great songs but the last 15 minutes was not necessary. I really wish that Ranbir Kapoor would be smarter to select some better films as he's really a talented actor and adorable. wish you all the best Ranbir.. please do better films, we all love you in our country Bahrain.
Interact with us man, Ranbir. See what people feel about you. You Oscar material!
True that!
I hope Ranbir reads this... He is the most real of all the actors and the best that is out there too!!!
I think Ranbir is extremely talented, which reflects in his work. Even is the movie was not a box office success, his portrayal of the characters is superb.

I wish this guy to be the superstar he was meant to be. Hero with great acting skills.
he already is paaji the next superstar

I loved Bombay velvet too 😭😭😭😭 really wish it hadn't tanked. Ranbir is definitely one of the finest actors in today's age yaaasssssss

Yeah, his humble attitude very rare to find in bollywood
ranbir kapoor is a great actor,i hv watched all of his film.keep rocking👍
Even me...😊
Thank you for this interview! Loving Ranbir even before Saawariya released, and I always wait for such earnest interviews!
Omg!!!! Ranbir is just tooooo cute ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Just love the way Anupama Ma'am conducts interviews, no nonsense questions! You and Rajiv are Gem of Interviewers!
Rajiv? Lol. He is harbinger of gossips.
Unlike karan johar..... who is the mystery man in your life?
Ranbir is revolutionary actor
One of the real actor in the industry !! , amongst the body builders, gymnasts, dancers, and acrobats. :D . Best of luck to dada and Ranbir.
I'm hearing Ranbir's voice after so long! It's like he completely disappeared!
Like he said he's an introvert and stays away from public events and social media so it's difficult to see or hear from him.
But it's great he's coming back with a film. Or films. Plural.
@@kubersingh5633 I think that hiding gives us the excitement of watching him on screen. I believe actors atleast once in a while should stay away from public eye.
we all love ranbir
Jagga jasoos was a good film Nd much better than shit films that earns so much money. Nd as a fan it feels frustrating.
I loved n enjoyed movie thoroughly
RK forever.

Loved the analogies for director and actor. Hahaha !! dog and a tic on the dog xD
I just love the way Anupama takes interviews. It's Soo practical yet personal.
Ranbir is really shy.. In this interview itself he is not able to make eye contact .
Mith jain woo shy nahi hai wo aise hi baatein karta hai
@@amitmajhi3300 what does that mean though?
Loved the interview! ranbit is a rockstar!!
I can watch anupama interviews on a loop.. the research and the qns she comes up with .. really opens up the actors
Thanks a lot, Chinth. Stay tuned to Film Companion.
Thank you Mr Basu for being unconventional and taking cinema in india to the next level 😊🖒
Katrina not late u shine. she can't act. you are brilliant actor. you can shine. Kat has nothing no do. u r saying this bcoz u like her
the dude they broke up and he respect her that’s way he so so nice with the people that hurt him iwant to be honest
Anupamaji please interview sridevi and try to bring out more from her about her approach to acting. Would love if you could try getting her talk about some of her acclaimed works including down south.
how could u take someone in a lead role for a film who can't act, whats the point in choosing katrina kaif against ranbir
I cant explain u man, u r at another level
shlok goel because u don't have an answer to his explanation... u r just a blind hater...!!
Jay Debbarma but now she has been in the industry from last 12 yrs but today also her acting skills never developed!!
she can't express with her face, it goes further than just her pronunciation which after 15+ years is just a joke
Jay Debbarma I agree with you. Yes she is expressive but the problem is her pronunciation and dialogue delivery, it makes her acting fake. I noticed it in many of her films but I wonder why couldn't she work on hindi if she is in industry for almost 12 to 13 years?
Ranbir is soooo good 👍
His annoyance with Dada was seen at 3.18
He is a Hero in/of his own life, and and the end that's what counts❤
Loved his last answer 😂
anupama ask so good questions . like rajeev .
Ranbir's t-shirt costs 22k. I'll just leave this unnecessary piece of info here.
Thanks 😊
soumya dham how do you know that compliment your claim with a reference.
Google it.
Can't wait. Literally.

I just liked my own comment. This is how excited I am. I never like my own stuff. That`s weird.
just, awesome 👍

That same pinch at the end tho!
audio is exceptionally poor. not even comfortable with ear phones. please rectify this as it's pure conversation and this audio has to b sound.
Anurag Basu guy who screwed Ranbir Kapoor career..
can't wait for jj
3:30 - Something fishy.
Please do an interview with Mr Dhulia about 'Raag Desh'.
They did back to back interviews one with Rajeev Masand and Anupama, look at their cloths 😬not a single minute to change😱
LMAO it's true if Amit ji wishes you happy birthday you have to say thank you, sonam just got blasted by Big B for not doing so hahaha
very natural
Where are the recent movie reviews Film Companion?
Was really looking forward to reviews of all movies that have released in the past month.
Sorry Anurag Basu but the trailer has references from English classics written all over them.
Anupama, the sound really sucks. Please fix it to be able to enjoy the interviews and materials you load on film companion
Ranbir used "To Be Honest" almost before every fucking sentence.
Anupama and Rajiv are both terrible reviewers espescially in giving stars to the films. But interviewing one can't complain. Both are good.
Last answer 🤣🤣🤣🤣
can you please fix the audio, its too low
The volume of the video is quite low.
why is sound too low in all the videos
audio problem with this video....
11:43 🤣🤣🤣🤣
12:34 😂😂😂

all their interviews were sort of shot on the same day as they are in same clothes...i wonder shuld i feel for their hard work...in promotion...or all this is sort of a last resort for saving a movie with bad script

Anurag try something original. I am sure you can do it, you are talented. Just try harder.

these guys have given interview in the same outfit at many places lol..
rishie_rich that's because he's done all those interviews on the same day.
unfortunately this movie will be a flop !!!
The worst part of Anupama's interview is her laughing, its so irritating.

Body language of Ranbir was a bit weird...He doesn't look very convinced with the film even though he's the producer...
True, I think both of them are nervous because of delay
why is aparichit here
